I wanted to drop my ’02 R6 at least 2 ½ inches, but the guy suggested not to do this since it would be too low, the bike would be more prone to scratches, not good for bumps, etc. so he advised I drop the bike an inch. It was sufficient enough, although I still wear boots with ooomph. I paid a reasonable price for the service.
