it is what it is a good steak sandwich, i ate a large and it was great. We been coming here a couple of years, open late like 2am in the summer, I always like what I get. It’s not the cleanest lobby, or the most outgoing people. But it’s quick fresh and good.

So sick of ppl talking about how dirty it is, you can see that it’s a hole in the wall before you get out of your car… but the always have an A rating on there door. Best Philly I’ve ever had… but I haven’t been to Philly soooo lol. Great food, great people!!! U want clean and proper, go to a franchise restaurant.

Please. Let me stop you from wasting your money. This place is a sh*t hole. It’s dirty, disgusting and the food is just nasty. Full of gristle and a really odd taste. Please. Don’t waste your money.

This place is so dirty!!! None of the tables were wiped off, the drink machines have not been cleaned in a very long time, the floors were covered in trash and old food. Do NOT drink the tea, it tastes like it was brewed with ocean water, but is probably due to the mold growing in the container it’s stored in. And to top it off, the food was not close to being acceptable. The fries weren’t fully cooked, and the steak sub will make sure you spend a lot of time in the nearest bathroom. Eat here at your own risk, as YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! P. S. The one star is only because you can’t rate with none. Sorry Best of Philly, but our family has given this restaurant two chances, and both were fails. See ya never again, and we’re totally fine with that.

The appearance is less than desirable and not the type of place I would have stopped had it not been for the reviews on Unilocal.
I got a cheese steak to go just to see if it was any good. It was excellent, would definitely go back and order takeout, would not take my family of 6 here to dine in. No public restroom unless it was the type you had to go outside behind the building.
I gave 3 stars overall, but just reviewing the food I would give 4.5.
Would have had liked to have some more condiments available such as Texas pete, steak sauce, etc. Is the reason for not getting a 5.
Large with drink and fries was $ 12 +, would have been great to be under $ 10.00

Philly Cheesesteak is amazing. The gyro is okay. The staff is nice. The fountain drinks aren’t carbonated. The restaurant isn’t exactly clean. But again, the Philly cheesesteak is awesome.

For a little hole in the wall place it was priced right and the food was better then expected. You definitely don’t go to it looking for a gourmet meal but the single cheeseburger is a good size for the price. Also, no complaints about the size or quality of the chicken Philly. I would recommend it for the lunch break while out walking around.

This place is a bit of a dive, but I mean that in the nicest way possible! We stopped in there for a late night snack during our recent trip to Myrtle Beach, ending up going back there for lunch a couple of days later. We try to avoid eating at the same place twice while travelling, but had to make an exception in this case. We had steak sandwiches and wings, and both were amazing.

Definitely a hole in the wall looking place. Didn’t notice that the ceiling tiles above us has something dripping (hoping it was water) until after our food arrived. Food was ok. Lots of other places to eat though.

Great Philly sandwich. Small hole in the wall type of place. Good place to stop for a quick bite. Open late too!
Take my word for it– better than the sandwich I had a few weeks ago in Philly.

I was here just over a year ago but I recall it being tasty. Unilocal suggested I review it, I must have posted pictures or checked in. I remember enjoying my meal and loving my philly. Definitely big enough to share! Delicously cheesy and fresh :) A smidge pricey.
