I take my dog there to run off leash after school hours with other doggies.

Bubb Park, oh yeah… loved it. Me and Mamba and we like the boom. Lush green lawns Large open field for team sports Benches Preschooler sized swings Plenty of trees that line the perimeter of the entire park Picnic tables & a dedicated area for large celebration gatherings Paved pathway for easy biking, skating, scootering, skateboarding Two children’s play structures at opposite ends of the park Sand pit play areas Bathrooms(were not opened today during our visit) Doggie poop bags about 100 yards from park near the entrance to Bubb School at Barbara & Leona streets All three of my children and all of my nephews played at Bubb Park when they were children growing up. I enjoyed my time here today with Mamba as we romped and I reminisced on the past. What a lovely afternoon in the cool of the day strolling through Bubb Park with my slick fine strong puppy dog. Thanks for the memories Bubb Park!

Local parents’ groups are reporting a registered sex offender hanging out at this park. It’s one particular guy whose backyard opens into the park, and there’s a restraining order against him at the nearby school. If he’s being threatening and it’s an emergency, call 650−903−6395 from a cell. If it’s a non-emergency and you want to report an incident then use 650−903−6922. The detective handling the case is Detective Kevin Solomon. The person in question is mid ~ late 50’s, 6′ ~ 6’1″, 180 lbs, grey(used to be reddish) thin hair with short buzz hair cut, craggy face. It sounds like some of the neighbors want to get a restraining order on his being around the park, and the police are co-operative but need current reports if the guy is harassing people in the park.

A nice gathering point for members of the Bagels and Babies moms group who live in the area around Bubb Elementary School, the most immediate part of this park is best for the under 5 set. There is a play structure for those over 5 set back in the area closer to the school but, I find that it’s a little too far away for a parent like me who has one kid under 5 and one kid who’s over. The other downside to this playground— no potty! What’s up with these places that appeal to little bladders and have no facilities to support them?! This fact alone tells me this park is primarily for the neighborhood, people who can simply run home if they need to go. Stil, I do appreciate that our city planners gave such thought to neighborhoods that they included places like Bubb for residents to get together.

The locals love this park! It’s got great play structures, a wide open field for playing ball, and room for kids to bike and skate. It’s a nice place to run into neighbors and for the kids to meet their friends. The only down side it that there is no bathroom(only a portapotty) but Mountain View plans add one.

This park is kinda creepy especially at night when I go running through it. During the day it’s overrun my school children and there’s serious soccer madness that goes on during the weekend. As Rachel R says hit Cuesta just south of here instead.

Bubb Park is adjacent to Bubb Elementary School, and it feels creepy to me that someone would hang out by the school. For an awesome, huge park, head a few blocks away to Cuesta Park.
