We ordered two different pastas and both were very mediocre especially for price close to $ 20 a plate. You will make the same pasta but tasty at home for $ 10 for two. Service is ok, not bad not good. Also tried ginger shiitake soup that was barely warm when arrived, tasted not bad though. And Caesar salad was pretty usual. My opinion is that this place is overpriced and overrated.

Gorgonzola ravioli and chicken Marsala were great — not huge portions which I appreciate. The service was quite good! Spinach salad was lightly dressed which was good — it didn’t need it with the Gorgonzola and apples.

Wonderful place! My co-workers and I had our Christmas dinner there and it was just perfect. They managed to accommodate 8 of us. The food was superb! I had the Gorgonzola pasta and oh my, was it delicious! Serving was more than I could eat. No problem, they packed it up for me and my teenage son devoured it. Service was on point-very friendly!

Owners Debbie and Shawn(they live in Mukilteo) make you feel welcome in their friendly, warm, inviting, family owned(my wife and I like to support small business owners since we live in Mukilteo) bistro. People dining at the bar and even the tables will strike a conversation with someone nearby. People returning to the Bistro usually stop to have a chat with Debbie and/or Shawn on their way in and perhaps some other friends as well on their way out. Shawn and Debbie frequently circulate among the patrons, sometimes even serving the meals and drinks. The menu has Small Plates, Soup/Salad and Entrees; there is something for everyone whether you want a big meal or just several small items or just a small snack. The food is excellent as is the service. There is usually a daily special or two in addition to the daily deals after 6:00PM. My wife and I really like the Manila Clams which, in our humble opinion, is better than several other seafood restaurants in the Mukilteo area. There is an extensive wine list to satisfy any taste in wine. They sometimes have specials on the wines. Beer drinkers, not to fret, Shawn has you covered with some draft Georgetown brews, i.e. usually Manny’s Pale and something else like the IPA or Pilsner. In addition there are also bottled beers available. You can order a variety of mixed drinks, cocktails and hard stuff. My wife and I will frequently have a glass of Port at the end of the meal. Parking is quite easy. Doc B

I’ve been quite a few times with my husband and with friends. Great place to meet friends out. Cute bistro tucked in the QFC shopping center. I wish they had more sweet white wines and a moscato, but overall great place to go out and it’s locally owned. Meals and appetizers are delicious and they’re now on the passport card, so buy 1 meal and get 1 free-you can’t beat that!

Great food, beer and wine. A must try is the Thai soup. The Bruschetta and caprese are delicious!!! Monday’s happy hour all night, well worth it. Attentive and great customer service, will definitely be back.

Surprisingly nice lunch entrée’s with excellent presentation. Wine by the glass from a short but high quality list, more variety in wine by the bottle. Pleasant and helpful proprietress. Definitely recommended! Don’t be put off by its location within a strip mall.

Much better food and décor/ambience with the new owners-Debbie and Shawn. Curry Salmon is amazing — usually a special. Bruschetta, cheese plate, flatbread, shrimp tacos, chicken tortilla soup, bolognese, salted Carmel brownie, etc. It is hard to decide what to order when we love it all. We visit once a week and look forward to it. Check it out!

Girlfriend and I went here just to try a new place and we were both pleasantly surprised by the amazing food and desert. Nice atmosphere as well.

Great little gem tucked away in a strip mall that belies the tasty food and wine inside. The inside is small and quaintly decorated with the light hint of Italy. The bar is a little big for the space, but the food and wine more than make up for it.

What a great find with Red Cork Bistro! I was greeted with a warm and friendly server who made us feel right at home. I had the lunch special ginger mushroom soup that was so fresh and yummy! I had the chicken pita sandwich that was delicious and took half home for later because the serving was a generous size. Plenty of parking and located next door to QFC so it’s easy to locate. I have been back with my friends and they are just as impressed with the freshness of the food and service!

My husband and I came here for dinner and we really enjoyed it! I am only giving four stars because of the location. It’s hard to get into the«romantic date night» mood in a strip mall. They should close the curtains to get rid of the parking lot view!

On an otherwise mundane Wednesday night, we found the Red Cork Bistro half-full, yet had to wait an hour from seating time to receiving our entrée(and about 30 minutes for our bruschetta appetizer). The bruschetta was quite good, but we found our pasta entrée + Italian salad tepid and flavorless; very reminiscent of ‘airplane food’(no doubt we we unduly influenced by our cranky mood by the time the food arrived). Otherwise, the staff was friendly and the ambience comfortable(although very exposed and ‘boxy’). I found the wine list much to be desired, Quite possibly, we stumbled into Red Cork Bistro the wrong night(kitchen staffing issue? — although our sever didn’t look stressed or concerned); unfortunately, we will not be trying our luck again.

My husband and I had dinner there a few weeks ago. Nice atmosphere and friendly waitstaff. The food was great as was the suggested wine. We look forward to our next visit!

This restaurant epitomizes why strip mall construction might be the #1 enemy of good food. I would NEVER stop here unless it had been for Unilocal.Next to a nail salon and a QFC(in a nice-r strip mall), Red Cork offers up good, solid food in a lovely atmosphere First reason this place did not get five stars: salt. Wow. A lot of salt in some of the dishes. Second reason: décor needs just a little bit of work. My mom and I came for happy hour and had a sampling of the menu: 1. Bruschetta: bread was a little thick, but the topping was fresh and delicious. The balsamic vinaigrette also tasted like it was of a higher quality. 2. Mushroom soup: This is what got REALLY salty but it was delicious! Luckily I like salty dishes, so I did not mind. The flavor of the soup, behind the salt, was complex, earthy and fresh. The basil on top did wonders for the heaviness of the soup. 3. Hummus: VERY garlicky but the pita was good. 4. Chicken Flatbread! DELICIOUS! Wine: We were lucky to have the Dreaming Tree Blend on happy hour and it was a very delicious wine and when we popped over to QFC after our dinner to pick up some(more) wine and a movie, we bought another bottle! Knowing the price of the bottle, though, I would probably have beena upset if we had paid full price. The entrees were a little spendy, especially given the location, so we were glad we hit the happy hour. Please do give this place a try.

This place made me feel at home… even though I was traveling very far from home! When traveling for work, sometimes sitting at a bar and eating alone can get old. But not here. The service was the friendliest I have ever had! The bar tender kept me company and shared great insight on the area. The owners came and personally introduced themselves. The chef even came out to deliver the food he made for me… Speaking of the food… It was yummy deliciousness! It was so good, I wanted the recipe to make it at home. Although its known that a good chef cant release his exact recipe, he told me enough to where I feel confident attempting it when I get home to my kitchen! Overall it was a fantastic dine-in experience. I suggest people to give it a try. Great wine, Great food, Great company!

You’re just piling on the miles along the Speedway here – either to or from the ferry, or maybe dealing with a long commute. This place is on the way to somewhere else, and the strip malls start to get pretty repetitive. There’s nothing that would make you expect that there’s a serious and adventurous little wine bar with some culinary background in evidence in the kitchen, but that’s exactly what Piazza’s is. They seem to have cultivated a little retinue of regulars, and deservedly so for sure. Plenty of parking. Inside, it’s on the small side, but that’s alright. Maybe 12 tables and a few stools at the bar. Couple of bartenders, small unisex bathroom back through the kitchen. The wine list is short but exactingly edited – two or three examples each for 8 or so reds and 8 or so whites. The tenders know exactly what to recommend for every taste, and they pull from all over the west coast and the rest of the world. They do a great job of pulling in good wines from wineries you’ve never heard of. The food is a similarly expert survey from appetizers through soup, salad, entrees, and dessert. They mix it up a lot, and always offer fairly adventurous stuff that not everybody else does well. Prices are fair, and service is super friendly and sweet. There’s everything to like about this place.

Every time we go to Piazza’s we love it. They’re one of the gems of Mukilteo. The owner is usually there and her staff is attentive and classy. The chef always remembers us and comes out to shake hands and say hello. We usually choose something from the specials board knowing that it will be special. We enjoy sitting up at the bar so we can chat with other wine sipping 35 and over locals and the staff. There’s a whole lot to like about Piazza’s. Excellent food, excellent wine, excellent people.
