Kroger

I used to buy all my groceries here based on price alone. I continually had bad service. The help at the meat counter left much to be desired, I often got unfriendly baggers, and occasionally a disgruntled cashier. I was familiar with the store, the price was right, and the products were good… but after my third bad experience I decided it wasn’t worth it. I now shop at the super target in Smyrna, and the price is just about the same and the quality if service is 10x better.
***I really hate leaving bad reviews because I know people can have bad days, I know that there are a lot of people working in one place and it is not fair to let one bad egg ruin the bunch… but seriously. continual bad service, in multiple departments :(

Although I wanted to go to Walmart to do my BIG grocery shopping for the month my fiancé’ insisted that I go to Kroger…
I got to Kroger at 1030pm (the best time to shop when you have ALOT to get and the kids are in bed!) I finally finished getting my buggy full at 1115pm. I proceeded to the check out lanes in which all were closed. The only check outs open were the self scan… WHAT??? NO way do they expect me to self scan and bag 400 bucks worth of groceries do they? There was two employees standing there and I ask if I had to use the self scan with all of these groceries. The man told me no way and that he would open a register for me and the female employee next to him said she would bag. WHEW! Thank God! After they checked me out and finished bagging the groceries the man offered to help me to my car since I had two buggies at this point. I took him up on his offer and he was very nice about it.
The people here are always nice and the store is so clean. Not to mention I got 40 cents of each gallon of gas too!

I dont do negatives– just say no.
I will never never shop at this store again nor will I allow my children to.

I have finally decided I have had enough! If you like rudeness, lazy, don’t bother me service, then you will love this Kroger.
I talked with the manager and she agreed that they need to work on their customer service.
I guess I’ll go to PUBLICS where they actually act as if they want you as a customer!

Kroger is one of the more pricey supermarket chains in town. I use this one because it is open 24 hrs a day. Boy, the guys in this store are very sleepy late at night (I mean, sitting-​down, head-​down sleepy).
The Kroger Card gives you a better price on a lot of items and if you spend over $ 100 in a month (like I do), you get $ 0.10 per gallon off the gasoline price on a fill-​up. If you don’t spend $ 100, you still get $ 0.03 per gallon off the posted prices. You will need to drive over to one of the Kroger stores that has a gas station, which is a non-​issue for me since the ones with the gas stations are closer to where I live.
