The food was good but the drinks were weak and you had to wait forever for everything. The bathroom was also a mess.

We were on a back roads trip and read the reviews! One of the best meals I have had !! Service was with a smile, very clean and it was packed, which is always a good sign! It was a very good choice!

Darn good food at quite reasonable prices from genuinely local restaurant. Food tasted fresh and NOT off food-service truck! Portions very generous, too!

My friend and I went to Brothers for our Thanksgiving Dinner… the service was great… The salad was very fresh loved it… however. The main coarse was another story… The Turkey was amazingly dried out. The Ham look so rough didn’t even attempt to try it… also the prime rib… looked raw no way was I going to have that… For the price of 27.99 we thought it was WAY over priced… next year we will make other plans…

Excellent food and some of the most responsive waitress service I’ve seen in this type of restaurant. We had the stuffed chicken and the sauerkraut with sausage. The sauerkraut was a little different from what I’m used to but it was great.(See the picture that someone posted, two types of sauerkraut and a variety of sausages). Both meals were very good. The waitress we had did not forget about us, we were impressed. We had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated, worth the short wait. The waiting area is similar to Cracker Barrel but in a much smaller scale. This is good southern food, so anything should be good. They are busy for a reason. We will return.

This place has a buffet and a limited regular menu. When we arrived, the buffet was just finishing up and looked a bit tired, so we decided to order off the regular menu. The ribs were good, not great, and the sandwiches are good. On the day we went, a groups of young servers, probably in high school, were running around efficiently and serving customers. Got to respect a business that provides jobs for young people.

Went for Veterans Day… Vets ate free from food bar. Delicious fried chicken, Hubby’s favorite, chicken and dumplings were good too. Sweet potato casserole, corn, greens, rolls, cornbread all very good. Bar was well stocked, employees very courteous and friendly. Lots of desserts to choose from and nice salad bar, great waitress to boot!

Good menu selection with more than reasonable prices. The service was friendly and even though we had a large group we were well taken care of. I would definitely recommend trying it if you’re in the area

Good comfort food! From the exterior, it didn’t look like much, however upon going inside, it was a nice with a rustic country décor. A very casual ambience. This appears to be a favorite location for local diners. My husband had the fried pork chops, I had their trout special. We also shared their fried green tomatoes. Portions were generous, and one plate can feed two. If you liked fried foods, this is the right place for it. Everything was fried right, and they were all good. As for my trout special, positions were generous, it was good, but I think their fried dishes were better. The fried green tomatoes were excellent and served with creamy horseradish. Interesting, yet really good too. I would recommend this appetizer. Lastly, service was exceptional. By city standards, their prices were really inexpensive. Average prices for entrees were 10.00−12.00, plus 1.75 if you want to add a trip to the salad bar. The salad bar had a nice fresh assortment of items. .

After the Appetizer I order October Fest Trout with Kale(German Style, Trout fillet lightly breaded with kale, Rice with lightly share Vegetables) Wife order Chicken Alfredo with Salad.(one trip to Salad Bar). Until now I have enjoy our lunch, from the Green Tomatoes(Appetizer) through the main plate Awesome… By the way Brother’s at Young Harris is the owner, good to know.

I had the chicken with spinach and feta and it was AMAZING! Ashely was an incredible waitress, even with our party of 7 she kept up with all of our«demands» and was so sweet in he process. I was also able to purchase the apple wine I’ve been wanting to try from the Cherokee Cellars.

As a first time guest, I was really impressed with this restaurant! From the outside you wouldn’t think of it much, but once you enter, it’s a completely different story. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, and the food is a complete treat!!! Highly recommended

Don’t ask me how the food or service is because I don’t know. I refused to wait for a table over 10 minutes when I’m in no-mans land Murphy North Carolina. We road all day on motorcycles and now have to wait for a lousy table when I went to use the men’s room and saw half the place empty. Where am I? NYC? Walked to Burger King for dinner. Thank you brothers

Our dinner was great and the service was wonderful. Our server was new, but she did fine. We didn’t know that we were ordering from the dinner menu when we were clearly pointing to the light fare. So, if we go back, we’ll be more careful. I kept marveling that the portions were so big… we had to take half home. The difference in price was $ 8.99 for what we thought we’d ordered and $ 12.99 for what we received. Anyway, the food was good.

A very nice menu that will allow several visits without repetition. Excellent service, albeit just a little slow, and food was very good. Asst Mgr, Larry doubled as our waiter and he made sure our first visit was memorable.

My husband and I stopped here on our way to Cherokee, NC. They have a Sunday buffet($ 12.99) but we ordered from their menu. I had the chicken fried chicken breast with white pepper gravy. It comes with 2 sides and I chose mashed potatoes & green beans, both were very good.($ 8.99). My husband ordered shrimp & chicken in a wine sauce with onions & tomatoes over rice. It came with one side and he also had the green beans.($ 8.99). Follow the directions from Unilocal to find this place. Don’t be confused by the billboard sign
