Good burgers and very friendly staff. The onion straws and milkshakes are my favorites.

Great burger joint! We’ve brought numerous members of our immediate and extended family here over the years and very often out of the blue we will get a text from them that says, «I really want Smashburger.» Since we’ve moved away from the Boro, I now find myself thinking the same thing…
The burger creation is simple, choose your patty and bread type — then pile on the endless toppings. Very similar to Five Guys, but they have a lot of higher end additions such as baby spinach and goat’s and bleu cheese. The Smash Fries are a must: crisp shoestring spuds drenched in herbs and olive oil. If you have the room, also try a shake — but they almost make a whole meal for how heavy they are.

Tried it for the first time. Ordering was easy enough. My burger was literally smashed! It was very thin, awkwardly spread on the bun and flavorless. The fries weren’t any better. Not worth it. Won’t be retuning.

Overall, so much left to be accomplished at this location. Visiting last night as I drove through Murfreesboro, I was almost mystified by the lack of customer service. Grant it, it was a quiet Monday night but I expected more after visiting 2 of their Columbus, OH locations.
Cashier was having her dinner about 3 tables down from me. As I put on my coat to leave, I didn’t get a «goodbye», «thank you» or anything. It was like I was invisible. I even busted my own table which is not always expected at Smashburger locations.
Burger patty was smaller than I remember and even after being smashed barely covered the entire bun. Fries were not their usual glistening Smashburger fries.
Oreo Milkshake was the only saving portion of this meal as it was made with its usual high quality Haagen Dazs.

This burger joint was just ‘alright’. We were down in the area to check out Hastings but needed a place for a quick bit. To me, this is very similar to a five guys, yet the fries aren’t as good. They have some decent burger joices and you can get it basically any way you want it. But the fries are shoestring style and although have good rosemary flavor, the size just kills it. Same with the onion straws, they are so thin and small you can’t taste the onion, its like bits of batter. Blah!

Really good quick burger place! Lots of wonderful fresh toppings. The fries are amazing. I also got an order of fried pickles and they were great too!

Delicious cheeseburgers and children sandwiches. All the fries are delicious. Prices are reasonable, especially for the portion you receive. I recommend anyone who hasn’t been to stop by!

Very good! Clean! Friendly! I usually get the mushroom burger onion straws and/​or fries. The last time I was there I got the buffalo fries… YUM! Keep up the good work, guys! :)

As a vegetarian, there aren’t many burger places I’ll go. However, Smashburger is definitely an exception. The black bean patty is absolutely amazing! Coupled with some fries (flavored nicely with rosemary and olive oil… and there are a ton, so one serving is good to share with others), I had a nice, light dinner tonight. My husband loved the Tennessee burger, too.

Had a sign on the door that said «due to our systems we will be closing g at 630. We got there at 602. She was very rude about not letting us order

Delicious fresh burgers and the smash fries are great — seasoned with garlic & rosemary with olive oil.
I enjoyed the ¹⁄₃ pound Tennessee burger with its BBQ sauce and carmelized onions.

Interesting selection of burgers and chicken sandwiches.
Tried the Baja Jalapeño Burger with their signature fries. Burger was good, but not great. Sum was less than the parts. Fries were greasy and I don’t prefer the thin cut style.
Service was excellent. Ambience was nice though the temperature was cold.
Overall — okay. May try again to have something different. Or not.
Well…upon reflection, will come back to see if they fix the men’s room door (it doesn’t lock) and the large cups don’t fit under the ice tea dispensers. (Call me a curious grumpy old man!)

Stopped in for a late lunch… Place serves one of the best burgers around. Also very reasonable pricing.
Smash Fries are very good as well.
Will absolutely stop again next time in the ‘Boro!

Usually love Smashburger, but hadn’t eaten there in a few years. Drove kind of far to go here, and it wasn’t as good as I remember. I didn’t finish my burger because the meat quality seemed lower than before.

Fresh ingredients. Clean welcoming environment. The girl at the register was world class, I’m not kidding this kid made sure I knew what Smashburger was all about. After all that I was not entirely in love with my burger… the bun reminds me of an Australian Wec Bun… which with this burger seemed to overwhelm the rest of the ingredients. The burger was cooked perfectly but was on the salty side and there were too much mustard on the burger as well meaning that it dripped and slid every time I took a bite. Next time I’ll know and order sans the mustard and enjoy a perfect burger and lunch.

Delicious burgers. I ordered the Smash burger which is a cheeseburger. It was delicious. The beef patties are large but thin and cooked to a crisp. I also had their onion fries which are thinly sliced onions rings. They were good too but messy to eat. My husband had their chipolte grilled chicken burger and it was delicious too. Can’t wait to eat here again. Place is clean. Service is friendly and quick.

I went in there to use the restroom, then I was going to order. As I walked in, and headed to the back, to the restrooms, two employees blocked my path, said restrooms are for paying customers only, and they were NOT joking. I left, and will never go back.
What rediculous, rude service. If that is how you will treat your customers, I have plenty of other places to go eat.

My first time at this burger joint. I give it 4 stars. The burger was good. I just got the regular sized burger and smash fries. Couldn’t tell the difference in reg fries vs smash fries. Nothing real crazy about the burger. It was a good one. That’s all.

This is another place I was torn between 3 and 4 stars, but I decided to round up since the service was really good. My boyfriend and I went to Smashburger on Friday around 5:00 and it was basically dead, there was only one other guy in there. Looking at the other reviews, apparently this is kind of common… I actually didn’t realize that this was a chain place until I was looking at the reviews after we ordered.
Anyway, we went up to the counter and ordered and only waited about 15 minutes before our food came out. My boyfriend got one of the Salted Caramel shakes and it was pretty damn tasty. He also opted for the BBQ, Bacon, & Cheddar Burger with the Smashfries, which are shoestring fries with olive oil, rosemary, and garlic. I went with the Avocado Club Burger with the Smashfries as well. The fries were really good, and had a great flavor. Even though I typically like thicker fries, these were still pretty delicious. The burger was really juicy and I really liked the addition of the avocado on it.
Since it was pretty slow when we got there, a couple employees came to check on us throughout our meal to see if we needed anything else. I thought this was a pretty nice touch, considering it’s supposed to be a fast food place. I would definitely come here again, especially to try the sweet potato fries that everyone keeps raving about!

Sept 28 2013 Tony and I went back to the Smashburger in Murfreesboro… We love this restaurant. Today Tony ordered the Tennessee Smashburger with Cheese and Jalapeño and sweet potato fries and I ordered the Chicken Baja Smash sandwich and Veggie Frittes… awesome!!!
I would definitely go here again and again. I can’t wait until my daughter comes for permanent visit. she is moving here and I am going to take her to enjoy some AWESOME sandwiches and sides at Smashburger…
