Truly the best burger in town. Monday special cheeseburger in paradise for $ 5 was amazing. Definitely a local hole in the wall but worth it! I will be back next year!

My wife and I stopped here and really enjoyed the food. We had Chicken Salad Sandwich, and the Baby Back Ribs which were absolutely awesome, the Burgers are very good as well. And the waitresses Cindy and Carmela really take good care of the customers, they are both sweethearts. Andrew was a big help as well, a very nice man. Can’t wait to go back and try the seafood which they say is great as well. From our experience this is some of the best food and service on the Strand! We go in to eat between 11am and 3 pm and we call any orders in after that time frame of which it can become very crowded and loud.
And the sign on the door says NO SMOKING thank God!

This has to be the slowest place I have ever experienced. In the middle of the day and the service is horrible. Last time I stop in.

We arrived a little before 2pm on a Friday. It took 15 minutes to to get service. Our food arrived at 255pm. We were missing 1 member of our party’s plate. It took another 10 minutes to get the missing platter. No one offered an apology and certainly didn’t offer to take anything off the bill.

There is nothing cozy and sweet about this place– it’s a good old fashioned dive bar. It’s noisy and crowded, and they allow smoking inside at the bar!
That being said, they have the best ribs I’ve ever had! Tuesday and Thursday is their rib special so it’s especially busy those nights and you will have to wait for a table.
The ribs are so worth the wait though! Sauce is amazing, but they don’t drown them in it! The meat is delicious and moist, with a great smoky flavor. Their fries are good too! Nice and crispy.
Despite the crowded bar atmosphere, it’s still a fairly enjoyable place to eat. People never get rowdy and I’ve had some pleasant conversations with people at neighboring tables. The waitresses are also always very pleasant.
TLDR; go for the ribs! Heaven!

Now it’s non smoking. We have a big deck in the back and seats out front for smokers who still want to come and enjoy the restaurant/​bar atmosphere. The food is always great and the people are awesome. The wait staff at Greg’s is great, they do get swamped but always get to you. Enjoy

Great food, service ok, definitely a dive. We were skeptical about going after reading the mixed reviews but we were pleasantly surprised on how good the food was. As for the smoke they had a filtration system fan that minimized it. We didn’t even notice the smoke until we began looking for it.

The place to go! Their nightly specials are super good and super priced. The place looks really small from the outside especially because of its 8 car parking lot. Don’t bypass it, either park at Walmart or along the street, it’s worth it. We have been there twice in a week. My mother goes once a week, never a bad meal. It’s not fancy just good food, good portions and fast service at good prices.

our time in was around 8:30p we stopped at Walmart and walked over… Started with a friendly hello… after placing order the food came out the Burger was on point the fried chips cold. the only feed back about service would be, it’s OK to Wrk on ur side Wrk but don’t forget about the beverages.

Friendly staff but as for the food only part i liked where the fries, i ordered a cheddar bacon burger and when they brought it out to me i took one bite and couldn’t finish it was so burnt. Also people where smoking right beside us which was gross as your trying to eat and all outside it smelled like garbage it was totally disgusting i will not be going back

The food is okay at best, best part of our meal were the fries. after we left the outside smelled like garbage witch we didn’t smell on the way in. The bathrooms were disgusting and you can smoke inside the restaurant!!! Definitely a turnoff, needless to say the food was edible but no I will not go back

There are about a dozen TVs lining the place for what should be a great sports-​viewing venue, yet literally every single one is without HD. There’s absolutely no excuse for this in 2015.
It’s simple: If you have televisions capable of displaying HD, they are entirely obsolete unless you actually feed an HD signal into them. Otherwise, you’re better off with the old TVs with fat backs.

Well all I can say is yum. The chicken sandwich was amazing !! We will be back soon !!

Awesome food gets them 5 stars. Awful antiquated smoking policy plus Chuck E Cheese games 1 star. Any educated business person understands No Smoking INCREASES business. It’s not 1965 people.
I used to go in by myself but no longer go with my wife, guests, children or grandchildren because unfortunately the place smells. Have reduced our visits to carry out only because of the stench. Even with carry out you still have to shower to get the smoke stink off and throw your clothes in the laundry. Ridiculous.
Owner should get a different location for the awesome food and leave the current building for the dive bar people. Wise up.

Great bar food, with reasonable prices. Daily specials bring in the locals. Recent elimination of draft beer and over reliance on games and contests makes one consider other choices and prevents 5 star rating.

Great local tavern. Fall off the bone ribs. Cold beer. And a stimulating round of bar bingo. Full of locals so you know it’s good.

OMGOSH! The Bayou Burger was delicious and super spicy! Love love loved it! Really hate when I order something that is called ‘spicy’ but when I get it, I’m saying ‘where’s the spice?!”.
How in the world we were able to get 5 seats at the bar is beyond me. Therefore, we were helped and waited on quite consistently. This is a small place and they became super packed, shoulder to shoulder, when we were there.
We will definitely be back.
