Great instructors, convenient hours, friendly atmosphere.
I am a kind of person who gets bored easily, and no amount of resolve will keep me on an exercise bike for an hour. With martial arts, there’s always a challenge, and something new to learn every time I come to class.
It also helps that adult beginner classes are offered at very convenient times, allowing me to get home from work, eat, decompress, and head over. Very reasonable pricing.
Best for last: Instructors are very competent and will take time to help you get your technique just right. In addition to the kempo karate training, the school also offers a variety of tai-​chi, yoga, and other fitness classes to help you get and stay in shape.
