Pretty darn good chicken! I got the 8 pc meal. The portion size is huge! You will not leave this place hungry, and if you do, that’s your fault. The child had the kids 6 pc meal. We chose the apples with the toffee dip for her side. The dip was really good and went well with the apples. You can tell they take care in their food and prep. The apple slices(which were a lot!) Were placed in lemon juice to keep them fresh! Their chicken has a breading on it similar to Chicken fried steak batter. It is REAL chicken breast! The fries are average, good seasoning on them that I really enjoyed. I will be back soon to try the salads… yumm!

I like the menu. Lots of options. The chicken tenders weren’t overly cooked or seasoned. They were moist, and crispy on the outside. Not oily or heavy. The sauces are good too. I loved the hand washing station in the front. Update. The cashier(a young girl) who takes your orders in the front needs to learn what customer service is. She isn’t friendly or nice. She never smiles. If I was the manager I’d put someone like that in the back not dealing with customers.

I alway like to find a «better than I expected» place. We are no big on fast food or chain restaurants, so our expectations were set pretty low for a quick lunch here. I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised. The place is very new so it is also very clean. The staff seems up to speed and ready to please. The menu is easy and the food was wonderful. I had the California Cobb chicken sandwich. Very tasty! The fries are excellent. My only complaint is the soda machine. It confuses most people, myself included, the first time you use it. That slows down getting your soda when there is a line of folks trying to get a drink. The good news is there are usually«pros» that lend helpful advise so you can get the drink you want. A nice touch is the hand wash near the food counter, Great idea! Bottom line is we will have this on our lunch list and return again!

Tried this place for the first time a couple weeks ago. I had the chicken strips and my daughter had a kids meal with nuggets. Chicken strips were delicious and hot and the honey mustard dipping sauce was the best I’ve ever had. My daughter likes the nuggets though one was burned. Fries were ok, not bad but too crisp for my liking. I did like the fact that my daughter got the same portion of fries in her kids meal that I got in my regular meal. I will definitely be back for those strips and the amazing sauce.

Everyday I drove by this construction sight, I was curious as to what was being built in such a slow manner. Finally, one day I saw a PDQ sign and although I had no idea what that was I knew I wanted to try it. With the location being next to Chic Fil A and Canes I was confused when I learned they’d be selling similar foods. Maybe there would be some free enterprise and some competition going on. Well that was wrong. The food here is decent to okay. I’ve been here twice and although I’ve never had anything horrible, I was disappointed in choosing PDQ. The chicken strips I ordered were pleasantly lightly bread and tender, but they were almost flavorless and had quite a bit of gristle. I had to drown them in ketchup to give them any taste and wash the whole thing down with a strawberry milkshake. Even the milkshake here was decent but not great and it was expensive. Why come here when there is a Chic Fil A across the street that is cheaper and has better chicken and shakes. There’s even a great Canes further down the street. And if you looking for tenders, then Scotty Ps has some of the best along with sweet potato fries and awarded shakes. Ultimately, I’m just disappointed that PDQ was built here; it’s honestly a waste of commercial space. At best, PDQ is mediocre food for its expensive for fast food price tag. The service is okay but they also have so many workers just doing nothing and standing around. I wouldn’t come here when you’re money and your taste buds would be better spent somewhere else.

Honestly not bad at all for a fast food restaurant. More like a really stepped-up and semi-healthy restaurant. It’s cheap and good. Try it for yourself!

This place is becoming a new favorite for me. I’ve been to the location in Frisco a few times, and this one now as well. I find their chicken very flavorful, you can see the seasoning and spices in their breading. Fries are good, dipping sauces are good, chicken is good. Will definitely return.

I was surprised when this place decided to build across the street from Chick-fil-a and three doors down from Cane’s, but the latter have nothing to worry about. We’ve tried them twice now and both times were completely disappointed. The nuggets always appear to burned and taste nothing of the«honey dipped» they claim to be. The strips are worse — sooooo bland. The sandwiches are too. We’ll keep visiting Cane’s and Chick-fil-a, thank you very much.

This place REALLY impressed us as I’m a Cali Girl and the«fresh» vibe it gives off /a new place like this in this area is really exciting. We walked in and it was empty so it was cute /nice that the young employees eagerly awaited our order. And the drink picture posted was pretty amazing. The young girl who checked me out was sweet yet seemed intimidated by questions /didn’t know all the information. They we’re out of their famous nuggets. The restaurant itself is VERY new age which is a plus and it even has a hand washing station which is cool. My order came very quick and with sweet service so I stopped in the bathroom and when leaving saw a young employee not wash her hands /trying to hide in the bathroom and text which is unprofessional. It was A 4⁄5 Until this. And then while sitting another young girl cleaning booths loudly said she found a dead bug in one right next to us which she left. This TOTALLY turned me off. The salad was good but chicken had no flavor good consistency though. Just not a professional enough place to spend my money.

I paid extra for avocado in my salad, but I received brown old avocado pieces instead. Took it back, they thought I was weird that I would want fresh avocado, but they replaced it. Salad dressing was way way way too sweet, and it was just an OK salad. Also ordered chicken strip and fries for our child, that was not bad. And a chicken sandwich that was blah. I’d say it’s not worth going back especially when you have the perfect every time Chick fil A across the street.

Love this new chicken place in Murphy Texas. Great fresh food. They even cut up the lettuce in the store. No freezers either! They have great healthy options in a fun environment! People Doing Quality! The staff is very friendly as well.

The drive thru line was finally short enough for me to venture here. The fried chicken strips were very good. You can also get them grilled. The strips were huge and meaty. I batter was not cakey at all and was light instead. I found that refreshing as most strips are mostly batter with very little meat. I thoroughly enjoyed them. They were a little bland but the dipping sauce makes it outstanding. I tried the sweet Siracha dip and loved it. It was mild, not spicy, and creamy… perfect with the strips. Also got fresh cut fries and they were okay. I’d like them thicker but they weren’t terrible.

Went last night with my family to try for the first time. We tried crispy chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, chicken salad and fries. You have to eat the chicken with the sauce. Without the sauce, the chicken is completely tasteless. The fries and salad are not that good either. There were 2 people who came to our table asking how we were doing, that was nice. But I got irritate by this one girl who came at least 4 times asking if she can take some of the empty plates away.

The fries are freaking delicious! I got the Cali club and it was fresh, warm, and very generous with the avocado which I loved because let’s face it avocado is amazing! The meat was plump, non dry, and very good which surprised the crap out of me because honestly I dislike any grilled meat but this meat did not disappoint. I don’t know about yall but I’ll definitely be back I need to try more! I need a shake, salad, etc etc!

1st time here… Not bad. Fast foods with made to order foods and five stars restaurant services. McDonalds are a think of the past. Who saids you can’t fast foods without the fast??? Had the crispy chicken salad. Salad was as fresh as you could get anywhere. Crispy chickens are hot and crispy and not so greasy. Will be back to try other stuff on this short but tasty menu…

I love this place. I’ve been to the Frisco location but this one is closer to my home. The chicken is real and it has good flavor and it’s not dry so I can tell it hasn’t been frozen. I have had tenders and salads. The crispy tenders come with about seven sauce options which are all good and fresh made. Sauces don’t say«peel here» because they were made that day in the store. The fries are fresh not frozen so they are different from other places. They are a little softer but the flavor is great especially if you dip them in one of the tender sauces. The milk shakes that I’ve tasted are good. They are not overly sweet as mentioned in another review. They are made from real ice cream not a premade mix you just hook up to a machine. The food isn’t cooked until you get there so it’s not fast food but it is much better tasting than fast food and I bet it’s better for you.

The outside and interior decorations were great, so I decided to check it out. I went inside and proceeded to order the 4 chicken tender meal. It was 9 dollars and I got the smallest and skinniest tenders I have ever had. My old high school served better than this. I could go to the Golden Chick across the street for some extra crispy and delicious tenders for cheaper. Probably would not go again.

I liked the décor, seat arrangements, plentiful condiments, and ample parking. But the food scored a big«wah-wah». Ordered a chicken sandwich, turkey sandwich, fries and milkshake. My biggest pet peeve — room temperature food. I like my food piping hot fresh and everything was pretty much borderline cool. Fried turkey was over-breaded and fried for way too long. Grilled chicken patty nice in size and tender but also lacking flavor. The milkshake was like drinking sugar straight from a cup — overly sweet and we only got a cup not even 70% full. Not quite sure if we’ll return…

Better than Cane’s? No. And, Cane’s ain’t that good either. Was awaiting the opening in anticipation — for no apparent good reason. Hey, PDQ — you put batter on chicken to add some flavors — your chicken — while hot is absolutely tasteless! Fries are terrible as well. Worst milk shakes I’ve ever had — sort of melted whipped cream — cheap, fake stuff at that. I don’t get it — probably among nicest fast food joints as far as appearance — but such lousy food. Oh — forgot — sauces suck too! Not worth the visit or expense — most of the chicken traveled home to the dogs… Hope they won’t be pissed at me… Took a slow, long look around. Won’t be back even on a bet.

Dare I say… better than Raising Cane’s? I won’t just yet but it’s a strong contender. Meet your competitor, Raising Cane’s. The only thing is they don’t have Texas toast(which I love) but this isn’t a Texas chain so I’m not going to hold that against them. Their menu is definitely much more extensive so everyone can find something to enjoy. High quality chicken tenders — juicy and crispy albeit lacking on the flavor a little… and they’re small. They have a vast array of sauces, too… for no extra charge! These are definitely needed to amp up the chicken strip flavors. They make their own sauces and salad dressings. PDQ is worth giving a shot. Fries are made fresh! Good place for lunch. Slightly expensive but it is on the higher quality end of fast food. Service is really friendly too and is what pushed my review to 4 stars.
