I haven’t been to this place in awhile but I was craving some sushi but I didn’t want to pay a fortune for it. That’s when I thought of Pei Wei! I got the Kung Pao Shrimp Roll and it was so delicious. My next visit was a week later and we arrived right when they opened. I order the 4pc Kung Pao Shrimp Roll again and sadly it was made ahead and the rice was hard from being refrigerated. I also order the Caramel Chicken with brown rice and it was delicious! The sauce was perfect and the shredded carrots and cucumber were fresh. Anytime I make brown rice and follow the directions and it always comes hard. They must be doing something right because it was soft and good!

We stopped here for dinner on a recommendation from family while on a road trip. It has really bad reviews, but my experience was average. There were some things I like about it, and some things I didn’t. I like the flow of the restaurant. The service was friendly and fast. The restaurant was clean and nice. The food wasn’t great, but it wasn’t that bad for the price. I had the Thai Dynamite. I orederd a small portion with fried rice, but it just came with regular white rice. It was okay. The chicken was breaded and sauteed with the sauce and vegetables. I didn’t like the flavor bacuse it was too sweet for me and not spicy like I expected from the mune. But if you like more spicy, there were many kind of hot sauces at the drink station. The dining was fine and comfortable. We had a good time at dinner! It is not a bad place for a quick stop!

Quality has gone down hill! I ordered the teriyaki rice bowl with shrimp and 4 crab wontons I specifically asked for extra sauce for my rice bowl… Very dry last time I ordered it. It took forever for my to go to be completed when I finally got home my rice bowl was even drier this time than last time and no sauce for my wontons! I had to use soy sauce to moisten it enough to eat. Also as I was eating I noticed a «strange» looking piece of shrimp I cut it to check it and it was chicken, I can’t have chicken it makes me sick! Not sure I will be returning!

This is no reflection on the food — it’s PF Chang Quality — very good. But they are as slow as FOG! Lunchtime waited in a traffic-jam line for 15 minutes and there were only 6 people in front of me; Waited for food for an additional 20 minutes. I recommend their food and I also recommend using the app to order ahead. They should really take a look at their ordering and food delivery process.

Have eaten here before and it was good. Tonight however was not good at all. Hot and sour soup so think I could have used a fork. Sushi was terrible. Thick, pasty rice that made up most of the flavorless roll. Very disappointed with the food quality.

If you can give no stars that’s what I would give. I went to order and three employees stood there and never looked up never greeted me so I started counting. Working on patience. Close to a minute I stood there I even took a picture of them. Spend the money and hire some better employees. I just walked out the door and went somewhere else! Awful!

I love these and hoped that I could enjoy a meal of Asian cuisine. The greeter was mumbling and wanted to be any where but here. Restaurant was dirty and the drink bar was not stocked at all. I ended up wiping my own table and searching for forks. Noise level was like being at a UT football game. Not a good example of this chain at all. Poorly staffed and obviously managed. Never again for this frequent diner in the ‘boro.

Do you like P.F. Chang’s? So do I. Drive to Franklin or Nashville. But for the love of all things holy, don’t go here thinking they are the same thing. This place loves sauce and salt. I can kill myself at home with sugary sauce and salt cheaper. Never again.

My friend and I decided to stop by Pei Wei on Sunday afternoon for lunch after some shopping in the area. As many have noted, this place is owned by PF Chang’s so you will see similar things at both places. You order at the counter and get your drinks and then someone brings your food out when it’s ready. The annoying thing is that my food came out like 5 minutes before my friend’s food(apparently this is a common thing) so I felt bad for eating in front of her. I got the one of the spring rolls to start out, which was pretty tasty, and also the traditional edamame, which basically was something I could’ve made at my house. But still pretty good. I opted for the Korean Steak Lettuce Wraps. On the menu there’s an indication that it’s spicy and so I was a little concerned that it would be too much(since I don’t like too much) but the lady at the register said it wasn’t bad at all. There was definitely a little spice but wasn’t overpowering. The food was a little on the salty side, but overall was pretty good on taste. Overall this is a pretty good place if you’re looking for something quick while you’re out running errands on the weekend. 3 stars is «A-OK» and that’s pretty much how I feel about it. Definitely a place I wouldn’t mind visiting again, but not a place I would go out of the way to visit.
