Good beer made at the micro brewery! The food has a different flair from the typical bar food. Fish tacos were refreshing with a small kick! Good place to hang with friends!

Came here to watch a football game on Sunday and it’s perfect! The place had an abundance amount of tvs!!! I mean literary everywhere we turned we could see the game! The place was packed which made the atmosphere fun! Of course ordered their beer! My favorite was the amber gold and the Mexican stout!!! Both were !!! For entrees we had the fish and chips and the whole order of ribs!!! The rinds were soft! Juicy and very tasty! The meat fell right off the bone!!! The sauce was super tasty and tangy!!! Love it. We also ordered the fish and chips and garlic fries!!! The servings were very big way more than one person can eat!!! Definitely love this place to watch football games! Super cozy! Not too loud and tvs and food rock!

This is my first Unilocal review, and I made my account largely because I think Tied House deserves a higher rating than it has. This is my go-to for watching games, a solid dinner, and fantastic beer. I love that they have beer both from their own brewery, and from another local brewery. They have huge TVs everywhere, so its easy to see any game you want. Its bright, airy, and wooden, and always puts me in a good mood. Their garlic sweet potato fries are large and super garlicky, and the sauce it comes with is also fantastic. Definitely worth the money, even when its not happy hour. Their desserts are also excellent!

The beers here are good! I highly recommend the Citra IPA. It looks like other people were complaining about the food here, so I’d just stick to eating somewhere else and ordering beers here. They have a big screen on the wall where you can watch sports! There’s a ton of seating in here and they have awesome happy hour deals for the Sharks and for football… but not the Golden State Warriors… :( If they had great deals when there’s a Warriors game on, I’d definitely be a regular here since it’s so close to work!

My wife and I are big fans of this place(read further if you want to know about how they do banquets). It has a great brewery vibe and decent prices for Mountain View. It feels like a neighborhood brewery and the food is good. We normally go for a burger with our beer and perhaps some appetizers. We had our rehearsal dinner here and were BLOWNAWAY with how great of a job they did. There is an indoor/outdoor room in the back that we had it hosted in, we did a full dinner and bar and the service was AMAZING! They have you pick a certain number of options and even print out a menu for your guests to choose from. I would absolutely recommend this place for banquets/gatherings if you are looking for a casual/dressy vibe! They were able to do everything I requested and even stored and served the cake I brought from outside!

Pretty decent happy hour(4 – 6, M-F). The in-house beers they have on tap are yummy and the portions for the appetizers are generous. We tried the wheat beer and the stout-both good. The stout was served via nitro so it had extra frothy and creamy goodness! The service was prompt and welcoming. They checked on us and refilled water often. The staff took notice of us even though it was a busy Friday night and it was happy hour! Décor was forgettable except for the Steiner mugs hanging on the back wall behind the bar. The quality of the food was between mediocre and good. The chicken wings were ok and the ribs were a bit dry; but the garlic fries, onion rings, and nachos were fantastic. We also ordered the spicy poutine: a carnitas-gravy-country potato bowl of madness. It tasted unique and interesting, but the presentation looked messy and unfamiliar so no one else at the table tried it. The place is a solid three stars. Definitely a good place to grab some beers after work and watch a game over some nachos and fries with friends.

Came here with my GF and her friend for a quick bite before hitting the pub. We sat outside, which was coo and our waiter was super chill. I think the gals ordered fish and chips and i got a burger with a cup of coffee(I am an old man). Everything was fine but my our friend’s Old Fashion drink was not up to her specs. She wasnt too pleased with it.(It looked really pink for some reason). The coffee took hella long to come out, the guy said he had to brew each cup individually and it took a long time to brew a cup, but he assured me «It will come out, it may be a while, but we got you» I laughed. The food came out and it was great. Except my burger, when he put it down he said«you ordered cheese didnt you?» I said, «well yeah» hes like«did you still want it?» I kinda gave him that«really?» face and said, «well, i ordered it, so yeah that would be cool» Came out a min or two later. All in all, it was a good meal, I ate everything. Got a 2nd cup of coffee that took around 10 mins to arrive, but it was tasty and woke me up for the remainder of the night. 4⁄5 since the drinks were a lil weird for our friend, and the fact coffee took forever. But the food was awesome and the service was certainly good too. Would return.

Been to the Tied house many times when I come for work to CA. This is the first time I wasn’t really impressed. The draft beer was good, but expensive. The veggie burger tasted like one you’d get at any grocery store. One thing I did like was the service; our waiter was really quick and friendly.

The beer selection is great with offerings from Hermitage and Tied House themselves. The selection rotates so you can keep coming back and have a lot of choices. The food is also great and the menu has lots of changes and some specials. They have several TVs which makes it a great place to watch games. I’ve never had a bad experience here and will continue to come back.

Many things to say, since I’m a long time customer here. Pros: 1. Your Staff is Awesome! From the Hostesses/Hosts to the Management! You are all doing fantastic! 2. Your Beer selection is great! Tried almost all the brews and almost never disappointed. 3. Happy Hour and other Specials are great deals when arriving on time for these. 4. Your food has always had great taste and rarely have a problem/mix up with my orders. All of your Sandwiches and Burgers are super delicious! Cons: 1. Half of the current appetizers are overpriced, and some of your classic ones are gone from the menu(not even move to an entrée). I. e: Blackened Catfish. 2. Despite I’ve tried several of your entries, and are very tasty, some of these are very overpriced for the size and quality. I. e, Jambalaya. Regardless, I enjoy visiting your spot and look forward to continue being a customer and member.

This place is fantastic! The beer is superb! Get the maltopia! Absolutely delicious beer! Garlic sweet potatoe fries, get the garlic on the side. Or else it’s really overwhelming. Best bartender ever, Stasha, I think I spelled her name right, order from her! She works Tuesday’s to Thursday’s. Weekends she’s in the back yelling at people. Love the place! Go go go, no hesitation!

We went here last Friday night 10 pm. Seems ok, large screens TV’s and attendants standing around waiting for you to ask to be seated. Easy money! My friends enjoyed their beers and my house Cabernet was drinkable. The house garlic fries were plentiful and garlicky. Décor: ok, could use an upgrade.

We got there and the hostess sat us right away. There were quite a few people there, and it seemed like she wanted all the action up front. Noooooo we want our own party, get us away from the crowd. So we got our seat, the waiter came over right away, we got a couple of samples, then found the beer we like. He kept asking us if we wanted food. No were good, then he asked are you sure? so no food! Dang… We said no food! So he was a little pushy! Other than that, there kinda pricey! $ 7.00 for a 13 oz glass of beer. I don’t see us visiting that spot in the future. I didn’t see anything on the menu that interested me. Or maybe just because I wasn’t hungry… Mr. Waiter!

6÷16÷15: I’m sorry, but food just doesn’t taste good here. Came here after The Game since none of us ate. Can’t report on the drinks, cause that was the last thing on my mind, but the food… 1. Smoked Salmon and Chips $ 15.50: Sounds totally rad right? – a new spin on the ubiquitous fish and chips! But I can’t really taste the smoke. I thought this would be like either the soft smoked salmon lox or the harder, longer smoked drier stuff. But it really just tastes like standard salmon that has been overcooked. The coating is alright. You get 3 medium sized pieces. Not worth the money. 4⁄10. 2. Substitute Onion Rings $ 3: Pretty bad. The beer batter coating was totally mushy and soaked with oil. Not crispy at all. Some of the worst beer battered onion rings I’ve had. 2⁄10. Sorry, don’t come here for food. 2⁄5 #american

I’m not a beer snob, but I do love me some good beer. I’m always on the lookout for new beer places(restaurants, bars, breweries, stores) but Tied House will always be a favorite go-to. You can’t go wrong with a flight here, a must. I brought a true German beer snob here once, he approved. I love their appetizer menu, I typically load up on apps, I also highly recommend trying one of their burgers. Just go, drink a cold brew, you won’t be sorry. Side note, I thought I left my phone here once. When I went back to look for it, the staff helped me search everywhere, and followed up with a call the next day to check if I had found my phone. Silly me, it was in the backseat of my car. It was nice though, attention to detail and customer service for the win!

I’ve had their brews at festivals and elsewhere, but this was my first time enjoying a cold one with food at their location in Mountain View. Friday night and it was packed. Luckily we arrived just as two others were leaving the bar, so we quickly swooped their seats and made ourselves comfortable. The gf ordered a Belgian Golden Ale, I got the Old Peter’s Lager, and we shared Nachos… a small order… that turned out to be nothing but small… which I’m cool with. The more cheese, the merrier. Then we finished with a glass of Maltopia. Like I said, the Nachos were a pleasant surprise. The chips are nothing special, but it’s all about the toppings – cheese, black beans, salsa, sour cream, jalapenos, and guac. We ate every single chip with toppings on them; the naked ones we left alone, though there weren’t many. On to the beers… My beer was really just a Bud Light in disguise, the Belgian was flavorful, and the Maltopia we shared was the best of all.

Oh! Our waitress was wonderful! I feel so bad now that I didn’t remember her name. It was a bit hectic that night that we went. It was a get together or sorts between my old co-workers and I. Since I haven’t seen them in months, believe it or not, those are withdrawal symptoms! And the request being that there’s alcohol. Some emails went out, and some weren’t received, so the messages day of was mind boggling. But not as simple as walking in to Tie House last minute and requesting a table for 8 – 10. We didn’t need a larger table, but it was nice that the cold air from the rain earlier prevented others from sitting outside at the patio. Even without a sweater or jacket, it was mighty stuffy in the restaurant, I don’t know how the other patrons are sitting there not sweating themselves skinny! Our waitress was filled in that people will be coming and going. And just check-in whenever she can, since she was busy inside too, no rush, and no need to check-in every few minutes. Our drinks and appetizers were ordered and placed, she was even nice enough to pull the plastic wrap off the outside tv and put the basketball game on. Score! ^_^ — sweet potato fries, must have! crispy, healthy alternative and delicious with garlic! — pesto calamari, just like any other calamari, lightly floured and fried, the best part? The pesto sauce that was tossed in with the calamari. — buffalo chicken tenders, juicy, spicy and again delicious. — fish & chips, you can’t go wrong ordering deep fried fish and fries. The only one I’m not a fan of was the sausage/kebab like thing. Between people coming early, leaving early, coming late and leaving late– our waitress did a pretty good job. The minus one star because one of our early leavers had let her know to put their order on a separate tab because they’ll be leaving early. She didn’t do that… so when it came time for them to leave, they couldn’t pay because she couldn’t close a still open tab for them, or separate the check until it’s closed. Instead of making it easier for us, it was a bit irksome for the couple who left early. So I covered their check and they could pay me back later. There’s an ATM machine in the restaurant, but the fees to use it weren’t worth it.

If Mountain View suddenly turned into the North Pole, then Tied House becomes Santa’s house! It’s off the main path but still near the action, and the inside ambiance is the perfect setting for a relaxing time to spend with friends. Food & Drink — I had the half-size of nachos($ 7.85) which can feed two people easily and a Raspberry Wheat($ 5.50). Nachos were standard bar food on quality but I did enjoy it along with my beer which was quite nice. As for the rest of the menu, most options are $ 10 – 14 and are common entrees to be found breweries. Ambiance — It was a Tuesday night and maybe not so busy, but it was enjoyable. There are Christmas lights and a tree, and something very unassuming about the place and all its guests. Service — Corrinne is an A+ server!!! I hope the manager reads my review to note this. From the moment she began to talk to me and my friend, we knew we had a good one. Corrinne is kind and chatty and gives you the feeling like you are friends. If she is your server here, you will have a lovely experience!

Freue mich schon…
