Apple Spice Junction

Ordered lunch from Apple Spice junction as part of a work event. Got the Vegetarian Executive Lunch box that comes with a vegetarian sandwich, a small cheese cake, veggies with a dip and chips. The quality of the sandwich was good, with fresh veggies and a good cheesecake and dip. The bread was too sweet to my liking though. Also, it is a cold sandwich with complete raw ingredients. I personally like a hot/​grilled sandwich. Overall a decent lunch.

Apple Spice is the coolest place. The girls up front are very friendly. They know my name and make me want to come back. The food is great!

They really need to get their act together over there. Co workers wanted ASJ today. I called at 12:10 and the lady said they had a driver there and could «run it right over.» I’m less then 2 blocks away. I ordered 7 items. Called again at 12:35 and the lady said «it’s on the schedule for 12:45.» Really? I’m so sick of the crappy customer service of this place where you call and they tell you one thing but in reality, do something wrong.
The last time they comped me 4 meals. I don’t care if they comp me 400, I’ll never order from them again.

My colleague recommended this place for lunch, and I was surprised to find out that you can actually sit down and eat here. For all the years I’ve been driving by this place, I thought it solely offered catering services since that is all that’s advertised on their windows and sign.
For less than $ 10 I got half of their Chicken croissant sandwich and a cup of their Tortilla soup. Both very delicious!
The eating area was clean, open, and pretty inviting. The staff was both extremely friendly and accommodating. A few of the people I was with had problems with their orders (missing side salad, Potato Soup tasting funny) and the staff showed no trouble at all to help out! They even gave us cookies that weren’t included with our order!
All in all, I was pretty impressed with this place and I’m sure I’ll be back.

Apple Spice has wonderful salads and soups, but I was a little disappointed in the sandwich. I got the Turkey Avocado and it had only two thin slices of turkey and I struggled to find the avocado. Their bread was quite sweet as well. The service is very good, as are the prices. I got their peanut butter chocolate rice krispy treat on recommendation from the cashier and it was yummy but INCREDIBLY sweet, even for a rice krispy treat. Don’t come here if you want to get some work or homework done, the entire time I was there, there were children screaming and lots of business people trying to talk over them. I had headphones in and the volume up and still struggled to focus. This is a good choice if you are looking for something healthy and decently priced to go or for a catering event. Also, they use RC Willeys wifi and it is pretty slow.

Placed a large order (12 Office Favorite executives) at about 10:30 this morning. I called to make sure the large order on short notice would be okay. They were very polite and professional on the phone and let me know that it wouldn’t be a problem. I finished placing the order online. I had made a mistake on one of the sides I chose and instead of just making an assumption and throwing their choice in, they called to clarify. The order arrived 10 minutes early. Their staff is so friendly and professional and the food was Fantastic! Great Deal for all of the food you get! Will definitely order from them for our next Corporate meeting!

Apple Spice Junction serves up some tasty sandwiches at this Fort Union location. Although I haven’t tried very many items on their menu, I have enjoyed the sandwiches I’ve ordered there. It surprises me that there are some very negative reviews for Apple Spice, but I suppose everyone has different tastes and expectations. My wife and I have eaten here several times and always enjoyed our food. I would recommend this as a good lunch spot. They also provide box lunches and catering if needed.

I’m a little disappointed in this place. It’s conveniently located close to work for me but in my opinion the food was bland and overpriced ($ 9 for half a egg salad sandwich and a bag of chips? Not counting the tip). I brought my laptop to use the free WiFi and it took 35 minutes to just connect. Kind of sucky if you only have 1 hour lunch. They weren’t helpful at all (can’t blame them, they were teenagers who looked confused and couldn’t care less if you were there or not) and wanted to get right back to their private conversation.
Next time I want free wifi I’ll just go to the McDonalds three blocks away — plus they have better food!

I had always thought this place was a furniture store until my girlfriend told me we needed to check it out. I was deciding between the Turkey Avocado or the Curry Chicken. They were out of avocado so it made my choice a lot easier. I actually didn’t really like my sandwich, but it was my own fault really. Had a lot of onions and was served cold… had I decided to read the menu, I would have seen that. The curry was good, but would have preferred it hot. Price was pretty high and the sammich was pretty small. I’ll probably give it another try soon.

Overpriced and understuffed.
Average, hum-​drum, unexceptional, so-​so, fair to middling, characterless, blah.
OK, I admit it. I used thesauras. com. I just didn’t want to repeat the word «mediocre» seven times.

«Oh,» she said when I told her where I had had lunch. «Average.»
Yep. That pretty much about sums it up. Average.
Apple Spice is quaintly named, and I think I even detected a note of a cinnamon in the air when I walked in. However, when I left, I realized I didn’t have a lot of wonderful to say about it.
My sandwich? A turkey on wheat with lettuce and tomato. I could have made it myself, but just wasn’t that great. If I wanted to make it myself, I would have.
My soup? A clam chowder that was less chowder and more soup.
My cookie? Chocolate, but no better than any I had ever made.
Verdict? No complaints, but no real accolades, either. An almost forgettable experience. Just average.

Apple Spice is A-​Ok. Nothing more, nothing less.
They do have a great variety of breads to choose from and some very good sandwiches.
There is just nothing here that jumps off the menu for me.
You’ll get a good quality sandwich, decent soups and salads (althought the pasta has way too much mayo for me) and a nice cookie for dessert.
Nothing wrong with Apple Spice.

About once a week I get a craving for the delicious salads and sandwiches at Apple Spice. The portions are huge and are easily shared. The food always tastes delicious and I come away satisfied.
If you call in an order, they have it quickly ready for pick up or you can even have it delivered if you have time to wait, which my office has done from time to time.
I definitely recommend this for a lunch time spot.
