Recently went to Eggs up Grill. It was a lovely clean place where… You got it… Eggs were the mainstay. You can have your eggs any which way you like. They also serve waffles, pancakes, fresh fruit, cereals, grits and a whole bunch more. They have a new menu and a pretty varied selection. Overall it seemed a relatively healthy eatery. I would have liked to have seen a greater selection of baked good and perhaps a selection of fresh breads as opposed to the white or wheat sandwich bread that is served. Coffee was ok. The restaurant is clean which is über important to me. Overall, a great place to eat with super warm staff that make dining here a pleasure.

After reading several reviews from a few years ago I will admit, I was skeptical. I have lived in Mount Pleasant now for almost 2 years and today was my first visit. First off, they were fairly busy but we were seated immediately. Our service was excellent throughout the entire dining experience. Our server, Ryan, was very upbeat, polite and spot on in my mind when it comes to what you want from a server. So for service and wait time I would gladly give five stars. Now on to the food. My meal was excellent, it was cooked properly and tasty. The only issue I have here is that for the price, the portions are not very much.

Solid breakfast. A few mishaps including getting home fries when I ordered grits(took a few minutes to correct). Not my favorite breakfast place in the area, but I’d go back. ;-)

My poached eggs and corn beef was fantastic! Service was friendly and quick… exactly what you’re looking for at breakfast.

Would give a half star if I could and that would just be for the fact that they were open. Service: Terrible Food: late, cold and average quality The fact that I can choose to never go back: Priceless

Called ahead to see if they had gluten free pancakes because we have learned our lesson on menus saying a place has gluten free. Showed up 15 minutes later, waited 15 minutes for a table. NOGLUTENFREEBATTERLEFT. Apparently they ran out 15 minutes before we got there.

One star for service. Our waitress was very polite and sweet. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs. The hash had the consistency of dry wall spackle and it was insanely salty. Horrible! It had scrambled eggs on top. They tasted like eggs. The toast way to thin and soft, almost soggyish. Home fries were just bite sized pieces of potato. Not crispy what so ever. I ordered a side of bacon. It was 4 pieces that were cold and limp. Also zero crunch. The bacon was 5 dollars! The prices here are laughable. I absolutely will never be back. I can’t comprehend how they could have return customers. 55 bucks for 2 adults and a child. Ridiculous!!! You can buy 324 eggs for that much money at your local grocery.

Had to wait close to an hour before being served. When meal did arrive the portions were small. Not impressed. Will not return.

This was awful, but to be honest it just wasn’t that good either. I had the Mason Dixon — two eggs over easy with biscuit and gravy and home fries. I subbed bacon for sausage patties. The eggs were cooked fine but lacked seasoning. The potatoes were somewhat soggy and greasy but had a decent flavor. The biscuit was dense and it was sliced in half and grilled. The dark roast coffee was very good. Overall, service was very friendly but slow. I can handle waiting for a table but our food took about 30 minutes. Again, not terrible but not great either.

I wanted to give Eggs Up a better review because I am from the Myrtle Beach area and the original Eggs Up was started there. I’m not quite sure what the deal with this location is. Sometimes I visit and they are super quick the food is bad. Other times the food is good, but the wait times take forever… I’m talking like 45 minutes to an hour. It always seems like they either have a lot of wait staff and not enough cooks or vice versa. Most of the time the food is pretty good, probably the best thing they have is Coffee. The coffee to me taste 5 star, I drink it black and it has full flavor and I have often purchased a bag when I’m leaving. The biggest thing I think that would help is to get a clear direction and purpose from management and really work on wait times. Those two things seem to be lacking and if fixed, the people in Mt. P will keep coming back.

The most awful and overpriced breakfast I’ve ever eaten. Seriously. How can you screw up breakfast??? Prices were ridiculous for what you get. Save yourself a trip and go to iHop or Waffle House.

Stopped in for a simple 2 eggs, sausage, coffee toast. $ 12.00 bill. And that was without a single request to refill my coffee. Service was inattentive, not knowledgable about food on menu. Pass on this one, more value at mcdonalds and better service and food at other area morning places.

Stopped in for Sunday breakfast after church today and was seated in less than a minute. Our waitress brought us coffee in about 5 minutes, and we then ordered our meals. That’s the good part. Though not crowded at all(about 60%) we waited between 25 – 30 minutes for our breakfast. Servers came by 3 times offering to refill our coffee cups and stated our meals would be out shortly. The last time we were here on a very busy Sunday, we waited 1 hour and 13 minutes for breakfast with our waitress apologizing numerous times about new help in the kitchen. So that’s it, 2 strikes and you’re out. You lost some more customers today EUG — if management is even reading these reviews, they should be taking immediate action, or soon your doors will close.

Food is not that great and management is horrible! I had a birthday coupon for a free breakfast or lunch and the owner would not honor it because it was past my birthday! Not so hot on the integrity! I would not give them my business or recommend!

We were told we were in for a 10 to 15 minute wait. 40 minutes later we sat down. As we were giving our orders to our waitress, another waitress came to our waitress and told her the kitchen was too backed up and to not submit any more orders to the kitchen. Our food actually came out after a reasonable time and the food itself was nicely done Food was very good. Overall experience was marginal

Ok here we go… what a cluster f. The wait is 45 min because the kitchen is so backed up that they had to stop taking orders. You are seated and have to wait to give your order… this place needs a major overhaul in how this establishment runs… hostess just came up… another 30 min wait. We are out… bye bye eggs up,

Unilocal star ratings suck, that said. Service: F, Food: D, Price: F, Coffee: F Don’t know what the one reviewer was talking about good coffee, it was pretty bad. Waited several minutes before being approached. Got coffee(bad), ordered, couple sits down next to us after about 20 – 25 minutes and there food comes out(well half of their food) in a few minutes. Finally inquire and we get our food in a few minutes. About 35 minutes total, guess they don’t need to turn tables as their pricing sucks, 2 people 27.17 for one egg sandwich, one omelette with a side of sausage(almost $ 5 on the bill). Omelette, not fluffy, basically scrambled eggs with raw onion, green pepper, and two mushrooms even thought it was listed first on the ingredient list. World Famous Potatoes– flat out suck, half were raw, they were dry without any seasoning. take some of the raw onions and peppers from the omelette and fry them up. Sausage: for $ 5 pathetic flavorless like it had been sitting in a buffet warmer Overall, avoid this place. Can’t see how they are surviving.

There are some downright hellacious reviews for«Eggs Up» that almost dissuaded me from going. But, I decided to check it out as it is close to where I live. I didn’t find anything particularly stellar about it, but definitely didn’t find anything offensive, either. Basic menu, decent portions, good service. For breakfast, that is all I require and got it here. I will definitely return.

Came here with my parents when this first opened; was kind of a big deal at that time that the far end of Mount P was getting a breakfast joint. I don’t remember loving it, but I certainly didn’t remember hating it either, so in the throws of holiday shopping a couple of weeks ago, and needing a spot I could duck into comfortably to dine by myself, I paid a visit. It pains me to write this because I wanted to love this place because it could have become my nook. Not to be… I was one of four tables right at noon. Should have been my tip-off, but I am seated by a gal who tells me that so and so will be right with me, and then.. .nothing.. . for like 10 plus minutes! I stand to put my coat on to leave and a voice shouts from across(kid you not) the entire restaurant: «are you ready to order?» I am now completely at fault for staying for what I could only have predicted would come next. Chicken salad on rye with tomato and a side of fruit — sounds easy enough, yes? No. Apparently not. After sending the plate back once, and with it reappearing wrong a second time, I could see why the place was empty of customers. And $ 15 later for that ridiculously difficult order and a cup of coffee, I am quite satisfied that I have NOT found my nook.

Breakfast was not my big thing. But I had a meeting with good friend for breakfast at Eggs Up Grill this morning. It was surprise how this amazing place was. The restaurant was kind a crowded when I got there. The service was very fast. Food was awesome. I ordered Bagel-wich and my friend got Three Little Deuces. It is about 10 minutes; the breakfast was ready for us. My Bagel-wich was a little big portion for me. I thought I won’t finish it. OMG, I finished everything. I liked the way the eggs wrap around beacons with melting cheese inside. Believe or not, It was amazing! It is so delicious. I let my friend try a bit of my Bagel-wich. His eyes were rolling. Looked around the place, I saw everyone so crazy for breakfast. It was a good experience at Eggs Up Grill. The menu is so many choices. I guess I have to come back here again.
