Pagliai’s Pizza

On the final college moveout day, my daughter took me to Pagliai’s. This is the place the local Rotary Club eats on Thursdays, which is a pretty reliable indicator of value-​priced good food. First of all, this place is rather spacious, it could have handled a lot more people than we saw on a Wednesday night. Also, even with the pizza ovens and on a 90+ degree day, the room temperature was comfortable.
Our server was fantastic! She told what pizzas were on the pizza bar, and asked if we’d like to put in a request, which we did. When that particular pizza appeared on the pizza bar, she came back to let us know. Pizza, simple salad, and soda, a college-​town feast, all-​you-​can eat, and I’m sure we paid less than $ 10/​person before tax and tip. Wish I’d found Pagliai’s before my final trip to Murray!

I have family & friends in Murray Kentucky, therefore I make it to Murray several times a year. My trip to Murray is not complete without a stop to Pagliai’s. The pizza is absolutely divine! The buffet is a great option on a busy night, say a Friday or something (that way you get the full spread on the buffet). The desert pizza is unreal good. The buffet even includes soft serve ice cream with a full spread of toppings; how cool is that!
This restaurant is good for parties, business meetings, kids (there is an arcade & even a ball pit for the smaller kids), or just someone that wants to get what in my experience is one of the greatest pizzas I have ever had.
I am extremely stingy with my 5 star Unilocal restaurant ratings, but Pagliai’s Pizza of Murray Kentucky deserves it without question.

My first stop when I return to Murray. As a student at Murray it was my favorite and still is.
I always get the thin crust. Its the thinnest crust you get anywhere. Nobody has a pizza that taste similar to it. Its great and it’s unique
Sometimes I do the buffet but most times just order a Pizza.
Pizza is my favorite food and this is my favorite pizza place in any city I have been to

I think of this place often. Haven’t been back to Murray in a few years. Would like to have a few slices of this pizza when I visit though! Great place for kids!
