Fast service. As a regular donator, I know good staff, and this place has it. Comfy and new chairs and my phlebotomist sat with me while I donated. No issues with the stick or blood letting :) Needle removal was super fast and I felt nothing, so bravo! Nice selection of snacks and juice/water for replenishing.

I’ve only been here twice, but I tell you what! Both times have been a very pleasant experience. Everyone has been extremely helpful, fun, good attitudes etc. Who knew donating blood could be such a great experience? Overall, five stars :)

It’s a Red Cross. I mean these people try to save lives. I don’t know, maybe the entity as a whole is crooked. But the people working there believe they’re doing a good work, and the people who donate want to save lives. Trust me, I don’t go here on my own decisions. It takes some coercing from the girlfriend. But afterwards she treats me to Red Lobster. So I guess I can save some lives today…

The blood donation part was great.(I actually donated at one of their mobile events) What I hated was the constant harassment I have since received to donate again. For a period of about a month they called me EVERYDAY to get me to donate again. Finally, after the second time begging their call center goon to release me I think I’m off the list. From here on out I’m only donating with ARUP. They are a lot less obnoxious.

My favorite center in Utah. I love donating platelets here. The staff is awesome and will make sure you’re totally comfortable.

Friendly and helpful staff — I was in and out in about 40 minutes. Least painful donation I’ve ever given!

On one hand, I saw them handle a donor reaction really well. Everything was clean and the cookies and juice were delicious. On the other hand, I overheard off color jokes(one about rape!). Not professional guys. I don’t think they knew I could hear them talking, but I could. It is really important to not talk like that at work so that more people donate blood. I can’t imagine that other employees enjoy hearing that stuff either. The red cross does good work but needs to work on the professionalism of the donation techs.

Be sure to check my original review, for all the informative goodness. Whole blood, double reds, they do it all. I’ve been back a few times(boy, they hound you when your time comes up — as they should) and had nothing but pros. I was devastated when they stopped carrying the white grape peach juice, and the snacks have gone downhill. But, as it turns out, that’s not why I go. Don’t be afraid if you’ve never donated. There are lots of good people there to walk you through it and answer questions. And if you’re an old pro, they’ll rock you in and out of there quick and get you back on your way.
