Elegant Nails

I went in to get French tipped acrylics. Nails turned out great. I’m giving it a 4 star because I didn’t feel relaxed during my visit. The nail technician didn’t give me much eye contact or asked me much through out my visit. Another lady (I think was the owner) was lounging on the pedicure chair watching a movie, didn’t care about me either. The atmosphere didn’t feel «spa-​like» I would come here again because it’s close to my house only if I needed a quick fix.

I have been going to Tina for 7+ years now. I’ve had my nails done by the other girl, the older one (I can never remember her name) & she does a good job, just takes longer. TIna is awesome! She always asks how my kids (6 & 4) are-​they come with me alot & they are always very patient w/​them-they’ve known my kids since before they were born ;). It can get a bit busy as there are usually only 2 people working so wait times can be long-​they will usually advise people of a better time to come back or that they’ll have to wait, but I’ve never had to wait more than 15 min’s w/​out some sort of heads up. I’ve had acrylics, pedicures & shellac done here as well as eyebrow wax (Tina did a nice clean up job for me-​just a few strays that had grown in). For a hole in the wall nail place they do great work & their massage chairs are comfortable. I have moved out of Mukilteo (this place was right down street from where I used to live & I still come back here from S. Everett because they always get my nails right)

The place is average, but the service was not great. The younger of the two technicians was pretty rough and caused two of my fingers to bleed. She didn’t apologize or say anything but put alcohol on it.
She kept the same towel from the last customer, who luckily happened to be my mom. I had to request a fresh one. She also didn’t spend a great deal of time cleaning the tools.
My aunt also went, and she was serviced by the older of the two ladies. She was much better and took her time to do things properly. We would only go back to be serviced by her.
