Those who know Tijuana or Tecate style tacos know that this pace is as close as you can get. I had the lengua tacos and the al pasor tacos. They we’re super good! Would’ve had the tripa but they were all out. In their defense, I did walk in 15 min. before closing. I will definitely be back! Only next time with the wife and kids! Service was great and pretty quick. The Gentleman as the register was very cordial and friendly. I wasn’t too crazy about the horchata though. It left an aftertaste I wasn’t crazy about. Other than that, I was very pleased!

Loved their food! I had them cater my wedding reception and although you can find much cheaper taco truck caters it’s hard to find one that will cater fish tacos. The manager at Tacos Tijuana let me trade one of my traditional meat choices for fish tacos and everyone at the wedding was so happy to see fish tacos as an option. They had to make the fish ahead of time but it still tasted great and was a hit. All of the other food was cooked on site and the size of the tacos were bigger than expected. The only trouble I ran into was some of the staff wasn’t familiar with the catering options/pricing and they tried to sell me extras that were included in the pricing. Fortunately the manager drove over quickly to resolve the confusion. All in all I was extremely satisfied with their service.

Good service but food left much to be desired. Way too overpriced for the quality and quantity of the food. Once I ordered, I regretted coming here. Staff was friendly but it was difficult to communicate with. I’m pretty sure I was overcharged

I love the staff. They’re always nice and take good care of their customers. The food is amazing. Their carne asada is brilliantly cooked and it’s amazing in their tacos, burritos and carne asadas. I’m a big fan of the California burrito with guacamole, the chicken quesadilla and the carne asada tacos with guacamole. I always stop in when in when I drive down Murrieta Hot Springs.

I was suprised they pulled some already cooked meat out of a tupperware and heated it up, and it still isnt cooked properly. Aztec in Temecula is so much better!(I believe they came from Tacos Tijuana), but i come here all the time and its going downhill for sure

I have been going to Tacos T for over 8 years. They have never failed or disappointed. They are so delicious. The NY steak as Shrimp Burrito is my go-to when I feel like splurging a little bit. But their simple tacos are perfection as well!

Not good at all… Yah, food purchased in Tijuana and sold days later here. Too expensive, no chips with your meal… Fast food taste better…

There’s a standard we all set for«taco shops» yes we know there not«authentic homemade Mex food» but… They try and for a fast food joint its acceptable, right? Wrong! I have got to say I have had good taco shop food and bad but this was the worst EVER OVERPRICED(I don’t mind paying $ 10-$ 13 for a combo at a taco shop) I asked the older guy are the tortillas big or small tj taco size? He replied big very big not small. I had the carne asada 2 taco combo(thinking no one can mess up carne asada, you just add salt and cook it through). When we received it the tortillas were small tortillas, eggo waffles are bigger lol also my meat was under cooked(blood was still coming out) it had no flavor what so ever and the tortillas were ice cold(they broke in half when I picked it up to eat it). I still have rice and beans I thought I’m home free… Well not so much the beans tasted like lemon or as if they were spoiling(they were canned beans!) The rice was salty and undercooked as well, which seeing how I’m a chef has only one explanatio. The rice was instant rice(really ??? I thought to myself, rice and beans are the cheapest things to make). My husband ordered a carne asada burrito. It was the same bloody meat, of course he ate half of it before realizing what that flavor was lol. He opened it to add salt(which he NEVER does) to anything not even sugar. It was 8:45 pm so to late to go elsewhere, well at least the dog enjoyed his meal ! My advice GOELSEWHERE they lie to get sales. There are plenty of taco that don’t use fake beans and rice. We should set our standards a little higher maybe the restaurant/taco shop will actually try to put out a worthy menu and recipe. Enjoy!

Good but not great. I kept with simple with 3 al pastor tacos and was expecting them to be a descent size for over $ 2 each. Nope, they were small street tacos and not worth the money. I did enjoy their salsa bar and the service was nice, but I would pass on the tacos next time. They have a great menu, tons of options, burritos at around $ 6 seem to be a better value. My sons kids meal was also a bit lackluster with a small not really warm quesadilla and soggy fries, I would get him something else next time as well. 3 stars for nice and fast service as well as the salsa bar, the rest needs a bit of work.

Food is always good. Carne asada is the best, chicken needs some work. The quesadillas are delicious.

The rice is extremely good and so is the pineapple drink they have. I had a chicken, carne Asada, and Al Pastor taco. The chicken was really dry. The carne Asada was very greasy, and the al pastor was okay not too bad. I feel like the prices for the tacos are kinda high. I shouldn’t have to pay 2.30 for each tacos. Not worth it.

I’ve been here before… and it was good, not great. Now… it’s a mere 2 stars. When I come to Temecula to visit family(which is often) we would stop here once in a while and the food was ok. Nothing great to speak of but it was tasty and filled our belly’s Today though, the service was lame. The young kid behind the counter wasn’t on his game(could have been because his female friend was sitting in front of him and he kept sitting with her whenever there wasn’t a customer before him). There wasn’t anyone there managing the flow of food. They didn’t even give out receipts with and order number or any way for them to recognize who ordered what. As the food came out, the kid just walked around with the food trying to remember who ordered what. My wife’s meal was served a bit cold. My Carne Asada fries didn’t come when her food came. Now, there were about 3 – 5 people after us who ordered their food and they all got their food before me! I finally asked about my order and they then proceeded to prepare it. Not happy. I see my food on the counter among the to-go orders so I just get up and retrieve my own food. Once again… the service needed attention. My Carne asada fries look good from a far but far from good. The carne asada itself had no flavor at all. My wifes lunch contained carne asada was the same. Maybe they ran out of salt and spices and thought it would be ok to keep on cooking the meat. I left disappointed. A wasted meal of no flavor. I told my family that lives in the area about my experience and they commented the same. They said the restaurant used to be really good, but as of late it has gotten terrible. I won’t be returning unless my family tells me it has gotten better and then, maybe then, I will give it another try.

Service was good and it was clean inside. Food looked good and we had high hopes but unfortunately we were disappointed. Carne asada was flavorless and overcooked, pastor was greasy with no flavor as well. Salsas were watery and bland, we were really disappointed and will have to keep searching for good tacos in Murrieta.

Oh my gosh this place is such a great discovery! Tucked back in the parking lot, this place is a great find. Their chicken makes it one of the best taco places in town. The chicken is nice delicious white meat, chopped in big cubes, grilled and seasoned with a Chipotle chili powder and topped with their take on a chipotle thousand island dressing, along with a creamy avocado sauce. This is both in their tacos and burritos. The portions are huge, you have to nearly eat their tacos with a fork on a plate. This place is so scrumptious!

Don’t get me wrong, their food is amazing, and staff is super friendly… That being said, tonight I found not one, but five strands of hair in my burrito. I have worked in the food business for five years, and have always been envious of cooks not having to wear hairnets like I do, until tonight. Please make sure your cooks and anyone handling the food be up to health standards. Wear hairnets or even hats. And make sure the men cooking shave their beards off. I don’t think I’ll be coming back after this incident

Not too many Mexican restaurants around Murrieta serve quality food. This place has the best AL Pastor(spicy pork) tacos around. Prices are a bit higher but you definitely get your money’s work. Staff was great prompt service friendly atmosphere.

Nah bro. I ordered the birria tacos. Tortilla was good and it all fell apart after that. The birria was dry and bland. This made my heart cry. I’m glad I only ordered two. Two too many. I don’t care if I got free flan. It was old and stale. I was glad to see that they made tortillas from scratch, but if you fill it with crap it doesn’t matter now does it? Salsas were good. First time, last time.
