Great place for buying bulk. We buy our disposable cups and plates here. The prices are great. They also have a good selection of coffee. Everything is sold in bulk so if you have a big family or get together perfect place to shop. They do not bag your purchases. They do offer boxes. Bring your reusable shopping bags!

So I’m in the ‘boro, prepping to pick up a customer, and I figured I’d check out a few places, and one of the stores I passed by was GFS. I took a look at the store, and thought it looked like a drug store or convenience store and kept going. Nothing new to see. Whatever. I kept going, and turned around trying to find the coffee shop, and passed it again.
This time, though, I was confronted by a sign that told me «No Membership Necessary.» Suddenly, I was intrigued. No membership meant the this was not a convenience store or drug store, so I turned in and found myself in what amounts to a smaller version of a warehouse store. It was essentially a tiny Sam’s Club.
Nice prices, very friendly employees, and a compact, easy to navigate situation. Nothing hard about this place.
If you’re into buying in bulk, and you want to check out something a little different from the traditional (and humongous) clubs, you definitely want to see this.

Started out as a restaurant supply business and the majority of their $ 12 billion business is still supplying restaurants. Several years ago they started building retail stores where anyone can go and buy bulk items. This store has been here 3 years and I had no idea it was there! It’s behind Samurai and it’s easy to see if you are looking for it.
Most of the items here are sold in bulk but they do have a fairly large selection of items that are retail sized. Spices area deal. They sell larger sizes and the prices are about the same as supermarket prices. This is the perfect store to pick up food etc for a party. For that volume, the prices and sizes are perfect.
I have to comment on the customer service and employee attitude: fantastic! We were asked 4 times by different employees if we needed help finding items. Everyone was polite and the assistant manager took the time to tell us about GFS. Privately-​owned, easy return policy, consistent product quality.
