Starbucks

I come here whenever I’m in Murphysboro. I use the order in and sit there and read in the comfy chairs until my girlfriend orders her coffee which I pick up and bring to her. Jessica one of my favorite people she always has a friendly smile a kind word in such a gentle heart. Definitely a five-​star experience.

Ordered cinnamon dulce this morning and received warmed milk with no coffee or cinnamon dulce. I called there corporate office and they said they would email me a receipt for it. They never emailed it so I went into Starbucks to speak with them about it. They refused to refund my 6 dollar warmed milk or give me a coupon for my next drink with out the receipt. This is terrible customer service. As a manager of another business, I’d rather refund the money and keep my customer than risk losing one over a 6 dollar coffee. After being a loyal customer for many years I have no intentions of returning.

This location is an excellent study spot.
Most customers seem to use the drive thru and there’s always space at one of the tables to do some studying.
The staff is attentive and friendly; this morning they’ve even called 90% of the customer by name. They really know their regulars!
Their store is clean and well lit, and their pastry case is well stocked and delicious. Their advertisements and branding within the store is looking great, I think corporate would be very pleased with their presentation.
The only negatives I see is 1. Presentation of stock — they have some cardboard boxes piled next to the counter and the door to the kitchen/​back area is propped open. 2. They used to be out of syrup on a regular basis, but I haven’t ordered any uncommon flavors at this location lately so that may have gotten better.
Overall it’s an excellent study spot, I just wish they had a printer!

Standing here at Starbucks on Memorial by 5:38am and I will not unlock the damn door I’ll never come here again

This Starbucks is always friendly and clean. It is never too busy which is also nice.

Love my coffee! Easy in and out, near lots of shopping. The usual friendly staff and it moves fairly quick even in The drive-​thru.
My daughter loves to do different frappé recipes, live them all!

Still a fresh and new store with a very nice and bold interior, better than the other Starbucks stores in town. The evenings are pleasant because it is clearly their slow time and they can give the absolute best service and engagement a barista can during this time, which is what I love.
The Reserve options are superb and worth the extra money.

Typical Starbucks and obviously popular on this particular side of town since the nearest one before this one was next to campus. Plenty of seating inside and our drinks were made quickly. Went later on a Saturday night but the place was pretty quiet. Overall a good experience and convenient for those who are Starbucks addicts.

I’m always in a hurry in the morning. I don’t waste time, I don’t stop. But with a new Starbucks opening right on my way to work, I found the time. They took over half of a former Mexican restaurant and the business was assembled very quickly and opened this week.
There is a sign out front but the word had not gotten out yet, as there was only ONE car in front of me in the drive-​through. SCORE!
My order was prepared quickly and the barista and I had a short but nice little conversation while I waited. I tipped her, got my drink and was on my way. I usually don’t take a sip until I’m down the road because the Drip that I get is usually very hot when it is fresh. The Drip is short for «coffee of the day». I say «grande drip» and they know what it means.
To my disappointment, my Drip was not a drip. It actually had a little sweetener of some kind and when I popped the lid, I saw a little creamer was also added. I was surprised because Starbucks, among all drive-​through businesses that I visit, is just about perfect. I’m going to chalk this up to the opening-​month jitters and I will give them another shot (no pun intended). Stay tuned!
