I have been going to Serene View Massage for more than a year now and wish there was a way to give a six-star review. Alyssa is an amazing LMP, the staff is funny, courteous and accommodating and they absolutely work with health insurance. Thanks to SVM, the impingement in my neck isn’t stopping me from all the sports I enjoy!

Love it here. I’ve been dealing with sciatic nerve pain and the massage therapist, Alyssa, I’ve seen regularly-is great. The environment in perfect for what it’s set up for; I’ve never had trouble getting in or out of the driveway, either. I’d highly recommend serene view and in fact, already have.

DONOTGOHERE! Horrible Customer Service, the owner and all staff refuse to work with Health Insurance. Owner is extremely rude. I have never dealt with a provider of complete ignorance like this. The owner refused to accept the fact that my Health Insurance has benefits for Massage Therapy even after speaking with Customer Service on a conference call to confirm! If he is going to provide medical services he needs to understand how to bill medical insurance. Additionally, there is nothing serene about this location. It is a rundown house in the middle of the woods, very creepy and smells horrible. I felt very unsafe driving in and out of the driveway. I would have never gone here if it wasn’t in the same town. I have learned my lesson; they will not get another dime out of me. My Health Insurance will cover Massage Therapists at much nicer and professional locations than Serene View Massage.

This is a wonderful LMP office. I work with Chad who has helped with my Fibromyalgia. I have less pain then I have had for years. He has also been using myofascial release which before working with Chad I had thought was some kind of voodoo thing. He has helped with my dizziness and my overall well being! The office is clean — they are prompt and the office staff is welcoming. I am with Group Health and some of the practitioners are covered. A wonderful place to come and take care of your body!

If you’re just looking for a massage without the frills and thrills, this is the place to go. Please note: there is no mention of the word spa anywhere in their name so don’t expect to walk into a relaxation sanctuary with water fountains, shower facilities, or aromatherapy. If that’s what you’re looking for, don’t go here. But if you don’t need pampering, this place is just fine. I had a great massage here. Brandon was recommended to me, and he did a really good job of tailoring the massage to my needs. I told him that I carry a lot of stress in my neck and shoulders, so I wanted more focus there, but I still wanted a full body massage. That’s exactly what he did for me. He didn’t talk during the massage except to ask how the pressure was(which is great — I hate when massage therapists talk to you throughout the whole session about anything unrelated to the massage.) I have absolutely no complaints about the massage. The music that was playing during the session was a little too lively for my taste. I would loved it if I were listening to it during dinner, but during a massage, I like listening to soft music. My only *complaint* is that the receptionist didn’t mention that the location was a little hard to find. I arrived late because I missed the sign for their driveway and so I got a 50 minute rather than a 60 minute massage at the regular cost of a 60 minute massage. It’s what I expected considering it was my own fault that I was late since I got lost. However, since the receptionist mentioned that I wasn’t the only one who usually missed the sign, I would have appreciated a forewarning so I could’ve given myself extra time to get there and thus be on time and get my full 60 minutes of relaxation. I would definitely come back here for a massage with brandon if I wasn’t in the mood for a spa(which does happen every now and then).

Full disclosure: the owner is my brother. That being said, I went to Shannon while I was visiting from LA because my neck was in such pain. Shannon was able in one visit to do more for my neck and shoulder than any of the therapists(have tried 5 and counting…) in Los Angeles. I suffer from chronic, low grade pain from repetitive movement from hours in front of the computer and if I lived in Seattle I would have a weekly appointment with Shannon. Your health is so important that it’s worth every penny to find a therapist that can help.

Serene View is located minutes from my office and I have been using their services for a few years now. Clean, serene, great service, very friendly staff, experienced therapists. They except most insurance, but beware that Regence has not contracted new LMPs for almost a decade. Serene view has 2 practitioners that are licences with Regence. Shannon is a miracle worker and has helped my back and neck plenty, too much time in front of the pc can be a killer, even with time at the gym and hot yoga. And just plain stress relieve is great.
