Candlelight Caterers

Candlelight Catering handled my wedding reception this past summer and I couldn’t have been more pleased.
I planned a reception in Pennsylvania from California, so I only had the internet to rely on to find a caterer. Truth be told, their lack of web presence made me nervous but they said they were willing to travel to my somewhat secluded location. The gem of this company is the owner, Tom, who spoke with me endless times over the phone about everything from references to food choices, to recommendations on space and supplies. He was so patient with me through the endless E-​mail and phone call arrangements!
We decided on a buffet style dinner with chicken piccata, roast beef, and kielbasa from the Signature Dinner Buffet options. We had a lot of vegetarians, so we opted for the ravioli, broccoli Normandy and scalloped potatoes… and it was all delicious.
Cathy and Carol set up and took down everything for us. They might be the sweetest ladies you will ever meet. You can’t get a more accommodating and helpful group of people to cater for you.

This is the only caterering service that I use in the poconos. My sister in law also started using them. The food arrives hot and on time. The quality of the food is exceptional and the staff is attentive and helpful. We have never had any complaints on the food or the service. I highly recommend this caterer.

I used this company for an entire week! Lunch & dinner every day! On time and HOT! They bring out everything you need including knives & napkins… i was even lucky enough to get a huge cake on the last day… they have great bakers too;)) Some dishes were better than others but I think that had to do with the amount of travel time it took for them to get to us… Reliable people. And very flexible with our groups schedule… I’d recommend them to anyone going to PA, Pocono Mountans

We recently had our wedding and used this company as our caterer. We were pretty disappointed on how certain things came out. We picked out an «herb stuffed chicken» it was the driest chicken I have ever had and the «stuffing» tasted like stove top boxed stuffing. There were roasted potatoes that were so over seasoned. There was a fruit and cheese platter which was broken up into 2 platters and the crackers weren’t put out until the 2^nd platter was almost gone. The food was also not very hot when it was served (it was buffet style). They cleaned up the food really early and some people who showed up a little later didn’t even get any food. We called the caterers the next day to let them know how we felt about the day and he didn’t really seem to care about what was we had to say.
