Kroger

The only reason I’ve given 2 stars instead of one lonely star is because I really love Kroger. I don’t like to shop anywhere else.
With that being said, this is the worst Kroger I’ve ever been to. They’re always out of at least 15% of the items on my list when I visit. Once, I went in and not a single leaf of lettuce was to be found. Not spinach, not iceberg, not a head of lettuce, not a stalk of romaine, not anything in a bag. Nothing.
Forget about the bacon. Just forget about it! They’re always out of it (other than the cheap stuff). If they don’t have meat in stock, the butcher/​meat dept guys are sometimes able to assist and pull something out of the back.
Standing in line for the deli department will give you enough time to update your grocery list, make a new friend in line, change your Facebook status, and ponder the meaning of life. all while stretching your legs. It’s not uncommon to stand in line for 15 minutes or more before you’re able to order your favorite turkey.
The aisles are narrow and the store has an odd layout. I live a few blocks from this store but would rather fight traffic on a Sunday afternoon when the service at World Outreach is letting out, just to cross New Salem and go over to the Kroger on Church Street.

Easy to get in and out of plus they keep the store well stocked. There is a good variety of products as well. If you like good fried chicken, try some from the deli. They really knock it out of the park on the chicken. Checkers are pretty quick, but I usually hit the self checkout since they have two pods of four so there is rarely a line.

The ladies in the floral department were amazing! I was late for a gender revel party and the party store was out of helium, the balloons that I bought online we’re huge and see through and the confetti was too heavy, but they took the time to help me work it out and make it happen! I owe a huge amount of gratitude to Jordan and Jessica!!!

Super fast check-​out, always well stocked, and you can find pretty much anything you can think of. My only complaint is the lack of semi to fully ripe bananas, but that’s a toss-​up at any grocery store. Kudos, Kroger! :) Oh, and the double gas points in the summer? I won’t shop anywhere else.

This kroger is amazing!!! Best seafood section in town and a huge selection of all items to browse through. One of the largest organic sections of any kroger and the prices for the area are awesome!#

This is by far the best Kroger that I have been to yet! They have the largest organic/​natural foods section I’ve seen so far. WAY better than any of the Publix I have been to in the area.
