We enjoyed our meal after church. Everything was delicious! Service was great. Looking forward to our next visit.

They didn’t know the difference between Over Easy, Sunny Side-Up, and Over Hard fried eggs. Did not get everything I ordered, and saw the waitress one time. Will never be back for anything.

Took kidos before MTSU basketball game and we had great service, food was all fresh and tasty. Had burgers, homemade buns were yummy. Daughter had catfish and it was perfect. Will go back for sure.

Very clean, quiet ambiance, delicious food and reasonably priced! Definitely coming back to try other dishes. The restaurant was very accommodating to our party of 25.

Some restaurants have better seating for larger guests. If you sit in a booth, two larger guests will not fit comfortably.

I ate at CJ’s for lunch. I paid $ 8 for chicken in a cranberry sauce, asparagus and grilled pineapple. It was amazing… seriously one of the best meals I’ve had in Murfreesboro. I would strongly recommend it. The building is nice, but still has a small town feel.

Family of three went for dinner. The Meat item we ordered was good. Side items were average and lukewarm. We told our waitress and she said she would let management know but problem was not resolved. With some work this can be a good place to eat. The breakfast menu looked good.

We have placed a deposit with CJ’s for my daughters wedding and I am now worried we may have made a mistake. My wife and I went for Sunday Brunch… We were disappointed… The«family recipe» egg casserole was way over cooked it had been sitting under a heat lamp, was burned on the surface and dried out. The hash browns clearly came from a bag of frozen shredded potatoes, they were out of wheat toast and the grits were grainy. The prices were great but I would pay more for a better quality brunch. The service was great and the place was clean and neat. We will try it again and hope for a better result. I have had CJ’s catering and it was not indicative of this experience.

Summary: Pretty good breakfast at reasonable prices. Very basic menu. Nice but somewhat inattentive waitress. No apple juice for the kids. Haven’t decided if I’ll go back to give them a second try. But overall a little disappointing. Took the boys here for breakfast Saturday morning so mom could sleep in. It was fine. Very basic breakfast menu. If you want eggs, bacon, grits and biscuits(my favorite breakfast) or pancakes(my boys’ favorite) this place will do. If your looking for fancy eggs benedict, etc… keep looking. The food: It was fine but I was hoping for better. The griddle must have been too hot because while my over-medium eggs were not hard in the middle, they were overcooked on the edges. The bacon was good but the grits seemed a little undercooked and grainy. Not smooth and creamy like I’d hoped for. The biscuits were only so-so. Also, they didn’t have apple juice for the kids which I always consider a negative. And finally, the buttermilk pancakes were delicious. But buttermilk is the only option and while me and son 1 liked them, son 2(4 years old) prefers regular pancakes(doesn’t like the flavor of buttermilk yet) so he didn’t eat his. The service: Our waitress was very pleasant and helpful when asked. My 4 year old can be a handful at a restaurant and she took it all in stride. As far as I could tell she was the only server working. She didn’t visit our table except to take our order and deliver the food unless I called her for something. Otherwise she was in the kitchen. I would have liked a second cup of coffee(Saturday morning…2 kids… need I say more?) but it was time to go before I saw here again. The price: Very reasonable. More so than some of the other breakfast places in town that I’ve found so far. Location: Like a lot of things around here, this place is hiding in a strip mall next to a Dollar General store(those things are everywhere!). But it’s closer to our house than any other place I’ve found. From the outside it doesn’t look like much. The inside is fine. The waitress told me that during the evenings this place is a fine dining restaurant. In spite of that the interior is sparse and not very interesting. But if the food is good the décor can be excused. Conclusion: We arrived hungry and two-thirds of us left full. It was fine and priced right. Son 2 won’t eat the pancakes so I can’t bring him back. No fancy benedicts for wife so I won’t be bringing her. So I’d only be coming by myself and I make better eggs and biscuits at home. Had hoped for better.

Why isn’t this place packed?!? We came on a Saturday night and were worried because there were so few people there. I should be thankful we didn’t have to wait because with food like this ordinarily have to have reservations or wait forever. The food was wonderful! I had a citrus Cosmo and the Rogue, which was a chicken burger with Asian slaw and peanut sauce. Soo good and so reasonably priced! Check this place out if you want high end food at a great price!

Wasn’t impressed! Salmon was way over cooked, as were the onion rings. The grilled asparagus was the best thing about the trip.

Tried CJ’s for the 1st time today for lunch and will definitely be back. Since it was our first time they gave us a complementary caprese salad… great way to start the meal. I had the meatloaf and it was just like mom used to make. My wife had grilled salmon salad, salmon was very tasty. Atmosphere is really nice, pretty quiet at lunchtime and very friendly service. Would absolutely recommend this place.

Chef Jeff catered my wedding a year ago and the food was amazing! My husband and I went to his restaurant for the first time tonight and ordered the same thing we had on our wedding night one year later. The raspberry chipotle chicken is so good. Jeff remembered us and the bartender Damon was awesome. Great place, great food, great prices and great people. I highly recommend!

Great food, nice portions. Chef sent out his special Firecracker crackers and caprese salad-both really tasty! Caprese with nice tomatoes and fresh mozzarella that nicely fell apart in your mouth with a sweet balsamic glaze lightly drizzled atop. Both the filet and ribeye were perfectly cooked and nice smokey taste. Tender meat, nice sides, good salad with flavorful, thick dressings. Also open for breakfast and Sunday brunch!

So excited to have a nice sit down place close to our home!!! We dined on a Saturday night about 8pm it wasn’t overly busy, very clean, well lite and they had an excellent choice in music playing. The server greeted us with a complimentary appetizer of Alabama Fire Crackers and Caprese salad… I was not a fan of the Crackers would not ever order them but the salad was AMAZING! The balsamic dressing tasted delicious fresh roma tomatoes and cheese very refreshing! I had the Southern Fried Catfish with sin corn and red mashed potatoes I would highly recommend very yummy! My husband had the Alamo sandwich with waffle fries he stated that he is not sure he would order again. The bartender was super nice very willing to make drinks that we were going to enjoy he came to our table and made sure that we liked what he created I had the rum runner no banana and my husband had the blue raider margarita very tasty but a bit pricey needs to drop to the 5.00 range. Our server Madison was super sweet very attentive! Go support this place!!’ Now the negative the sweet tea tasted terrible!

Had a late night dinner around 9:30pm, there was only one other table there. It was very quiet for a Saturday night. We waited for a little bit before we were greeted and seated. The waitress was not personable and also seemed like it was a bother for us to come in that late.(They close at 11pm) The restaurant itself has a clean feel and ambiance. We had the Alabama Fire Crackers and Signature Caprese as a complimentary appetizer. Both were pretty good but the crackers weren’t ‘to die for’. Caprese was well prepared and tasted great. We both ordered the Southern Catfish Filets with mac and cheese and grilled pineapples. Catfish was delicious and prepared very well! Mac and cheese was so-so, I wouldn’t order it again. I personally love pineapples, they were just painly grilled but still a great option as a side! Would have given CJ’s more stars if the service was better and more attentive. For whatever reason, she thought that one of us ordered Salmon.(We specifically said«We’re both having Southern Catfish.»)

Only had a soft opening a couple of weeks ago, but I predict if you try this place once you will be back and you will tell a friend. Chef Jeff, has expanded his catering business into something that has been needed on the W Northfield Blvd corridor for quite some time. Great food at even better prices. Food is prepared fresh and with thought and consideration in presentation. Our meal started with a fresh Caprese Salad with Fire Crackers, which was very tasty. The Grilled Chopped Chicken sauteed in Raspberry Chipotle Reduction is fantastic, I paired it with Grilled Asparagus and Alabama Sin Corn. Well you’ll just have to try it for yourself! The restaurant is nicely decorated, crisp & clean. Service was excellent and the Chef even comes by to make sure everything is to your approval. Check out the website & menu below;
