Decent service, our waitress was really nice on a busy Sunday morning. My dad wanted to make some substitutions on his order and she was able to help us with that. As it picked up, I could tell that people were waiting longer to place their orders and get service, but we didn’t have any problem at all. Food came out at a decent time and overall had a good experience. Great place for what you expect. Also good for large parties and for children. Brings back a lot of childhood memories too!

I absolutely love Cracker Barrel, but this was by far the worst Cracker Barrel I’ve ever been too. Food was awful, service was so slow, she was so inattentive and made it know she was trying to get us out. There weren’t that many tables so I’m not sure why it took 30 minutes to get food when we were the only ones ordering. Very disappointed do not go to this location.

I’ve been a Cracker Barrel fan for years. But this location just can’t get it right. Today was the last chance. Over easy eggs were fried hard. Bacon raw. There are too many better options for breakfast around.

Growing up I did always enjoy this restaurant. This one on the other hand not so much. Very very slow service and the food was dry. Seemed very disorganized. I know older people and random tourists will always eat here but if you can avoid it please do. We only came here because we had a gift card.

Tis the season… love to look for different unique gifts, for holidays… and so enjoy these gift shops… Use to the awesome folks at all the Cracker B. gift shops around East TN… Haha… NOTATTHISONE!!! Wanted to take my items back and leave… but dang… not gonna let a sour soul ruin my giving spirit… it was obvious that she was miserable… I tried to kill her with kindness… but her arrogance got worse… and I had to bite my tongue… I did… and thought in my head never will I come back… her rudness was unbelievable…

Basic Cracker Barrell high quality food. The service I got was below par for Cracker Barrel but not bad. I would recommend this location and I assume I just got a waitress having a bad day.

If you like a noisy place, that serves bland cheap food, then Cracker Barrel is for you. Yes i know it’s suppose to be good old down home food, but it’s not. The service is ok, many hard working servers moving with a fast pace. Food was just ok, scrambled eggs were bland and tasteless, gravy also bland, chicken biscuit tasted like from frozen food of grocery store, and hashbrown casserole was like a rice casserole with too much sauce. Nothing here to make me want to come back. Then when it’s time to pay, you have to run out the maze of candy, food and gift displays to get out. Blah, not worth it. Next time I’m going to Acme Lowcountry Kitchen instead on IOP, much better place for food.

Good food, good price. You always get what you ask for, no surprises. The service you get spends on the server. Most are very good. If you want stick to your stomach food, this is it. The best part is the store. You can find candy that you knew as a kid, although much more in cost then when you were a kid. It’s a great place to visit and eat. Frank G

This Cracker Barrel is always good. Food is always hot and fresh, coffee taste amazing, and the servers are friendly. They get pretty busy on Sunday mornings but it is worth the wait. Two favorite dishes: Smokehouse Breakfast and Catfish Platter.

We love Cracker Barrel. Everything that you can get at a cracker Barrel is tried and true to the brand. If you have a problem just let the manager know and it will be fixed right away.

I am a fan of Cracker Barrel restaurants, and look for them when I travel. But this is my least favorite Cracker Barrel, ever. We have learned to be very specific when ordering, since we like our eggs with the whites completely done and our bacon extra crispy. Our eggs came very runny and the bacon was barely cooked. And they were completely out of biscuits! Seriously? How does a Cracker Barrel run out of biscuits? Our complaint is completely with the kitchen and not our waitress. She was very nice and very apologetic. Her manager was also very helpful, and took my wife’s breakfast off our bill.

Food was OK. Service was very slow in Sunday morning. The waitress actually forgot part of the order.

My coworker and I love the Cracker Barrel and we’ve been to the one in North Charleston a couple times. We decided to go to this one on our lunch break recently. We only had an hour for lunch. We walk in and realize that there’s 2 groups of people waiting in front if us. We finally get seated and within 10 mins a waitress come to our table to take our drink order. And since we only had an hour for lunch we looked at the menu online before leaving, so we already knew what we wanted. We gave her our drink and food orders. She then took the order for the table behind us and the one behind them. And she took another table’s order in the middle of the restaurant, they were super pissed cuz they still had their menus on the table so we figured they’ve been sitting there awhile waiting to give their order. While she was taking this tables order another waitress grabbed our order from her. By the time our order got to the kitchen it had been 20 mins. In this time our drinks had not been refilled. And we didn’t receive our meals for another 20 mins by this time our drinks still haven’t been refilled and we decided to just leave once we got our food. She neglected to give us our check. At this point we told her(for the second time) we wanted split. She told us then it’ll take another second. We were already ready to go. We boxed our food and had our purses on. She comes back 3 mins later with our checks. We go to the cashier and explained that our service was awful. We found out that the initial waitress took our table when it wasn’t hers. She apologized for our terrible service but it didn’t make our service any better and it wasn’t her fault. We are never coming to this one again. We get great service at the N. Charleston one.

Rough night at this Cracker Barrel! We showed up around 7:45pm. It wasn’t busy and nobody was waiting in front of us. Host proceeded to take us to a table. As we were walking, I was wondering where we were going to sit as most of the tables that were not occupied by diners were occupied by dirty dishes and trash that had not yet been bussed. Our server Dylan greeted us, took our drink order, and accidentally knocked our silverware off of the table. This would be the last time we would see Dylan for a very long time. Another server brought our drinks – 2 waters and a tea. However, I wish he had told me to drink my water slowly as this would be the only glass I would receive during my entire visit. Eventually, a female server(who seemed to be the only person working hard this night) dropped off new clean silverware for us. After a while, Dylan showed back up to take our order. Another lengthy amount of time passed by, and the man who appeared to be the manager brought our dinner out to us – well, most of it. My son ordered breakfast and received his entire meal. I ordered chicken, but all I received at this time were the 2 sides I had ordered. I had asked for cheese grits, but only received plain grits. My second side was okra. The bowl literally was only half full and the okra was tough and at best, luke warm. I was told that it would be another 5 minutes on my chicken. My husband ordered French toast, and really wanted maple syrup for it before he started eating it. He asked the manager for maple syrup, and the manager replied that he would get some. So my son proceeded to eat his meal. I ate my 2 sides. My husband ate his bacon and eggs but was waiting to eat his French toast so that he could sop up syrup with it. 20 minutes later, Dylan FINALLY came by the table to see how things were. I explained that I still would like my chicken and that my husband still needed maple syrup. Dylan didn’t seem very concerned as he moved on to the table behind us and proceeded to take their order. My son was now done with his meal, while we were still trying to get ours. Eventually Dylan went back to the kitchen, found my chicken and some maple syrup. When he came back to the table to bring these items, we asked again for refills on the drinks. Also, since my son was now waiting on us to eat our main courses, we ordered dessert for him. A different server showed up with a tray full of drinks, none of which were ours. I pointed to the table behind us, but mentioned that we needed refills. He did bring the tea pitcher and my husband got a refill. However, our other 2 glasses of water still remained empty. Meanwhile, we proceeded to eat the rest of our dinner. My husband said that the French toast tasted like it had been cooked in old grease. I said, «well, if the trashy dining room is any indication of the kitchen, then the kitchen was probably nasty too.»(Remember the unbussed tables I mentioned in the beginning? They were still unbussed and as diners left, more tables were left dirty. I really wish I had taken a picture!) Now we had finished our meal, but my son had not yet received dessert. We reminded Dylan of this. He also asked«would you like a refill?» Really??? Did you forget that I’ve only asked several times and been on empty for most of my meal? But I guess he was merely only asking if I wanted it and was not saying that he was going to get it because he never did. However, my ice melted eventually, and I sucked that down. Dessert finally came to the table. A bit later, Dylan came to the table and asked if he had dropped off the check yet. When we answered no, he left it and awkwardly said, «sorry about everything that has happened tonight.» We left to pay and as the cashier was ringing us up she asked if everything was ok. Evidently, she really didn’t care because when we made it very clear that everything was not ok, she didn’t flinch, apologize, or ask any questions. She only continued to ring us up. We did something that we have not done in a very long time. We always reward good service with at least a 20% tip and even mediocre service will earn a 15% tip from us. But on this night, we left a big fat zero. Worse service/meal we have had in a very long time. We will most likely not be going back to this Cracker Barrel ever again. We are locals and have been to the Cracker Barrel in North Charleston plenty without any issues. That is most likely where we will go the next time we would like to eat at a Cracker Barrel. We almost told the people waiting for a table to go somewhere else if they were hungry and thirsty, but we did not.

Formulaic Cracker Barrel that is EXACTLY the same as any other. Same store full of things that collect dust. Same hostess stand. Same menu. Probably the same waitress. Same prices. The only two things that are slightly different is that the store faces Highway 17 but the parking is all on the side which seems odd. And it’s not right next to the Interstate — every other one I’ve ever seen is immediately next to an Interstate exit where this one is a mile or three from I-526.
