Dr. Li is just wonderful. She is sweet, warm, kind, and caring. When you go to see her, you really feel her positive energy(sorry for the hippie BS, but it’s true). But all that would be irrelevant if she wasn’t an effective practitioner. She has greatly helped me with my hormone imbalances and the issues that come with that – feminine issues, acne, sensitivity to cold – as well as with my digestive issues(including IBS). Also, between her and my chiropractir, Dr. Gregory Dabb, my TMJ is basically GONE! [She helps with the inflammation and nerve issues and he works on the alignment/structural aspects of TMJ] She’s a medical doctor(although she studied in China and Japan, if that makes a difference to you), which makes me a bit more comfortable. When I was in college, my university medical center referred me to an accupuncturist. Everyone raved about him. But I never, ever saw results with him, despite weekly treatments for a year. I’ve been seeing Dr. Li for about three months, and I already feel better… I can’t say it’s a placebo effect, either, because after my first negative experience with acupuncture, I was quite skeptical.
