This is not the Subway to stop into. These kids could care less about you or your order. The lack of professionalism is dragging this place down.

This subway is unlike the others in the area. Usually staffed by what seem like high school kids, they’re usually on their phone or gossiping when you come in. I generally have to repeat things to them multiple times as they don’t listen. The prices are higher than similar Subway’s in Andrews and Robbinsville.

On the way to the Dragon, I will place a few location that I am going to review and I get back and forth from ATL(Perimeter) to Deals Gap in NC, which is the southern-most part of the«famous» Tail of the Dragon(318 curves in 11 miles, paradise for riders). That being said: Subway! Not much to say as you can imagine, BUT! Yes it’s a Subway, so no surprise, quality will always be the same, ingredients the same, prices the same. Why I put it here is mostly because it is located in a Citgo gas station, which makes it convenient for us fellow riders to refill the gas tank. It’s exactly 101 miles from Perimeter and is usually my first stop before moving further North. The folks at the station as well as the Subway are all super friendly, and to top it all, they actually have an area in front of the Subway counter that offers a fairly decent variety of coffee, from your regular French roast to hazelnut flavored coffee. Always a pleasure to stop for a 6″ sub and a coffee! Gives me the opportunity to stretch a bit, grab a quick bite and go on with my trip that usually last about 9hrs total for the round trip: o) I’d say I give this place a 3.5 stars for its convenient location on the US19 on the way to Deals Gap, its friendly staff and the cleanliness of the place. Never been disappointed in the last 3 years, at various seasons. A ++ given to the coffee selection: o) Cheers folks!
