We were at the restaurant on Sunday night and it was not too busy. The server was very attentive, took our order promptly and we did not wait long for our food. A great quiet atmosphere which I like. Definitely will go back again.

This has to have been one of the best meals I’ve had all year. Very nice atmosphere, servers were amazing and attentive. Truly amazing food! This is a nice hidden gem in Mukileto!

Had the most amazing pizza & lobster mac and cheese. Our waiter could not have been better. Also the lemon drop cocktail was one of the best I’ve ever had. My boyfriend and I’s whole experience was really great!

Me and the bf decided to not go here for a long time based on the reviews on Unilocal but one sunny day last week we took a chance and went in. The food was super yummy the waiters were nice and good at refilling drinks. We have been there 3 times now and even tbough its expensive we get great fresh food. they even have a patio which we enjoyed one sunny day. There crab cakes are SO good!!!

My drink took 20 minutes. The bus boy gave me sour cream instead of butter. The bus boy took half of my appetizer away from me without asking. He also tried to take half my entrée! What the heck?! Grabby jackass! FIRETHEBUSBOYS.(The waiter was fine) Anyway, food is good but overpriced, there are better options in the area for less. They made a decent Manhattan. The service is polite but inconsistent. I’ll try it again in a few months in the hopes that the bus boys have been retired.

Look. This place is weird. It is SO expensive and you are on the speedway. Expensive places– you pay for ambiance as well as the food and superior service. It isn’t Olive Garden… But it isn’t haute cuisine either. The service is fine. The food is just okay. And there is a lady at the front that yells too much. Mama Mia — not having it.

I’ve heard that Unilocal lets business owners who pay a premium move lower star reviews to the bottom. So, to avoid that happening with my true star opinion, I’m faking a 5 star in hopes it moves it to the top. I’ve been to Amici Bistro a total of 4 times now over the last 4 years. Each time being mediocre or less than in the service aspect. Servers generally seem to take their time and rarely visit your table. My fourth trip to Amici’s being last night really solidified my reasons for NEVER going back. We are a local couple that frequents all of Mukilteo’s restaurants so last night we decided to grab something close by. Amici’s looked a little busy but there were several open tables all throughout(they seemed to have an event going in the back room). We took one in the dining area in the front room. Hostess sat us down, set our silverware down hurriedly and poured some water. Maybe 10 minutes later she set bread down. ANOTHER10 minutes passes by and we still hadn’t been greeted by our server. I’ve never been to a restaurant that didn’t greet their table within 10 minutes let alone not after 20! **Important detail, an older couple came in about 5 – 10 minutes after us and sat in the bar area at a table. They were greeted immediately by the bartender. They even ordered their food before us because our server STILL hadn’t come to the table. They even FINISHED their meal before we finally gave up. The bartender noticed we had been sitting there with no help after she took the older couples order and asked if «Tobin» had helped us, we replied no and so she offered to take our order too; We gave it to her right then. After an hour, we had only seen the bartender once, when she dropped off a salad without a word. No «I’m sorry for the wait» or «Your food will be out soon, Sorry for the inconvenience». Nothing. After sitting there for a whole hour without a word of when our food would be ready or even spoken to… we decided we were too hungry to wait any longer. The bartender was back at the bar doing something with what looked to be receipts and I mentioned that I was sorry, but that we were going to leave because it had been an hour and we needed to eat. Her response was, word for word, «Yeah, you guys came in right during that event.». Again, no apology for the wait time, but instead almost blaming us for coming in at an inopportune time FORTHEM. Justifying not serving excellent service by blaming the event and my poor timing!?! As I walked back to my table to get my purse, she approached my Significant Other to ask if we wanted her to ask when our food will be ready. We replied no(considering she should have down that on her own, several times, over the last hour to keep us informed) and again she mentioned the event so my SO told her they need to learn how to better handle their restaurant. I live, eat, and work in the local area as well and recommend places to eat daily as a part of my job. That big event might have seemed more important as a group with a nice tip last night… but I can assure you Amici Bistro will no longer be on my recommendation list for my customers, family, or friends for as long as it is relevant.

Though this restaurant serves some decent food, I gave them 4 stars, because I feel their food is little too pricey for food that they serve. Food is great and so as the dining room’s atmosphere, especially when they play live music, but it’s over priced. I had better pastas and steaks for the price that they charge; but if you are looking for some decent restaurant, close by, that you can go with your date, then I would put this restaurant into one of your list. PS: their seafood pastas are really good and so as their filets.

Amazing place, I have loved this restaurant from the first visit. They have the most wonderful salads, pastas and pizzas. I particularly love their eggplant parmigiana, their house salad with balsamic vinaigrette and finally they do a wonderful smoked salmon pasta. I also love their house Chardonnay, it’s truly amazing. I think they have the best food in Mukilteo hands down. All their pastas are amazing, most of their pizzas too. If you want them to custom make a pasta for you they are so willing to work with you too to make sure you have a great experience. They also have wonderful soups at lunch time.

The male owner is gone and the female owner stayed. She was the good stuff and he was the bad stuff so if you had a bad experience before, try again. This is where my wife and I go for all special occasions. You’ll love it.

MEATBALLS! OHEMGEE! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Amici Bistro for a holiday work lunch with my colleagues, and boy oh boy, it sure it tasty! All I knew going in was… order the meatballs. But, I have to tell you guys, there are so many interesting and tasty-looking dishes on the menu. I ended up going with lasagna(because quite frankly, I love me some home-cooked lasagna) with meatballs on the side. I also ate about a basket of bread myself. Om nom nom. My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach, but I managed to put away the entire portion of lasagna… it was just that good. Very generous serving, smothered in melted cheese, with just the right amount of meat in the sauce. The meatballs did not disappoint. The service was outstanding for a large party during the holidays at lunch rush. Our waitress was friendly, quick to service, and overall did a fantastic job keeping our drinks and tummies full. I’d love to go back here for a date. It seems it would be super cute and quaint at night. Too bad I live so far away… and um, am single. LOL.

My job took us here for an early holiday lunch and I must admit the place inside visually is quite a site along with the people who worked there. The waitress who handled our table was very helpful and provided us with what ever we needed without even saying anything. So lets get down to the real deal, the food. The food was nothing over the top or spectacular, it was kinda like being at Olive Garden. I took the advise of other Unilocalers who have reviewed this restaurant and got the Lasagna which was good as well. For the price of $ 15? not so much…

My family and I have frequented Amici Bistro 5 – 6 times since their opening. We go there for special events(birthdays, out of town guests, after graduations) and have always been pleased with our dining experiences. Each of us has our own favorite dish to order and we seldom have ordered outside of our favorites!(Yes, they are THAT addictive!) For me, it’s the Steak Gorgonzola — a ribeye with sauce and a piece of wonderfully tastey eggplant on top– DE-LISH!(I didn’t know I liked eggplant until I ate it THERE!) We always order the Ravioli with cheezy dipping sauce for an appetizer, and a plate of Spicey Prawns in Olive Oil for starters. Next visit I just might order the Prawn appetizer over some linguini for my main meal. It’s THAT good! Yes, it’s a pricey meal, but we feel the atmosphere is worth it and the quality food defintely merits the higher-than-Olive Garden prices. We only drink water with our meals and never have room for desert after, so our total bill is usually quite affordable. We look forward to the next occasion to visit Amici Bistro with great anticipation to delight our tastebuds again.

Came here as part of an interview dinner. For appetizers, we ordered crab cakes and calamari. There were so many items on the menu but I decided to go simple and got the homemade spaghetti and meat balls. The crab cakes and calamari were nothing special. The meat balls were under cooked in the center. You can probably make better pasta for cheaper. The service was very good. Our table had 8 people and our drinks were always full.

I’m afraid I have to add to other unfavorable reviews. We checked out this restaurant at the recommendation of acquaintances who have had good luck in the past. This time, however, the waiter forgot to tell us about the specials and we waited a loooong time for our food to arrive when the restaurant was still half empty. The much praised Lobster Ravioli were not to my liking, some bites were tasty, others were too fishy. They were also covered with a thick and sticky cream sauce that is too heavy. The salad was good and so were the Manicotti, but really nothing special. For the overall quality of the food and service, the prices are definitely too high and the layout of the place is not very inspired. It’s also noisy. My recommendation: eat desert first(or only) — the Limoncello Mousse is very nice with its sweet and tart flavors.

The Food was good… service was horrible… I had the Fettucine with bolognese sauce. The portion was well sized and very tasty. I have had better, but this was pretty good. The waiter earned every penny of the 25 cent tip I left. For a $ 18 dinner I expect a bit more than McDonald’s service of taking my order and giving me my food. He didn’t ever bring the bread, and I only got a refill for my water when a busboy came by. The place was probably about the loudest Italian restaurant I have ever been in. There is a bar, that was rocking, that is not separated from the dining area.

When I do go into the little hamlet I choose one of two places. One star off for the price to amount of food you get, one star for the temperament of the owner which seems to be unpredictable at best. Stick to Italian dishes-it will be worth the wait. The squash soup when they have it will please the taste buds and leave you wanting more. The bread, garlic and vinager will only fill the hole. Resist the urge to eat too much of it before your dish arrives. The chicken fettacini is hit or miss. Ask for extra garlic. The coffee is pretty darn good. Desserts if fresh are amazing. The pasta dishes are the best in mukilteo as far as I can tell. Would not make special trip to eat there but if we are with in 5 miles we go if the Japanese place doesn’t get our attention first. Décor could use a boost. Bathrooms are utilitarian only. Tables are clean and the cloth napkins a great bonus.

We came here lunch and I was told it was a pretty good italian place. I was disappointed. I had penne with sausage. I like al dente in my pasta but this was more chewy than I like(think rawhide chew toys). It was a huge plate, I’ll admit, but quantity doesn’t win over quality for me. The staff was pretty courteous and funny, which pushed me to a two and a half star rating. But, they lost the half star because even though there were only two parties in the dining room, they sat us back to back.
