The owner Chris allowed us to host a watch party for the season première of Scandal. Wine Thirty was the PERFECT setting for the occasion, from the layout to the décor and of course to the wine. The staff was amazing from the moment they saw us walking in. Helpful, friendly, accommodating in every way. We really could not have asked for a better venue. The cheese trays are excellent, their house made hummus is amazing, the bon bons are ridiculously good and I’m just waiting to try to grilled pimiento cheese next! All in all… it’s a great place to enjoy a little down time and possibly make a few friends. We will be back!

With 5 stars, Unilocal says«Woohoo! As good as it gets». I have to say I agree. What a cool concept and place. Sample 3 wines in a flight and order a glass of your favorite, perfect way to start your evening. Chris’s knowledge of wine is fantastic and the place is very clean and welcoming. Even folks like myself, who know virtually nothing about wine, other than I like it! We will be back.

Lovely place, great ambience and tucked away in of all places, Murphy. The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars is the price. Their tasting are ranged from $ 10 – 15 for 3 glasses with very little wine. I’ve been to other places with better wine tastings for as low as $ 6 including some of their expensive bottles. Would come back if I’m in the area and wanting a glass of good wine.

Just spent a wonderful evening at Wine Thirty in of all places, Murphy, Texas. What a delightful and refreshing change from the chain restaurant experiences of the burbs! The ambiance is warm and welcoming and the patio, lined with potted herbs and lavender used in the food, made you forget you were in a shopping center setting. A diverse selection of wines for all pallets and price ranges plus some of the best food I’ve had outside of the trendy places in Uptown, etc. Not dinner per se, but delectable flatbread pizzas with unique toppings, cheese to die for and desserts that were marvelous. If you are tired of the same ol’ same ol’, try this small wine bar for a change of pace… literally. It was the most relaxing experiemce I’ve had in months! And I must add… the owner is delightful and knowledgable about his offerings and the food he prepares. I’ll be back!

Great wine advice and new things to try. Delicious cheese platter, bread and olive oil, charcuterie. Very knowledgable on wines. Great place to explore wineries. We enjoyed the flights. We had the opportunity to try 5 different wines and found a new favorite. They have a variety of California, Texas, French, and Italian wines. Oh, and Chile and Argentina! It’s quiet, cozy, and friendly. Great for an afternoon on the patio or evening inside.

Some nice wine selections and homey décor… Too much going on for a relaxing spot tonight though… Country music, bright lights, while American Idol is going. The valentines menu they are advertising sure does look yummy though Looking forward to what they add to the menu… It’s a great location and certainly the type of hang out we need in Murphy other than chain restaurants/bars.

Wine Thirty is a delight with it’s chic décor; but has a family-friendly sort of vibe. Chris and Claudia(owners) are there all the time and are great wine hosts. We enjoyed a nice sampling. Lots of wines to try with very fair prices. Great to have a wine bar in this area… they are unique! They are BRANDNEW(open maybe 30 days) so be fair.(Just ignore AS’s page long rant: we saw her fly off on her broom). We’ve been 2 times and love it! Cheers!

Very disappointed. My husband and I love wine so we were thrilled when a wine bar opened up in Murphy. I gave it 2 stars because It’s a cute little place with great atmosphere and the wine was pretty good. The downside? The service was awful!!! First off, the staff should be familiar with the cheese menu when most are exotic cheeses no one knows how to pronounce. The waitress said she had no idea how to pronounce them and proceeded to bring the whole hunks of cheese out to us in their plastic wrap and referred to it as a hard cheese and a soft cheese. You would think the staff would have tried it to make recommendations to customers. Then she spilled wine all over while pouring. Our meat came out way after our cheese when you would think they would come together. It also still had the salami casing on it that we had to peel off. The plates were plastic cheap dishes that just was in poor taste. It was overall just a cheap experience for the price.
