This has all to do with service & not product. I brought my elderly mother who recently had hip surgery in on a rainy, blustery day. She wanted to thank her caregivers at Lee Manor for a job well done with a big box of chocolates. After much difficulty helping her in and out of the car, she finally was in the store & with her walker, approached the counter where a youngish girl with short blonde hair was working on a Tuesday(June 10) afternoon between 4:30&5:00. She asked the girl for the box she wished to purchase & then asked the girl if there was an open box or picture she could she the contents to be certain that was the box she wanted to purchase. The girl said«No». and didn’t offer any further assistance. Heck, the display case was right there. She couldn’t just point out the types of chocolates that were in the box? So, my mother just finished her purchase & we left. Where are the sweet, little old ladies that used to work for Fannie May? To bad, hope this girl gets some training. For all the $$$$ they charge, customer service should be top notch.

I LOVECANDY!!! This is a candy girl’s dream!!! I always buy the gummy bears in bulk, and they have old favorites like zazza bars and candy buttons. I also have a sweet tooth of the sour belts and they have those in every amazing flavor.

I wouldn’t consider myself a frequenter of candy stores, but I ended up here with a small group for a «Chocolate Extravaganza Experience» that was donated by the store and purchased at a charity auction. Most people have probably had Fannie May chocolate, so what I’m talking about here is service. And on that count, the manager and employees at this store are unparalleled. You know that«FISH!» video about Pike Place Market that pretty much every company uses to train their employees on providing fun, dedicated customer service? They could make one here. We were there for a few hours and I swear you would’ve thought we were at a five-star hotel. The staff went completely out of their way to make our experience thorough, fun, and memorable, and they enjoyed doing it. Obviously when most people visit a candy store it’s simply to walk in and buy candy, not like the package we had, but I can tell you with certainty that if you visit this store you’ll find that in everything they do their customers are top-of-mind and it shows.
