Walgreens

I don’t normally go to this location since the Cason Lane Walgreens is just a hair closer, but they have bailed me out a few times when my regular Walgreens has been out of one of my medications. The pharmacy staff have always been great and very helpful. If anything ever were to happen to my normal Walgreens, I would definitely switch my business over to this one!

I love this Walgreens. It’s the closest store to my house, so I’m in here quite often. The managers and employees are all super nice and helpful.

After having the worst experience possible with my CVS Pharmacy in Louisiana, I did not want to even risk the same experience with a CVS here, so I went to Walgreens. First of all, when I called on the phone and asked them to get my prescriptions sent over from the Louisiana CVS, they actually didn’t complain! This was music to my ears considering the response that I would’ve gotten from the CVS. Calling the pharmacy alone there was like blasphemy to the pharmacy workers. The Walgreens employee who answered the phone in the pharmacy was from Slidell, LA and she was so sweet! She called and got my prescription (well, the one she could… see my CVS review for more on that issue). When I went in to pick it up, someone actually asked me if I needed to talk to the pharmacist about my medications. GASP. I know they are «supposed» to do this everywhere, but seriously this is the first time someone has ever asked me that. She even asked me if I wanted to check out with my other items back there and didn’t act like I was the bane of her existence. I can’t tell you how happy I am with this location-I’ve already been there about four times for prescriptions and other stuff and I haven’t had a bad experience yet! Awesome!
