Woomi Sushi

Wow!!! My husband and i moved to murrieta about a year ago from Irvine and we have been on the hunt for a amazing sushi place!!! Well we found it! We were impressed by the speediness, cleanliness, accommodations for kids (11 m old twins), prices and best of all the FOOD! We decided to try a lil of everything… The spicy albacore sushi & the murrieta roll were wonderful. The teriyaki bento box was so flavorful we’ll be sure to order it all again! Finally we have a sushi place as good as home!!! Thank you!

So I been coming here for at least a couple of years and the service is hit or miss. There is alot of turn over with employees when it comes with the staff. I understand now why. Today I was perturb that when I place my phone order for pick up I recieved a nasty attitude from a girl and didnt even let me finish my order when the clerk was ready to hang up?! When I get there I encounter the same person I dealt with on the phone but didnt pay no mind. When I got home which is across town n open my food up wrong order! I called back and same rude girl was giving me attitude AGAIN! REALLY? When I orginally place my order I repeated my order 3 times and she still couldnt get it right! HELLO! SO when I went back across town! to get my right order they still wanted to charge the difference of 11CENT! HAHAHA ok I paid it but for real come on what about my gas?!? Well needless to say I’ve had better experience there. The sushi is meh o-​k the reason I used to go there was the lunch specials but I guess I’ll find somewhere else to get my sushi cravings… Did i mention that they even forgot to put the sauce! OMG SMH@WOOMISUSHI!

I have always wanted to try this place. Unfortunately it was not worth the visit. We were sat in less than five minutes which was great! But when we sat down we waited over 20 minutes to even be greeted by our server who was running around screaming across the dining room to the other servers. We received our drinks and then waited another 20 minutes to put in our order. We hoped the food would be good and the calamari crunch roll and Alaska roll were great! The problem occurred when we ordered to philly hand rolls. Being a chef by trade I was amazed that the sushi chefs that prepared our meal had left Saran Wrap inside the roll. My girlfriend discovered it by choking on it and coughing it out. When we told our server about our experience she said that «the chefs use it to roll the sushi». Yes I understand how sushi is made but no Saran Wrap is supposed to be left over, especially inside of the roll itself. Check how your kitchen is ran and it might save you from the health inspector shutting this place down. Seeing as I’m not the only reviewer that food an inedible item in my food.

They’ve done a lot of renovations recently, which is great! They made place look so much nicer! But I do miss the booths.
I’ve always thought Woomi sushi had just o-​k sushi. Nothing spectacular, but it’s my brother’s favorite sushi spot and as a good sister, I always take him here whenever he wants! There are always deals on sushi here basically everyday. They have select rolls that are around 10%-20% off Monday thru Sunday from opening to sometime before the evening I believe.
Service here is always just alright too.
If you want to get cheap/​affordable sushi that is decent (not the «omg so friggin’ good» sushi), this is your place!

Pocky is an amazing server, atmosphere is clean and friendly. Third time I have been here.
Each time it has been amazing, great for intimate dates or just throwing backs some sushi or maybe even the times were getting rowdy throwing back some sake! Pocky took it on himself to make suggestions for us to try! Even a sushi veteran loves getting the chefs suggestions. Kanpai!

I’m here literally every week or every other week. The sushi honestly is pretty good and you can’t beat the prices. All you can eat is normal like $ 20. Definitely not the best I’ve had, but I’ll keep coming back!

Amazing sushi, great service! They have a great deal on all you can eat! And they give free enaname to the regulars. The servers are very attentive. My husband and I come at least once a week

Went for lunch with my girlfriend. We sat in seconds and the waitress was absolutely amazing. My girlfriend always orders water with lemon but at other restaurants she always has a couple more times for lemon but here she got it right the first time. We ordered miso soup and got it within a minute or 2. One thing we also noticed is that they redid the inside of the place and it looks great! We got a crunchy roll and a dragon roll and it was absolutely delicious. Also the price is great! I am only 17 and I can afford to take my girlfriend out to lunch here at woomi! I would have to say this is our favorite to come and enjoy really quality sushi and service. We are definitely becoming regulars here

MMmmMM My favorite ayce when I’m back in Temecula! I love this place… Ive been coming here for years and the sushi tastes great. I love the new renovations compared to the old woomi style. I will continue to come here while I’m in the area!

Hands down the WORSE Sushi I have ever had! I got from the express order and both appetizers and sushi was horrific. My husband could literally eat anything… BUT not this. Nothing was fresh about this place.

The value is what keeps me coming back here. Sure there could be improvements to the atmosphere and even the food, however, the quality far exceeds the expectation with these prices.

Food is delicious! Great music and atmosphere! Phenomenal service! Welcoming crew! Opted for the AYCE option for both my husband and I, absolutely loved it! This is now my go to place for sushi!

I have been coming here quite often lately and I have no complaints. The food is great and the service is top notch.
I typically get their all you can eat, the pricing is the same as higher end places but the quality is the same to me. I wish it was cheaper but hey, it is what it is.

Not crazy about this place by any stretch. The sushi is just okay… And who wants raw fish that is just ok? I can have ‘just ok’ pizza and just an ok sandwich… but not sushi.
The rolls are hit or miss for me. Sometimes they are giant pieces with too much going on. Sometimes the fish doesn’t taste fresh (maybe that’s why there is an all you can eat option?). But this is only sometimes. Otherwise, the sushi here is actually pretty good. But my 3 stars are reflective of inconsistent product and service (we’ve had a couple rude waitresses while others were sweethearts). Unfortunately because of this inconsistency, we do not feel an urge to make our way back.

We asked to be seated at a bigger table, due to the fact that we’re on our lunch but have our laptops and still have a deadline to meet. The chubby waitress replied sorry we save those tables for big parties.
We were seated at a 2 seater and did not fit!

I definitely like this place for it’s food and not so horrible prices. If service is a thing you strive for then maybe this isn’t exactly the place for you. Service here is always a bit lacking but since it’s not the worst in the world if recommend stopping in. They have specials on rolls such as the 30−50% off which make a California Roll as low as $ 2.78 can complain about that. They have a n All you can eat option which really isn’t too unreasonable if you choose accordingly. I had the baby lobster roll today and my wife had the chicken teriyaki which were both delicious. Service was slow, and by that I mean it’s far and few between you see a server, so be ready when they come. I give ⁴⁄₅ since service really isn’t my gripe but I can’t give the 5 because of it. Food is DELICIOUS every time.

A sushi fanatic (cooked anyway!) and the rolls were amazing as well as the service. Jimmy was very nice and recommended what rolls we should try. Its a fairly large establishment with a good sized bar. We came mid day and mid week so it wasn’t too busy. We will definitely come back. I highly recommend the Las Vegas roll ;)

Haven’t been back here in a while. Decided to come here to celebrate my husbands birthday. The place has new owners and new management.
They made some changes to the place making it more open, but it’s too open. From our table we were able to see the serving station, like literally EVERYTHING! They also had what seemed like pallets of assorted beer right smack in the middle of the place.
They really need to organize the place more and renovate everything on the inside. Booths and tables are old, most of the seats are ripped. The décor is old and dingy. And the flow and placement needs to be more organized. Customers should not be able to see the servers station.
Overall, food is still good. Just needs some garnishment to look more appetizing. Seems like they just make the sushi and plop it onto a dish. No decoration or anything.

Update: don’t expect any change from the new ownership They’ve only changed the décor a bit and increased pricing.
Ok this place really lacks in customer service (I’ve been here before 3 – 4 years ago and it was the same), and the fish during my visit was just average. What I like is the 30−50% off rolls.
So a 8 piece California roll is only $ 2.78, and a dragon roll is $ 6.25. That’s just a couple examples. Mostly all basic rolls are $ 2.78, and more detailed rolls with fish on top are in the $ 6 – 7 range. There is also an AYCE option for $ 19.99.
The only problem like I mentioned earlier, the half off rolls are fairly basic. They’re not decorated, and they’re AYCE quality, but for the price it’s ok.
