Sadly, i have to give this place 2 stars over time. The pizzas when they have them are delicious and the pear gorgonzola salad is my fav but this place seems to always have problem. Either the registers aren’t working or the card machine doesn’t work. I’ve even come here during lunch rush hour only find a sign saying they’d be back later? What! Worst part is, if they state a daily pizza they should have it stocked not«I will 15 – 20 mins cause I haven’t started to make it» gahhh it’s pretty disappointing especially when I am craving the pizza. It’s definitely hit or miss.

Places on this block are dropping like flies and flipping equally as fast. When zpizza was here they were one of the few gluten free pizza providers. Pepperoni was good hot out of the oven but as it cooled it started transforming to something not so great. As long as you ate it hot right out of the oven it was decent, otherwise avoid. It’s too bad an option for Celiac sufferers is gone

This was an Ok pizza in a crowded market of thin pizza, but rumors are **** Blue Line ****(for the train in Chicago) will move in soon. Mtn View finally gets a real Thick Pan pizza.

I was very surprised with how GREAT this pizza was! They advertise themselves as a healthy pizza place and I thought all of the ingredients tasted delicious and FRESH! The crust was crunchy and held up the pizza, and it wasn’t too thick or thin. We ordered the napoli, santa fe, and the california pizza. The napoli was definitely a classic, and the parmesan on top definitely made it quite tasty. The santa fe was also delicious(my friend LOVES cilantro so this was the one for him!) and the california was also great with the sausage addition on top! in terms of SIZING: Between 6VERYHUNGRY college students, we ordered 3EXTRALARGES and had about 1.5 pizza of leftovers… but the leftovers didn’t last very long in the fridge! Also just a side-note, one of my friends commented that she didn’t remember the pizza from this place being as good as it was when we went… which either means she has a bad memory or they’re inconsistent from place to place or time to tome… just to warn you!

If you’re downtown Mountain View, Z pizza is a place that offers fresh pizza and salads. Pros: Freshness: After a couple of bites, I was able to tell the ingredients were pretty fresh, especially their salads. And Z pizza is a pizzeria chain that focuses on organic ingredients. My favorite is the pear and gargonzola salad because of the candy walnut topping! Cleanliness: I’ve been to several pizzerias where seating is limited and dirty, but this particular location is clean with plenty of seating. Service: Service was fast and friendly! Cons: Price: Even though pizza by the slices are cheap, pizza’s as a whole is on the pricier side. Overall, Z pizza is good place to get non-greasy pizza that uses fresh ingredients.

This place has potential. I first visited the branch in San Francisco just south of Market Street and was surprised by how good their pizza was. The Mountain View Branch isn’t quite as good. First, the slices of pizza here are small, even compared to the SF branch. The crust is not crisp and they always seem to be out of peporoni, though they have lots of other pizzas that nobody seems to order. The customer service here is good, the employees are friendly and the seating is clean and nice. However they do not offer Wifi as Unilocal says. Kind of a bummer. Even the SF branch offers Wifi. There is free google wifi but you can only access taht if you sit outside. Please, improve your pizza a bit, make it more like your SF branch and add Wifi. I would be happy to re-review and improve this rating. Like I said, the atmopshere is good, the setting clean and the employees helpful and friendly.

i stopped by for a super late lunch and was happy to see they still had quite a few varieties of slices available. i opted for the slice of provence($ 2.98), which had artichoke hearts, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, capers, and fresh basil. size-wise, this was a standard slice of pizza. i really enjoyed my slice as all of the ingredients tasted very fresh and were seasoned just right, definitely better than your average pizza chain. note that they have 2 speciality pizza flavours of the day, in addition to their standard selection. they also offer gluten-free options. there is plentiful seating inside, the right side is mainly tables and chairs, and the left side is mainly booth-style seating. i thought these were clean and well-maintained.

I’ve tried two pizzas here, both the curry chicken & yam as well as the pear & gorgonzola. The restaurant itself looks fine, nothing wrong with it. There are rows of tables lined up leading up to the counter, where you can place your order. The tables themselves are simple, wooden tables with wooden chairs seated at them. There is a decent amount of seating, and it seemed that there is enough that if you want to eat there, you can. That said, I got mine to go, and it seemed like a lot of other people took that option, too. At the counter, service was friendly enough. There’s not much to say; they took my order, they moved on to the next customer. The interaction was pleasant enough. Both had interesting flavors, but neither one of them was quite flavorful enough to earn more than a four-star review from me. In particular, I was a little bit surprised that the pizza with gorgonzola on it didn’t have a stronger flavor to it. Come to think about it, I’m also surprised that the curry didn’t have a stronger flavor to it, either. Overall, it’s a good enough option, although I do with their was a bit more pizazz in their pizzas.

This place offers yummy thin crust pizza for those looking to satisfy their pizza craving in downtown Mountain View. I would rather come here then Amici’s because their prices are better and they have a healthy selection to choose from. They offer pizza by the slice if you’re dining alone, but they do not offer any of their«Zpizza Creations». I would suggest ordering a whole pizza because their Z Creations are pretty tasty and also healthy. It only takes about a 15 minute wait before your order comes to you. I love thin crust for this reason. The best thing about this place is the abundant use of toppings for each pizza. They go the extra mile to make their pizzas feel healthy with their use of fresh ingredients. Who doesn’t love sliced tomatoes, artichokes, onions, olives, or even mushrooms? My faves: Provence ZBQ

One of my fave pizza places in the South Bay. I love thin crust pizzas so much more than thick crusts! If you agree with me, you’ll love this place. Z pizza only uses organic healthy ingredients, so that’s even more incentive to support them. They even have gluten-free crusts available if that is what you’re looking for. My favorite has to be the gorgonzola salad pizza or mushroom pizza. Thin crust + white sauce base = heavennnnn! They also have a huge array of unique pizza toppings and combos for your selection. I live in Sunnyvale, and I usually order by phone, wait 5 minutes or so, and then immediately drive to the Mountain View location to pick up. By the time I get there, my pizza is always ready. Service is friendly and my pizza is always super delicious. Since there is no Cheeseboard in the South Bay, this is definitely my go-to place for thin crust pizza!

Ahhh Z Pizza. Thanks to the Val-U-Pak coupons I so gratefully receive in the mail each month, this has become our go-to Mountain View pizzeria. Many of those who dislike this place are just doing it wrong. 1. You’re paying too much. This place markets themselves fantastically online and in the mail. Take advantage! 2. You’re getting a gluten free pizza. I never understood celiacs with a carbohydrate obsession. Go eat a salad. 3. You’re getting it to-go. If you’re going out for pizza, go out for pizza. Take an hour, enjoy the ambiance, and get a hot, fresh slice of ‘za that hasn’t been sitting in a box for the half-hour it takes to drive home. 4. You’re boring. Why are you ordering pepperoni-and-cheese when you have a plethora of organic, fresh veggies at your pizza-gorging disposal? Get past the Chuck-E-Cheese days and go crazy. I recommend the ZBQ and the Mexican. You can’t beat having fresh avocado on a hot crust, and their BBQ sauce is spectacular(more sweet than smoky, but amazing). The place is spic-n-span, the kids working here are great, free refills with the soda fountain, and hot jams bumpin on the in-house stereo. Sexy location right on Castro — you could even Cal Train yourself there. No reason not to go — so try it!

I was very pleased with the service and the food.

My boyfriend stumbled on this place after dropping me off at the caltrain station and discovered how tasty it is! We are big fans of thin crust pizza so before I boarded the caltrain one Friday evening we dropped by here to have an early dinner together. They have two special pizzas per day where they serve slices. Other than that you have to order a whole pie to get some of their fancy topping pizzas. Lucky for us Fridays are the Napoli!(homemade roasted garlic sauce, mozzarella, fresh pounds of tomatoes, Parmesan, and basil.) They add the basil after you order. Overall the pizzas are thin crusted but the toppings feel a bit more heavier and savory than other healthy and organic pizza joints I have been to. I believe 4−6pm is happy hour. We got 4 slices of pizza for around 8 bucks. Good deal! You order up front, pay, and bring a number to where you want to sit. Plenty of indoor seating, a couple outdoor tables. A person will bring your food. They offer 5 different seasonings from Parmesan to garlic powder. Soda dispenser so I assume free refills. Two bathrooms in the back– one male, one female. Wouldn’t mind coming back.

If you have to eat pizza for food you are in trouble. There are better choices out there. z pizza is better than dominos. like round table pizza quality. they have some flavors which are better than the standard typical sausage, onion, bell pepper, mushroom, pepperoni combo like a tomato basil cheese combo. Their food gets tiresome very quickly. Same menu. Used to use them for events. Got tired of cheap high margin bad for your body food.

Brought a group of my coworkers(6 total) here on a Friday. Good thing we made it before the lunch rush because the place filled up fast. Four of us decided to share an order of an x-large pizza with half zbq and half thai. The zbq consists of bbq sauce instead of tomato sauce, some chicken, cheese, onions and corn. The thai contained peanut sauce, bean sprouts, cilantro and carrots. Both were good but I liked the zbq more since it felt more like a pizza than the thai which tasted more like an asian cuisine. Between the 4 of us, we had 3 slices each which satisfied all of us. We all agreed it was the proper amount. The other two decided for a custom vegetarian large pizza. I had the pleasure of eating the final slice since they were too full to eat it. I myself was full but for the sake of reviewing, I stuffed it down my throat. It wasn’t too shabby but I still question what veggies were inside. I personally would recommend fellow Unilocalers to try the zbq though. BTW, I realized that the ingredients are organic and the dough gluten-free. I guess that’s bonus points for people with special needs.

Came here for dinner with a friend and we each ordered individual sliced pizzas(6 slices). I ordered the Mediterranean pizza since I’m on a Greek food rampage now and we waited about 20 minutes for our pizzas to come out. It was busy for a Tuesday evening at 7PM. All the seats were taken with families and couples on dates. My pizza was okay. It was very healthy tasting. I used the Tapatio sauce because it was a little too bland for my liking but it was still good. I had a slice of my friends pizza and it was okay to me too. Since we ordered separately, each of our tabs was over $ 10 which qualified us for a free slice of apple pizza! I didn’t know this until my friend told me she was offered it. Where was mine? Boo! I asked the waiter after he brought out my friends pizza and he said I would get one too. Nice! It was very heavy. The flavor that lacked in my pizza was all in the apple pizza! It was really good but after eating half, I couldn’t continue. I knew it had to be bad in the unhealthy stick to my hips sense and boy, I’m not working out for nothing! A really clean establishment and really nice service. It’s cool since they have rotating«pizza slices of the day» listed on the wall. I think they have a deal for $ 6– two slices of pizza and a soda. What a deal! Good place for pizza that isn’t exactly thin crust but also isn’t your normal pizza crust width either.

Z Pizza in Castro has become my new favorite pizza place. I visited the quaint pizzeria in Castro and decided to have two slices of Napoli. My pizza was tastyyy like woah– fresh ingredients, flavorful, crispy thin crust, and big quantities. Pros — The thin crust is awesome… crispy, fresh, and flavorful. — The ingredients are very fresh and healthy. — The service was efficient and fast. — The restaurant has a nice interior. — The lunch special is good value. — The restaurant offers a wide variety of pizzas. Cons — Although they have a good variety of pizza, it would have been nice if they had other side dishes like fries, buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks, etc. — The location is a little far. I wish they had a Z Pizza in San Jose. Conclusion Z Pizza is definitely a must try for pizza! I strongly recommend it :)

We came in with a group of 8 for dinner on a Sunday night. There was plenty of room inside, so we were able to push together some tables for our party. It turns out that 3 medium pizzas was the perfect amount for our group. We ordered: *Santa Fe: chipotle pesto, mozzarella, chicken sausage, red onions, corn, serrano chilies, tomatoes and cilantro *ZBQ: BBQ sauce, mozzarella, bbq chicken, roasted peppers, red onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and sweet corn *Italian: pesto, mozzarella, ham, artichoke hearts, tomatoes and black olives I have to say that I enjoyed all of them, but the Santa Fe was my favorite. I liked how the pizza wasn’t too heavy so that I didn’t feel weighed down afterward. Aside from them bringing the pizza to you, everything else is self serve(utensils, drinks, etc). Service was quick and dinner hit the spot, so I will definitely come back to try the other pizza creations.

If you’re a fan of pizzas, this low key joint is definitely worth a try. Not only does this place have healthy vegan options, it’s also tasty. Try the Moroccan rustic pizza with basil pesto, caramelized onions, eggplant, mozarella and pine nuts on a thin, light crust. The crust is like a cross between a French baguette and flat bread for the chefs to dress up with your ingredients of choice. Their menu is simple with starters such as the pear and gorgonzola salad. However, everything is made in what seems to be a great balance of taste, nutrition and dietary preferences with minimal grease. The staff is friendly and parking is ample in the local outdoor garages. The décor and ambiance is plain in between a sit down restaurant without frills and a fast food joint. However, the bright lighting helps liven up the place. Therefore, I can’t think of any reason why you shouldn’t try Z Pizza!

My cuzin Reese is a «woman of leisure».(as my aunts have called her) She gets to hang out, go to festivals, museums, and takes photos of just about anything and earns a living doing so. She’s also quite the Unilocaler. Reese! are you reading this? My sister and I went to Z pizza today to check out her photo show.(well, the company sponsored photo show that is) A whole row of framed creativeness hang on one side of the wall at Z pizza. Reese’s photo is at the end, the one entitled: «Daily Commute». Look at it. Buy it. It will change your life.(or at least, won’t look at a BART train the same way again) As for the meal we had here? fresh pear and gorgonzola salad; delicious marinara sauce on al dente penne pasta with meatballs,(the tomatoes are on the sweet side) and the pepperoni pizza that I got? crispy thin crust with perfectly melted cheese. Watch out, it’s served really hot, the kind of hot that when it hits the roof of your mouth, a piece of skin might just come of. And you think that those sliced pepperoni pizzas were just sitting there under the heat lamp. They heat it again before bringing it to you!
