Visited the restaurant for the first time yesterday… Ribeye was amazing and tender however service was not so great… I think we had four different people wait on us… Not sure what happened to the first two but not bad enough that I wouldn’t give it one more try!

We visited this place for the first time last night. It’s a great place to eat not to mention that the prices are reasonable too. Our food was hot, fresh, and made to order. It’s definitely Tex Mex with a Cajun twist. The staff is friendly and knowledgable about the food on the menu. The restaurant is clean and very family oriented as well. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good place to eat and we will be back here to eat again. We love little places like this because they take pride in what they cook and cook it right.

Best Burgers in Murfreesboro! Surprised to discover this little eatery is so good at the end of the strip Mall across from Kelton’s. Huge, thick burgers cooked to your preference, fresh ingredients in abundance, spicy and mild choices, and soft fresh burger buns, not overcooked. Delicious battered fries, and roasted side items. Can see me craving for more in the near future!

One of our favorite small business restaurants to go to. A little Cajun spice if you want. Great basic burgers to. Gotta try the Fried Green Tomatoes.

I have been here many times. I live in North Murfreesboro, so it’s a hike to get there(not in milage, in traffic) but so worth it. I love the fish tacos, chicken boudin, and chili rellano, but the rattlesnake pasta is awesome, too. Anyone who comes to Murfreesboro needs to dine here.

We had dinner here with two other families. The food was decent, but unfortunately we had a terrible experience with the owner who accused two boys in our group of «toilet bombing» his facilities. Near the end of our dinner I found out that he had cornered them and called them«little f…‘s» and also threatened to «kick your ass». I was appalled at this, especially since two other adults had used the restroom before and reported that there were issues. I don’t understand how he could think that verbally threatening and intimidating minors would be acceptable. I tried to speak with him about this and ask that he approach one of the adults if he had concerns. However, he then he said we «need to leave his restaurant». I have never experienced anything like this. Needless to say we will never be back.

Well another unique place in Murfreesboro. Do you like spicy? Southwestern food. My family and I went there for Sunday lunch. This place was hopping. Nice casual vibe with a full bar in the back of the restaurant. The offer a menu with a lot of choices. We expected Mexican food, but it was more Southwest. They have salads, sandwiches/burgers, and various entrees. I ordered from a special menu. Not sure how often it changes, but I really like it when restaurants have a small special menu. I had Santa Fe Chicken. Grilled cajun chicken breast with black beans and rice. Great flavor and spice. My son had the Bang Bang Chicken Tacos. These were great. Chicken was a little dry, but they put a spicy sweet sauce that make these things yummy. My younger son had the chicken strips from the kids menu. They were large and quality. Pro tip: download their mobile app and receive a free entrée.

Probably the best burger I’ve ever had! The Mexico City burger does not disappoint! Queso was great and fried goat cheese salad was fantastic as well!!! Give this place a try!!!

In Murfreesboro for the weekend. This is a 5 star because the food was amazing. The server was very nice and attentive. The food though, one of the best meals I have ever had. I ordered of their weekly specials menu. It was a ribeye on top of a bed of mashed potatoes. I can’t remember exactly but man it was good. The steak perfectly cooked. Along with the meal we got an appetizer and I got gumbo. Did I mention that the food was amazing. Next time in in Murfreesboro I will DEFINITELY be back.

I really don’t have enough good things to say about this place! This is always where me and my boyfriend go when we want something ‘different’…like something you will not find on any other menu! It’s all so delicious and the spices on each plate just make every dish stand out! Props to the cook!

The feel of this place and the menu are a strange mix of Cajun and Tex-Mex that seem to work! I tried the queso(which has shrimp, crawfish, etc. mixed in) and it was delicious — for dinner I had tacos and another time the jambalaya, both were good. The beer selection is awesome and keeps us coming back. Service depends on who is working, sometimes we’ve had waitresses ignore us for long periods of time.

Easy to find and park, fast seating in an open area. Service was quick and friendly. Now on to the important stuff, the food! The menu is varied and included unique mashups and ingredient combinations. My Ultimate Burger was covered in 3 cheeses including a nice slab of smoked gouda in addition to some amazingly ripe tomato slices. The beef was a thick cooked-to-order patty that tasted fresh and made my day. It came with a side of «battered fries» that were very good with a light crispy layer of batter. A small salad could be added to any dish for $ 2.50, and the small Caesar we ordered was far from some of the small salads I’ve seen at other places. They have a nice selection of local and well-known beers and unlimited fruit tea refills as well. I saw some other items(Shrimp Po Boy and Bloody Mary Quesadilla in particular) that I will need to try on a return visit.

Great food. Took a chance and stopped at a local restaurant and wasn’t the slightest bit disappointed. The menu is all over but for the ideal person there’s something for everyone! Love the Boudin Stuffed Chicken! Perfect southern blend. If you’re in town check this place out!

Was referred by a coworker– actually wanted to go to the one off of Nolensville road but for whatever reason couldn’t find an address. Does it exist? If so– where is it? In any case– glad that I drove to the boro to go here– had to do some business so it worked out. At first glance walking in– you aren’t sure what type of food– but it was busy and smelled great. We asked our waitress what she would recommend and stated that anything we got– we would love. After our meal– I believe her. I ended up getting something I probably would never get, but my company was ready to order so I made a quick decision and went with the boudin stuffed chicken with grits and jalapeño cream sauce — – it was amazing!!! My peer got an andouille pasta– and she raced on and on about how great it was. Large portions for lunch– wish I could’ve ordered a beer however I was at work so alas, no beer for me. This place was so good, I’ll have to bring my husband by so he can enjoy the food as well! Wish we had something like this in the Hermitage area.

By far our favorite place to eat in Murfreesboro. Seasonal/rotating specials on the weekends starting at 5pm. Great, but small amount of craft beer on tap. We like to get there at 430 on Fridays before you have to wait outside for a seat. This place has a Jalapeño burger with jalapeño bacon and guacamole, my favorite burger in town. Chips and salsa are delicious and cheap, too.

Another outstanding surprise, located in a strip mall, it would be easy to overlook, but don’t, it’s amazing. This serves Southwest Cajun cuisine and they do a great job! We will be back soon. We had Boudin Stuffed Chicken on grits and jalapeño bacon cream sauce. At 12.95 it is a steal!

The food here is definitely different which I love! I’ve been there a few times and each time I’ve gotten the Boudin Crawfish Burger. It’s fairly big with nicely cooked fries. I’ve also tried the Crab Naan Bread, its super yummy. The food is remarkable, but nothing special about the service. They’re just there to do their job, get tips, and leave the reason as to why I’m giving this place 4 stars.

This is one of our favorite places to come! We’ve never been disappointed in the food or the atmosphere. Occasionally, when they’re full to capacity, the waiters are not as welcoming. However, they’re still attentive. My two absolute favorites are the chile reno(nothing like what’s served at the Mexican restaurants in town) and the shrimp and grits. The crab naan is fantastic and the fruit tea(sweet or unsweet) is always spot-on refreshing. We always leave full, so we’ve never had their desserts. Also, whenever my parents visit they want to come here to eat. And my mom is picky when it comes to quality ingredients.
