Fresh Brewed Coffee House

You know what sux is when you walk into a place and they have a manual machine, and no one knows how to use it… properly… well this what this place is… it may be a good music place, but definitely do not come here for a cappuccino… it was basically coffee flavored steamed milk…

I think it would be a great place on open mic night or during an event, but on a regular thursday night: it has a slightly dark feel to it especially being in a sketchier looking area.
Only average coffee. I would come back probably with friends but I would go to other places in the first.

Love this coffee shop. The coffee is always great and they make their own syrups. Great atmosphere and fast wifi as well!

Love the coffee, love the people but should change hours on websites. I’ve gone twice and there are people in the coffee house drinking coffee and socializing and I’m told they are not «really open» during hours of operation. It’s a little inconvenient considering I drive 10 miles just for their coffee. It’s also uncomfortable to be turned away while there are other people lounging and drinking coffee with no other further explanation than «we’re not really open».

Friday night, February 26, 2016. Top notch coffee with a staff attentive to their craft (not simply relying on corporate training). Kate made a killer breve latte – a straightforward 4-​shot sweetened with just the right amount of honey. Fresh Brewed had an atmosphere that mixed just the right amount of funky and hometown café. The clientele ranged from hipsters to kids to off-​work professionals to middle aged parents. This was the scene in the front: a guy sat among his friends and played guitar; a few folks sat around the coffee bar chatting and sipping coffee; someone studied at a booth (textbooks and notes spread); a kid played on a tablet on the couch; and I chatted with the baristas. In the back, folks sang on stage to a packed audience of friends and family. (Two of the performers were around 9 or 10 years old, but I believe they were preceded and followed by adult performers… I only hung out for an hour or so before I had to make my way back home. I’m basing this guess on an overheard conversation between an adult performer and another patron.)
In short, a welcoming coffee shop with equal attention to their product and their service. Among the best I’ve visited.

Great atmosphere for a little coffee shop! Unfortunately, that’s where most of the stars come from.
The coffee we ordered was Starbucks quality at best; shots were pulled way too fast and blonde, milk was overly texturized with too much foam (when we ordered a latte). Worth a shot, probably won’t be coming back.

Nice cosy place, highly recommend if you want something different from Starbucks. Great coffee and pleasant atmosphere.

While in myrtle beach, trying to find iced coffee can be a hassle. When I saw there was a 15% off check in deal, I called to see if they offered iced coffee. When arriving, the outside and surrounding area can be a turn off but don’t skip this coffee shop! The inside has a great coffee shop vibe with a nice bar area and some booths for bigger parties. Now my coffee was great! Really enjoyed it and got a lot for a fantastic price. My sister got an iced chai latte and loved it. Would go back next time I’m down in myrtle beach!

Very cute coffee shop! The man that was behind the counter was so friendly, he made our coffee and iced chai’s and gave all of us the 15% off coupon for checking in! He didn’t even see if everyone else checked in, he just gave us the discount. He was telling us about how he is in a band and we told him about the instruments we played. Go there and check in to get the discount!

Very good coffee, lovely atmosphere, and terrific people that work and come here. They do lots of fun stuff… open mic nights… etc. Don’t go to Charbucks… come here or other local coffee places !

Great little café. I had an iced latte and it was well made and refreshing. Come to this place as a nice alternative to Starbucks and Dunkin. Free wifi and a relaxed atmosphere.
4 dollar credit minimum is inconvenient for just getting a double espresso which I frequently do.

What a cute little coffee shop! I was hoping for iced tea but when I asked the barista said they didn’t have any. She then pleasantly listed off the cold beverages they did have and I told her I’d take a moment to decide. While I was thinking, she walked over and said if I wanted, she could just steep some tea and then make it into ice tea — kind of a quick brew iced tea. I was delighted! She didn’t have to do that and the fact that she problem solved to get me some iced tea was very sweet. The iced tea tastes great! My boyfriend had a Costa Rican pour over coffee and it was delicious as well. The shop itself has very artsy décor and a used book shop in the back half, as well as what appeared to be a church! Overall — definitely a place I’d stop again if in town.

All I am saying is Oreo Mocha Frappuccino! As good as it gets. Great coffee house

While vacationing in Myrtle beach in November, we stopped by this coffee shop to grab a late night decaffeinated cup of joe and dessert. Since we weren’t from the area (obviously) we searched on our Unilocal app and found this adorable café. Since we were traveling around Halloween, it looked like there were a lot of people in costume and some sort of themed party in the back.
The service was stellar. We ordered our non-​alcoholic beverages and dessert from the bartender and they were served to us in a decent amount of time. We had to be patient of course because there were about 3 – 4 other customers ahead of us that actually wanted mixed drinks. I’m pretty sure they served wine here too. The staff that night seemed super cool and totally hipster.
Loved the vibe when we walked into this coffee shop. The décor was trendy yet old school. Yes, there was dust on the lamp fixtures but we all thought the place was neat and served its purpose. 3 of us had cheesecake and scarfed it down while all 4 of us ordered some sort of tea or coffee drink made by their espresso/​cappuccino/​latte machine.
If I’m ever back in the Myrtle Beach area, I’ll be sure to return to this place. Highly recommended!

Love the décor! The little girl behind the counter is a real sweet pea. Such a cute little girl. And apparently her aunt is from Germany, who met when they tore down the Berlin wall, but she doesn’t know whether her aunt is from the west or east side! (^_^)/
It is such endearing close up encounters like these that I prefer a local café over Starbucks if I know they have espresso instead of brewed coffee.

Don’t go for the bland Starbucks!
This place has a unique setup. Has a couple chairs, couch, small bistro tables & booths in the front as well as a bar with stools.
It is nicely decorated with a warm feel. And a nod to the owners travels to England and Europe.
The back has a stage for their open mic nights on Thursday night @7:30−10ish with about 4 couches, couple low tables & chairs as well as some high tables for plenty to watch their friends and locals perform.
In between the rooms there is a small hallway type space with bookcases full of books & the bathrooms.
I got a frozen toffee mocha that was very good then later I had them make me a frozen white chocolate, vanilla and Caramel-​tasted great!
My Mom drank the Samatra coffee they had brewed– she said it was nice and bold, she loved it.
I have a feeling I would be here several times a week if I lived here.

I want one of these in Hampton Roads. This was such a great find. We went with our ‘gut’( Unilocal) to help us find a cool coffee house and we weren’t disappointed.
We were on our family vacay and looking for one more fun thing to do for the night. The kids were game to hit the coffee house. The coffee was incredible and the ambiance impacted the entire evening experience. I wish we could go back tomorrow. Mic night was interesting and cool. There was some great talent and then some that were just trying to spread their wings. All in all, I was super impressed and the kiddos loved their rather large cocoa’s. Maybe we will be fortunate enough to have something like that come to our area.
