Love me some Newk’s!
I discovered Newk’s when my company ordered lunch from here, and I fell in love. I’m not too much of a sandwich person, but I love Newk’s sandwiches. My favorite is the Club. 99% of the time, I am ordering this sandwich. The other 1% of the time, I am ordering one of their pizzas. Yum! Their pimento bacon Mac and cheese is also amazing. I seriously pick Newk’s over Panera any day.
This place is great for a lunch outing (they have outdoor seating) or dinner. It’s always packed, and the staff has always been friendly.
Newk’s is definitely my favorite sandwich place!

Love the grill chicken sandwich, every thing was fresh and tastymy husband had a roost beef sandwich, he loved it so much. I really recommend it any time a day!

The main reason I go to Newk’s is to enjoy their shaded outdoor seating on a pretty day. I have never been wowed by any of the menu items, but the food is acceptable. I like the concept of their flavor combos better than the execution of them. The salads are gigantic. My kids don’t like the food at Newk’s, so I’m more likely to go to Newk’s with a friend or co-​workers rather than with my family even though it’s a family friendly place.

I love sandwiches, and have been wanting to try more of the menu but simply cannot bring my self stray from the chicken salad sandwich. It’s phenomenal, with purple onion and spicy brown mustard on crusty bread. I later found out you could buy large tubs of the chicken salad itself, which was a game changer. Seating is often difficult to find as we usually go during peak hours. We usually place to go orders for this reason. The few times we did dine in, we found ourselves in extremely close quarters with our neighboring tables.

The food here is really good and comes out quick. This is a vegetarian friendly place and the staff is always very nice. I suggest the pimento cheese sandwich.

When I went to Newk’s I had a pretty good experience. My salad was pretty good and the service I had was pretty nice. The décor was ok. I do not like the music. I hope people go here.

Always fresh and delicious! Love their pasta salad and shrimp poboy. In the winter time best place to get yummy soups made with fresh ingredients.

If you’re craving a sandwich, soup, salad, or a light pizza, Newks is the place to go. I’ve had a lot of different items on their menu and every single one has been delicious. My favorite thing to order is the sandwich soup combo. The Newks Q sandwich and the lobster bisque soup are two of my favorites.

It was my first time going to Newks last year and now I find myself craving it all the time. This restaurant is full of soup, salad, sandwich, and pizza options. In addition to that they have some tasty looking cakes on display, but I have yet to try one.
It’s really good for combos like soup and salad or salad and sandwich. You can basically combine the things that you want in a smaller sized portion. All of the things that I’ve tried from there have been delicious. I recommend the vegetarian club sandwich, it’s one of the best veggie sandwiches I’ve ever had. Lobster & crab bisque soup is also excellent! They have different soups on different days so your options change from day to day.
If you haven’t been here I recommend this place for lunch!

This is a great place to grab a bite of quality food when you don’t have a lot of time. Definitely a step up, as I had a soup and sandwich combo that was a half Shrimp Po’Boy sandwich and a cup of Lobster Bisque.
The cashier was bright and cheery and was great to see when walking up to order. The menu is easy to read and is right there on the wall.
The only issue I saw was a shortage of busboys. A lot of tables needed to be cleared so we were very limited in our choice of seats. The cashier ended up clearning tables when she had a break from taking orders.
Be forewarned, this place gets crazy busy on weekends when the shoppers are out in force at The Avenue!

Had the Newk’s q with Mac and cheese for dinner last night. It was wonderful as always! The people that work there are always very friendly as well. There were abunch of kids in the restaurant though so it was a little noisy.

I’m pretty in love with this place. I’m a regular at this specific location. I have a usual as well. The chicken sandwich with potato soup. I have yet to receive a not so tasty meal, or not so friendly service. I’d recommend this place for a quite night out. It’s very relaxing. My boyfriend love to mix up and try something new each time. He loves everything that he has tried so far.

Good solid lunch place. Generally very good sandwiches, the club being my favorite. Salads are another highlight, particularly Newk’s favorite. Pizzas are terrible, IMO. Solid, but not spectacular.

*it’s only getting four stars because it can be a little pricey depending on what you get*
However, the food is always delicious and very consistent every time my boyfriend and I come here. Generally we always speak with a younger male who always seems to be working the register every time we’ve been. He’s very nice and always is helpful with good recommendations. I always enjoy the Caesar salad or lobster bisque and the portions are worth what you pay.

Thank you for the ginormous cups that I can refill with Diet Coke! The salads are always fresh and covered in the perfect amount of salad dressing. «Newks Favorite salad» is my favorite, as well!
It’s an easy place to take my kids. They love the pepperoni pizza!
