I stopped here with my two young kids while traveling through the area. Very yummy! Great for a quick lunch-you order at the counter(very friendly staff) and the food comes out quickly. Delicious flour tortillas that appear home made. It seems to have the endorsement of the local Latino community so that’s always a good sign for this gringo! The fish tacos were excellent! Edited to say: I’m still thinking about that fish taco an hour after I ate it so I’m going to go ahead and say that it was one of the best fish tacos I’ve ever had! My husband is from Southern California so I have been schooled in fish taco snobbery!

This place has the downhill the last few months. Prices noticeably increased while speed and efficiency of service declined. God went from really good to OK.

Oh soooooo good! 5 of us got takeout and we all loved it. Super friendly too. Chips and salsa were fresh. Only complaint is guacamole is kinda bland.

Great food, friendly staff. They sometimes have great coupons for buy one get one free chicken quesadilla or chicken fajitas. Recommend it for anyone who loves great food at a great price.

As someone who spent 8 years in San Diego, what a delight it is to not only have Oscar’s in this part of the country, but for it to be such a wonderfully high quality shop as well. The burritos they make here are delicious, not greasy, and extremely authentic. An absolute gem.

We had a BOGO coupon for this little place and thought we would give it a shot. I used to live in Dallas where there are great street tacos around every corner, but that just isn’t the case in Nashville yet. I was hoping Oscar’s would hit the spot, but they just didn’t. I got steak tacos with rice. The tacos were pretty good. They gave you quite a bit of meat for two tacos and they had this yummy spicy hot sauce that you could put on top of it. My mom got the fajitas and they were mediocre in her opinion. What was so gross about this place was their rice and beans. They literally tasted like those microwaveable bags of premade rice. No flavor, kind of sticky and an overall disappointment. One meal was about 8 bucks and that included a drink. I guess you get what you pay for. Most likely will not be coming back here.

I’ve only had take out from here and only 3 – 4 times. But each time, it has been very good with generous portions, especially for the price! I would like to go in for a sit down meal, sometime. But if take out is all I can get, I’m happy :)

More authentic than Taco Bell. I am used to having authentic Mexican food and the menu is a little more Americanized… Food was good though. as good as it gets for being a Mexican restaurant in Tennessee.

If there’s a battle over best taco in Murfreesboro, it would be Oscars vs Carmens with Oscars coming through for the win because of their amazing verde salsa and red sauce. 2 chicken tacos for 5 bucks. Squeeze of lime and some green sauce and life is good. The Cali burrito has a ridiculous amount of steak and potatoes, also, add green and red sauce. This place gets busy too so we like to call in to make sure we don’t wait too long.

My family of 7 came here and shared nachos, a pastor burrito, rolled tacos, a steak breakfast burrito and three tacos. We loved it!

The ONLY place for great tacos!!! Carne asada has lots of meat and guacomole which is sooo good, same for the chicken… simply great tacos!(and they use soft corn tortillas which I prefer, and salsa is on the side)

Went for the first time today. I ordered the nachos with steak. It came with shredded cheese, beans, sour cream, pico de gallo. The chips were freshly made. Everything was really good and the price was decent. I will definitely return here.

Whoa! We stopped for gas at SAMs Club and pulled up Unilocal.Stopped in at Roscoes and was not disappointed! Hubby had fish taco and pastor taco. I had pastor taco and bean tostada. So flavorful. Fresh. Quick but delicious! Now back on the road to Florida from Indiana!

Great food and much more ‘authentic’ Mexican food. The chips are thin, fresh and crispy. The salsa is AH-MAZING, flavorful, zesty and just a little spicy. I’ve had a burrito and nachos there so far and they were both wonderful. The steak is so tender, so flavorful and moist. I will continue to go back and try new items. The space is small and seems to fill up quickly with ‘the working class’ on a weekday. Seems a popular spot for constructions workers, nurses(and our family of four). The prices are very fair, especially considering the caliber of food.

No liquid gold! Nachos used shredded cheese. They put shredded cheese on pretty much anything. I had the taco salad with ground beef. Guac comes on everything and is delicious. It would be so much better if they had queso and coke products.

My husband ordered the Pastor burrito; I ordered the mixed(chicken and steak) fajitas. The good: prices were very reasonable. The fajita steak was tasty, as was my husband’s burrito. The bad: they got my order wrong. I ordered mixed, the counter person called it mixed, but there was no chicken. The ugly: the iced tea was abominable. It was instant and was undrinkable. The beans and rice on my fajita plate were cold. The guacamole and sour cream were fine, but there was barely a teaspoon of each.

I got combo 5 a taco and enchilada. Taco and enchilada had very little flavor and the beans tasted weird. My wife got fish taco and shrimp taco. She said they had no flavor at all. Fairly disappointed.
