It’s interesting that none of the images shared«steak on a rock». Seven years ago I had a wonderful experiential design firm out from Orlando Florida helping us design and integrate the new Dreamliner Gallery. I took them here for a steak and prawns served on a 700 degree lava stone served up with onions and peppers. A side of a baked potato with sour cream and butter and lots of fresh ground black pepper and of course a nice-cold Diamond Knot beer couldn’t be beat. Every time the MY Design Team came out they insisted on going there almost every night. Free peanuts with shells expected to be on the floor started the beer flowing. They only occupied the East side of the building just SW of the Mukilteo Ferry Terminal. Now they’ve expanded to the the West side with views of the lighthouse and now family dining. The menu has changed on this side at least. Very family friendly. The Steak on a Rock was down-played in the lower part of the menu. The first thing we ordered was my son’s favorite pepperoni and pineapple pizza. The first time with another business partner was awesome. The last time with my son, was, meh. The server the last time was very pleasant but no as responsive asthe last dozen times as I was there. Although it may be inconsistent on the food, the beer is always great and the food is good as well.

This is a great place! We have been here several dozen times and it can get quite busy at times. Nevertheless, that’s what happens a good pizza joints. My kids especially like making their own pizza before it’s baked. Great job!

ok service decently clean environment bad nachos good beer nice atmosphere bit on the pricey side have been there twice. shall not return because of «friendly» service and bad food experience… if you have something on your menu, take pride in making it and make sure your staff takes pride in serving it to customers. Being asked if i want a «complaint card» twice does not make it ok to serve it

quick update! had another yummy pizza here with my fiancé. We always get the lincoln. That being said… Naturally when my bday party rolled around I wanted to get it for take out to serve all my friends. I do have to admit that I wasn’t quite as impressed with it in to-go form. we got two larges to go. which came to 43 bucks(which I was willing to shell out because I have loved their dine in SO much) but I have to admit it just wasnt as good as the two times I’ve eaten in. The lincoln was a-okay I would say a b when it is normally an A. but the chicken parm was sooooo bland. I wouldn’t even say anything but for how much money we shelled out it was kind of a let down. Oh well still 4 stars because the dine in is mind blowingly good pizza!!! Will continue to come here for sure!!!

After spending time at Paul Allen’s Flying Heritage Collection, I really had the need for some good, locally brewed beer. I knew Diamond Knot was close by down by the ferry dock but I couldn’t remember if it was 21 and over because I had my 18 year old son with me. Go to the phone and search on Unilocal.Whoa! Diamond Knot Pizza House! Now we’re talking. It was late afternoon the Friday after Thanksgiving(Black Friday), the place was empty and the Apple Cup was on. We split a large Rancho Cucamonga pizza(I actually lived there at one time) and I had a Possession Porter. Pizza was excellent, beer superb, and the service was great. They also have sandwiches and salads and all the other great Diamond Knot brews. The place is cozy and warm inside and outdoor seating when the weather is right. I’m looking forward to coming back here again.

I have been going to this place for at least 10 years now, even when it was called Reily’s. The atmosphere is extremely casual and very friendly — in all the years I have gone there I have never had bad service. Their calzones are to die for and are large enough to feed a horse and then take ½ home. Their appetizers are excelent. This restaurant is part of the Diamond Knot brewery which is about 5 blocks away at the Mukilteo ferry terminal. Their beers are always interesting and quite good. I have never been here for dinner, but would recommend this as a great lunch destination for groups of 8 or less. Larger groups can be handled but end up being seated separately. One of my favorite places to eat.

Great beer. Mediocre service. It’s fine. I’d come here again for beer. Probably go elsewhere for food. The best part: Brown Ale. Drink the Brown Ale. Have more Brown Ale. De-licious. Kinda small, kinda funky. Like I said, if I were in the area, it’s a pretty safe bet. Of course, I’m never in the area, so we’ll see. Did I mention? BROWNALE! Remember, if they’re closing up shop, you can go down the street and have more Brown Ale! Thanks for listening!

they have awesome happy hour(aka Beer:30) here! everyday 2:30 to 5:30 $ 1 off pints and $ 3 wine an assortment of appetizers for cheap including one buy and one half off pizzas. this is a really family friendly place so feel free to bring the kids! i love the cute little barrel mugs they serve their drinks in! we had the half order size of the nachos($ 5.99) and the antipasto plate($ 5.50) with a variety of cheeses, bruschetta, meats and olives. it was actually a lot more food than what we expected but thank goodness for friends helping us. i didn’t have the beer here because we had already imbibed at two breweries prior to coming here so I just had a glass of their cabernet. service was great and the food was excellent.

Oh. My. God. This place had the BEST pizza I’ve ever had. Hands down. I ordered Da Greek which was PHENOMENAL. You know how some pizzas have way too much said and cheese so everything else is lost? On this pizza the toppings and sauce were perfectly balanced. And the thin crust was exactly the way I like it… Crispy and flavorful. Unbelievable. Will definitely be back. Not too mention it has a great pizza parlor meets bar atmosphere. Perfect for a sunny Saturday afternoon.

Fortunately, it was a nice, warm evening, and we were able to sit outside. We started by sitting inside, and were not too happy, as the music was far too loud. The beer, of course, was excellent. The Texas Chainsaw Calzone was great. It was very slightly doughy, but I sort of liked it that way. HOT. My 8 year old had the kid’s cheese pizza. It was boring, and she thought so too. The adult pizzas at surrounding tables looked better. It was happy hour, so the bill was a little smaller than expected. Service was prompt and friendly.

Pizza and beer go together like PB& J, salt and pepper, Bonnie & Clyde! Diamond Knot does, both, pizza and beer very well! The service is fast and friendly. The beer is great — the BF loves their porter, while I love their brown ale. We shared two thin crust pizzas, the Tuscano and the Supreme. Both were very tasty! The thin crust is crispy and the toppings are very flavorful. Of the breweries the BF and I have hit up this year for our weekly«Brew Date», DK Pizza House has had the best food. And while I understand that the Pizza House is not the actually brewery, it’s close enough =P You better believe the BF and I will be back for more pizza and more beer!

Great social venue, with great food and beer. Not fancy-schansy. just a really good tap selection, a good solid menu with enough variety that most can find something to like, unless you’re vegan.(but thats a self imposed limitation, can’t help you). Service is pretty good, we landed on friday evening and it was packed and there was a bit of a wait. They gave us pagers and we wandered around at the nearby lighthouse for 20 minutes till our pager went off. In spite of being totally slammed, our food arrived in a reasonable time and it was great. Next time I am in the Seattle area, I certainly will drop by.

This is an update to my prior review. Still a great and eclectic place to go. New bartenders extremely friendly, funny and outgoing. However, we went on Cinco De Mayo, and the amount of ‘hot stones’ used for cooking actually put me out of the bar a couple times for some fresh air. The smoke from the dozens of people cooking on the stones was harsh. They did have the windows open, but I suggest the bar get some overhead vents, since the ‘cooking’ is generally done in the main bar by the customers. Still think this place rocks though! Don’t forget to try the fruity and not too sweet hard cider on tap. Yum!

Even as a local, even as a beer dork, I totally flubbed my first attempt at rating this place. This is the pizza house. It’s up the hill, at 4th and Lincoln, in the little cluster of shops. The brewery is down the hill(four blocks away) at the ferry dock. What’s here is a quiet, tree-lined place that feels more like a reclaimed house than something built as a business, though it appears that it could have been purpose-built as a restaurant. There’s an oddly shaped dining room and a cool back deck. There are red-and-white-checked tablecloths and the staff flits about in constant motion at all times. It feels like a friendly neighborhood institution, which is exactly what it is. There are local historical photos on the wall, everybody seems to know everybody by name, and the celebration of the area culture and community is evident at every turn. What matters most here, though, are the beer and the pizza. DK beers are widely-enough available that you probably have your own opinion on them already, so rest assured that the kegs will be very fresh here and the lineup runs through 8 faucets, ranging from the hefe through the IPA to the Double IPA, with a few darker and lighter variations on the way. The pizzas and calzones are awesome, very hearty and filling, with great chewy dough. The prices are awesome, and you can get many meals for a very low bill. They have a thin crust option which I have yet to try, though I typically prefer a thin crust when it’s just me. Everything about this place is fantastic, though it doesn’t really have much to do with the fact that it’s a brewery, other than a great keg lineup. All the brewing is done at the two other Mukilteo locations. I highly recommend this place for a feast-ly pizza dinner. Mondays are«Kids Eat Free» night, so you might consider avoiding those unless you have kids in tow. The dinner hour is always two and a half solid hours of mayhem on Monday.

We eat here often on Mondays — during the ‘kids eat free’ events. If you don’t have children — avoid Monday nights at all costs. Food is great, including a ‘make your own pizza’ option for the kids. We like the many salads available too. I’d give it more stars, but the service is hit or miss. Sometimes we’ll get food for half our table, and wait 15 minutes for the others to be served.

3.5 stars. It is very down-to-earth place that you feel comfortable to come in with friends, family or just by yourself. Service was attentive and friendly. I had calzone which filled with plenty of cheese. I tried my friend’s thin crust pizza but it wasn’t that impressive. Pizza wasn’t cheap compared to other franchise ones like Domino’s but you get to enjoy humble local pizza. Dress down and come by to have pizza and a glass of beer or two during the day or after work. You will have good time. PS: They have happy hour. Call and ask for it.

The atmosphere is okay. It’s sort of small with a decent amount of outdoor tables, I think more than inside. No beef with the place itself. The pizza, however, is another story. We ordered the margherita and the basic pepperoni. Bland, bland, BLAND crust. I’m the type of guy who looks forward to the crust, and my plate was full of uneaten crust because it just wasn’t worth eating. The margherita wasn’t a margherita, it was crust topped with olive oil(I think), a MASSIVE amount cheese, and diced tomatoes. Maybe basil was there too, among the cheese disaster. Soggy, bland, worst«margherita» I’ve ever had. They need to rename it extra cheese and diced tomato pizza, because that’s all it is. Horrible. The pepperoni was better, but only because it had pepperoni on it. They’re not making this pepperoni in-house, so they don’t get any bonus points for this pizza having actual flavor. And because pepperoni isn’t watery, the crust was less of a soggy mess. Diamond Knot is a brewery. When I moved to Seattle in 2006, their IPA was a beer to remember. I don’t know if I was naïve to good IPAs or if their quality has taken a dive, but what I remember as amazing is now lackluster. Recap: The brewery makes mediocre beer and the pizza place makes mediocre(borderline bad) pizza. Conclusion: I’m pretty sure I will never order another Diamond Knot beer, and I’m damn sure I’m never coming back to their pizza joint. It’s unfortunate, because I really want to like Diamond Knot.

All the fanfare & maritime people go to the Diamond Knot down near the water, but I’d say if you don’t mind being a little further away from the water, give this location a try. It’s a little smaller, but it packs a punch into this space. If the weather is nice, do hit up the deck, but beware — if it’s super sunny, you can burn out there! Yeah, hard to believe, but it’s all good, just cake on the SPF, and drink a pitcher. The staff is totally awesome, if you’re a regular they’ll remember your name and your drink. Such a cool first experience. Solid 4.5 stars this time(but I’m sure it will jet up after repeat visits!).
