Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

This was not my first trip to a Cracker Barrel, but I think it was my first time for breakfast and definitely my first trip to this particular store. Had eggs, bacon and 4 pieces of French toast. Service was perfect, attentive but not intrusive.

We visited when our relatives were in town. The food was great. We especially enjoyed the hot apple dumpling. The server was definitely on her A game. Definitely a great experience.

Usually I would give this location 5 stars. This visit however after talking our order our server disappeared. I sat with an empty coffee cup and a glass of Dr. Pepper that was not drinkable due to it being the last of the syrup for more than 20 minutes. We doesn’t have anyone come to our table until our food was brought to us. The young lady that brought or food (Amanda) got me coffee and took away the soda, then went and got everything we needed and came back by before or server came back to mention that she took the bad soda off. I didn’t get our servers name but Amanda saved the day and is the reason for the three stars. I will come back and will ask for Amanda.

As always the food was great, but Devin H our server was exceptional!!! Just wish I wasn’t on vacation, I would have tried to recruit her to work with us at Mercedes benz. That’s the kind of individual we look for. Again great job Devin H!!!

Food is good the service was a bit slow like the waiter forgot our food but she tried making a come back at the end would have gotten 4 star but she forgot man smh

Sunday at Cracker Barrel ranks among the busiest places on earth, definitely among the crazed and starved food and beverage crowd just after late afternoon mass ended.
A table for two happened to free up and although it was a breakfasts meal I ordered for lunch, there was no issue. I guess breakfast is served all day and my selection, whose name currently evades me was enormous, i was victimized by the meal. The Uncle So and So, (Uncle Jesse perhaps?) paired biscuits and gravy with hash brown casserole, two eggs salted country ham and grits. The biscuits and gravy alone had my belly breaching the button breaking barriers.
The cutest southern peach served up our food and kept complimenting my long hair.
The portions of food at the price point Cracker Barrel maintains throughout the menu always has and remains an incredibly solid deal in my mind for a solid meal.
I do wish the locations were set up differently from store to store, rather than the cookie cutter approach.

Choose any of the other Cracker Barrels in town. You will get at least the quality of food and service you can usually rely on at those. We’ve been sitting in a half empty restaurant for almost 40 minutes with no food. Took our server a good 7 or 8 minutes to even get to our table, despite the plethora of servers and the lack of seated tables. James eventually walked up to our table and was pretty unenthused about really anything. Turns out he was a trainee, and Cindy eventually came up behind him and helped him along. Still waiting on our food. :(

Been there, done that. Not sure why its so crowded. Food tastes very processed.

Good food as usual. Ordered the chicken and rice special last night but was served the chicken and dumplings. Did not send it back and it was of course very good. Only reason for the three stars instead of four. My son had the chicken tenders and he was very happy with his dish. Never have left a Cracker Barrel not happy with their food. Even if it was the wrong dinner.

Never had a bad meal or service at any Cracker Barrel. The food was cooked perfect and they do make basted eggs.

We had a marvelous time here OVERALL. We came around 1pm, and it was packed through the gills, so the wait time for a table/​drinks/​food was extended and testing. But when the food finally arrived, it was FANTASTIC! The Campfire Beef was like butter and didn’t require a knife, just the back of the fork. And the corn it was cooked with adopted the beef flavor, so it was magnificent. Meatloaf was delicious, chicken and dressing was to die for, and the chicken salad was fresh. Once the crowd died down, our waiter Leron was able to talk with us and he was downright charming! Myrtle beach will always pack this place out during mealtime, so be sure to look past the crowds because this place is magnificent!

Chicken N dumplings! Can’t go wrong with those anytime. Cinnamon apples need to come in a gallon sized bowl!

For years, while driving along the east coast, Cracker Barrel has been a staple stop off to stretch our legs, get some good food, and be entertained by their kitchy general store. I even had an accidental «date» at one, but that is another story.
I am writing my review on the Myrtle Beach Cracker Barrel, as this is the one we frequent. This is everything as you would come to expect in a Cracker Barrel’s general store. The restaurant has the honor of having Donna being one of their morning hostesses. She is always cheerful, polite and accommodates our seating preferences when able.
I have ordered everything on the menu, at least once and the meals are reliable. The hash brown casserole is truly amazing. My honey brings me here, as he loves their pancakes. I don’t know what the difference is, but he just loves them here. We’ve had lunch and dinners here too, but he is into the pancakes. All of our meals are delicious and when we pay, we are always asked if everything was alright. The hands down answer is always, absolutely.
We will be back again and again. I look forward to the beautiful smile on Donna’s face when she sees us, every time.

My first experience at this Cracker Barrel was deplorable. When my family and I walked in the retail manager was in an argument with another employee. We then waited 45 minutes for a table because the host forgot to write our name down. When we were finally seated I ordered the farmers breakfast. I ordered my eggs scrambled and when the food arrived there was eggshells in them. I will not be returning.

I eat here often on business trips. I was impressed with a healthy breakfast this morning. Egg beaters, Turkey Bacon, fruit, and tomatoes. Bacon needed a lot more cooking. Egg Beaters were good. Fruit and tomatoes were fresh and delicious. Not sure what was wrong with grits but they were awful. Good service. I have had some delicious meals here. This rating is based upon this visit.

This is my first visit to a Cracker Barrel. I can’t believe I’ve been missing this all my life. Reasonable prices for reasonable portions. I had their Eggs in a Basket with the Hash Casserole. It was so buttery, yolky, and mmmm good. The service was fantastic. Our water was constantly checked. The waiter, Addison, was so nice and friendly. This restaurant has set the bar for other Cracker Barrels.

I will say their breakfast is decent in comparison to the other local places around here. Biscuits are fluffy and the servers are always nice.

Customer service skills are lacking. Locals, and won’t be back for a long time.

Very clean store, friendly staff, delicious good. Everything was great. I love their new lunch specials too. $ 5.99 good price.

My favorite Cracker Barrel. Friendly, fast service and delicious food. I always ordered the chicken fried steak, which is delicious, but recently discovered the burgers. Some of the best hamburgers I’ve had have been at this Cracker Barrel. Shocking, I know. I love walking around the store while I wait for my meal, they’ve had some great sales on Yankee Candles.
