Come here all the time. Best Mexican Chicken Period. Like the salsas and extras you get especially the grilled green onions. Inside of the restaurant is casual and the staff are nice.

Really good chicken. Lol. Did another reviewer really criticize them on the quality of their paper napkins?

This place hands down best chicken in Denver. Get the large chicken dinner, it has generous portions. Very tasty, and the workers are very friendly. I would highly recommend everyone try this place at least once in your life. The rice is delicious too!

Had the 2 Flauta Plate, very tasty & flavorable. Clean & roomy restaurant. Noisy due to the kitchen’s venting of the stoves heat, permiating thoughtout the restaurant.

I always find myself craving Rico Pollo on one of those Friday nights that I don’t want to cook but I also don’t want to go out. The hus and I always get a whole chicken meal and end up having leftovers that last a couple more meals. It’s slightly reminiscent of El Pollo Loco in California, however I’d say the quality is better. The menu is rather limited but that doesn’t bother me because I believe they should just focus on what they do best, whole and half chickens. The counter staff was cordial, not overly accommodating or talkative but I suspect there is somewhat of a language barrier. I appreciate that I usually seem them cleaning. I’m hoping this place lasts!

Got the half-chicken for like $ 10 and barely got enough meat off the tasty, grilled backs and wings to fill a taco. I miss El Pollo Loco in California!

The green chili breakfast burritos are great … I always ask for more lettuce, but they still want to scrimp on something that costs ‘em 1 cent to provide … but since this place took the place of what was probably one of the most ghetto businesses in Mountain View(JUGGS!!!), 5 stars baby! THANKYOU for turning this eye sore and laughing stock into something the neighborhood really NEEDS … goodonyas! The one over on East Colfax always puts tons of lettuce on top which I love … suggestion: owner should consider doing some product quality consistency sampling from multiple locations. The chicken dinners are great too and always last about 2 – 3 meals … Rico! Pollo! ;)

Definitely tasty food. I’d like to see more menu options, like a chicken bowl, guacamole, etc.

Just made my first and last visit to Rico Pollo. The good. Clean and sparkling during the opening hours. Shredded chicken was tasty. Lots of spices. The Average. Counter staff was somewhat distant. The ugly. «No flautas today.» They are the cheapest item on the menu at $ 3 and you don’t have any? Microwaved nachos with cheese wiz. Best of all, they do the microwaving right in front of you at the counter. Expensive. Nachos de Pollo + drink was $ 9. I can eat a Chipotle for that and get better food.(A ½ chicken is $ 14. Mama Sanninos gives you a ½ chicken AND a side of spaghetti for less.) Temperature was freezing in the second(north side) dining area. No Wi-Fi. Very low-end paper napkins.
