It’s only the 2nd year of the fleadh, things are still evolving so I’m impressed with the how many people turned out, the various stalls selling home comforts from Ireland(tayto, cream crackers, cadbury chocolate, etc), crafts, the atmosphere, bands, etc — nicely done. Kids had a good day, and it was nice to hear a few Irish accents! Only thing that disappointed was the lack of real Irish chipper chips with loads of salt and vinegar! See you next year.

Not bad, not good. Just ok… website said there would be lots of food including irish mac and cheese. WRONG! There wasn’t very much food vendors or authentic irish food like colcannon or blood sausage. They only had irish chicken curry fries, shepard’s pie, celtic roll, chicken pastries, burgers with«irish» cheddar etc. Ok, that was a fail. Nonfood vendors sold celtic jewelry, celtic bed covers, celtic wine/beer glasses and celtic shirts. Beer included stella, guiness etc. Also not very much. Get a guiness for a more irish feeling. It’s really small… like…you can walk around the whole place in under 30min. There’s a bounce house for $ 5, whole face painting for $ 12, $ 8 for half, cheek i forgot how much and«bling»(glitter) for $ 1. Food was just simple stuff you could’ve put together for around $ 5, not $ 9…street parking. It’s not in castro, just follow the sound or look for bangkok spoon which will be at the back of the festival. I’d rather hang out in dt than at this place.

I been coming to this now two years and I only wish they had more Irish food! There’s always two food stands one that’s Irish and another that British. The prices are kinda high($ 10 Guinness) but I guess that’s how keep this running. There’s good old rock music and some traditional dancing, it’s a good for a lazy weekend.
