It was my first time going to this salon and I was referred to Kim. Not only did she give me a fantastic haircut she gave me the blow dry style ever! It was the most relaxing part of my week! She was super sweet and professional. She took her time and analyzed my hair texture before making decisions, which a lot of stylists don’t do! Definitely will be returning!

I recently moved to Murfreesboro and was in need of a new salon. My grandmother suggested The Beehive, so naturally, I went somewhere else. After a mediocre experience elsewhere, I decided to give The Beehive a try. Lisa did a wonderful job and I’m thrilled to not have to shop around for a stylist anymore. My only problem is that I really hate proving my grandmother right.

I probably won’t be returning to this salon after my first visit a month ago. The stylist was very young and inexperienced. I explained to her the cut and style I was looking for, and even showed her two pictures. I asked for layers all around and no more than an inch off. She came no where close to the style and cut I asked for, cut more than an inch off, and made my hairstyle as squared as it can be.

Marla cut and colored my hair. She was great and I loved how it looked. She was also very personable. This is my new fave place to get my hair done :)

The Beehive is a cute salon in Murfreesboro on the west side of town. The salon is located in a strip mall style shopping center, but as soon as you step inside, you feel like you are in a hip little standalone venue. Whoever did the décor has great taste! Bravo! Michelle did my hair. I’m new to the area, and back in Chicago I got a body wave(a perm with the biggest rods) for my pathetic thin, fine hair. Obviously, this is a hair treatment that could go badly, so it’s hard to be trusting of a new person or a new place. I’m happy to say that Michelle listened to me and did my hair exactly like I wanted. She offered me a soda while I waited for my hair to set. Little things like that really make a place awesome! Michelle is definitely my new gal for hair services in Murfreesboro, and the Beehive is the place to go! I feel like the pricing at the Beehive is a good compromise between going to a great clips kind of place and going to a place like Tangerine where perms start at $ 100(they start at $ 55 at Beehive and go up based on hair length). Finally, kudos for a salon with a cute website! Check out their specials/coupons tab.
