First time walking into this shop today, and it is pretty cool. It’s right across the street from Crêpe Vine at a corner location so it’s pretty easy to find. I’ve never been to any of the other locations, and the name pretty much gives away what this place sells –soda pop. They sell so many different flavors of pop including their own brand, it’ll probably take awhile to taste them all. The cool thing about this place is you can get a 4, 6, or 20 pack at reasonable prices. I think the 20 pack costs around $ 22 and you get to choose your flavors. If you’re looking for a thoughtful gift, I think getting a pack of pop from here would be a great idea. Who doesn’t love soda?

Very fun place. Great people work there too and hilarious gag gifts with candy and soda.

Interesting to have a Rocket Fizz in downtown Mountain View. Overpriced candy that can usually be found around town much cheaper. Sometimes they manage to get me in with the taffies. I stuff a small bag. So many of them were super hard. I have had that issue at all Rocket Fizz stores– inconsistency. Lots of other shtuff to spend your money on. Nice staff. Free parking is plentiful in Mountain View.

Every child’s dream… the Willy Wonka of Castro street features almost every soda and classic candy imaginable. Nice selection of pop rocks and bubblegum too.

My assessment: This candy store is an awesome museum for candies. Let’s get down to business here. It’s a candy store. Great! But let’s be real… $ 4 for an averaged sized Tobleron bar… $ 2 for a chocolate bar that I can get at Safeway for a lot cheaper… We get it, you’re by Google area, does not mean you should charge an arm and a leg for basic chocolate. Let’s talk about the other chocolates for $ 5ea. because of the box. Does this chocolate bar include diamonds? The main selling point is the different sodas right? But half the store is Candy, all of which you can find at Walmart/dollar store for a lot cheaper. War heads? $ 3 a bag? C’mon, be realistic. But then again, if Candy Museum was what you’re going for, you did that very well.

The old aquarium sea life store that’s been on Castro street for who knows how long has given way to another branch of Rocket Fizz. Just in time for the holidays replete with Star Wars and Xmas windows displays. All the crazy sodas, candies, vintage rock group signs, and gag gifts are stocked to the ceilings. What’s with all the weird underwear gag stuff anyways? If you like weird, unusual, or nearly forgotten sweets, they are likely to be here. Love the vast range of ginger beer but Ranch flavored soda maybe not something Ill touch with YOUR10 foot pole. Credit to AR for the photos when I left my camera in the car
