So at the end of every month, I take my girlfriend out to a new restaurant for date night. I was stuck this month and didn’t know where to go, so I hop on Unilocal and find this place. Reviews were solid and the inside pictures looked pretty cool, so we head on over. We were immediately greeted with a smile and warm welcome. We sat in the lounge area which was just absolutely gorgeous. I mean pictures don’t do it justice. Our waiter was telling us how most everything was hand made and from Morocco and Turkey. Our waiter(I can’t remember his name but he was awesome) started us off with drinks and a huge assortment of appetizers. I just got a Stella but my girlfriend got the King David cocktail, which she enjoyed. We got the falafel appetizers and it was just fried to perfection. He also brought us a huge thing of oven baked bread with chickpea, cabbage, corn, potato, and beet salad. All of which was delicious. On to our entrees! I got the shawarma and she got the grilled kebabs. They really give you a lot of food. You get your money’s worth and then some, and oh my god were both of them delicious. I actually liked the kebabs better, but the shawarma was still great. We both could only eat half of our meals and got the rest to take home. We’re both servers in Myrtle Beach, and we had never even heard of this place until tonight. Definitely a great find, and I would 100% recommend this place to anybody. Their website says authentic Mediterranean food, and they surely live up to it!

Love this restaurant. Freshly prepared, perfectly seasoned food. You won’t find menu selections or an atmosphere like this anywhere else in the area– or maybe the region. Can’t wait to go again!

We went here for lunch and had a great experience. The server that took care of us was great and explained the menu and answered any questions that we had. The food was really good and I could tell that everything was homemade. I did find it a little pricy for lunch as the sandwich(pita) options were $ 11+ for the pita and fries, but it was quite filling. The inside was really cool too. I would definitely return.

This place is a joke. I am an Israeli who had been eating at this place for years until the recent relocation to 2nd avenue when everything went downhill. I ordered a shawarma sandwich during my work break. It was missing the salad and tahini sauce so all I received was some dry meat in a dry pita. And my side plate of hummus that cost me 3 dollars came in a small ketchup container. It’s beyond disappointing, and not to mention I placed my order 15 minutes before I got there and it wasn’t ready until 15 minutes after I had arrived. Terrible service overall which is very sad to say.

Beautiful atmosphere. Great food. Great music. Great service. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy the fantastic lounge with cocktails and belly dancing. A truly unique experience for Myrtle Beach.

Food was fantastic, service was great. Only difficult part was the seating in the lounge. I wanted to sit in there because it’s so beautiful. But it’s not comfortable for an old woman like me! I will go again and again, but I’ll take a regular table and chair the next time.

Very authentic Israeli food, but not a very comfortable atmosphere. The booths are not conducive to eating.

This place offers 7 types of hummus. No schwarma on Fridays unfortunately which is what many in our party wanted. They explained the reason is they observe Shabbat and don’t want any schwarma leftovers to go to waste. The lounge area is really cool, which the organizer of our party reserved, but when we arrived, we were told no go. The King David is a great drink and the king David salads are tasty. Lots of ambience and art. The chicken tagine is tastier than the beef tagine. The breads are excellent — they come out warm and crispy. Kosher restaurant.

The restaurant is beautiful inside and the food is delicious. We didn’t try the desserts but they looked impressive. As close as you can get to authentic Israeli food!

Fantastic Food and Terrific Atmosphere! Something for everyone! Authentic middle eastern food, fish, ribeye, even hot dogs for kids! The homemade Naan(bread) is scrumptious! The service is first rate, they even have their own bakery chef.

By far, the best Mediterranean food I have ever had!!! The hummus was fresh and the pita breads were amazing! i had the falafel platter which was filling and had great flavor. The chicken on the skewer was also amazing! my family members also tried the roasted chicken which melts in your mouth! The restaurant is clean and beautiful! This is a must try when you are in Myrtle Beach

The absolute worst dining experience ever. The service was ridiculous. The waiter was beyond incompetent — first he took drink orders and then 10 minutes later came back to say they werent serving anything other than beer and wine — how did he not know that before asking to take our order. He finally returned to take our dinner order only to come back about 15 minutes later and tell us they were out of half of the food that we ordered — again isnt a waiter supposed to know this stuff? The absolute biggest mind blower was when he came to collect our glasses to refill them as they were out of clean glasses! The food came out sporadically. No one was given silverware or a napkin. Half of our meals were inedible. Our complaints to management and ownership were met with only excuses. They actually expected to have us pay for the entire meal — including what couldnt be eaten because it was so bad. You would have thought that some attempt to acknowledge and apologize for a ruined celebration dinner would have been made. I have never experienced such horrible service and a total lack of accountability for our experience by everyone from the waiter to the owner. Stay far away from this place. They don’t deserve the one star but zero stars wasn’t an option.

This restaurant is certainly authentic to include the patrons eating here! Very authentic décor and atmosphere. Wednesday they say there is belly dancing. My food was amazing and reminded me of being in Jerusalem. The bread is wonderful the drinks from the bar were tasty! My friends had never had this before so it was different for them. Just remember they don’t use dairy here. The only thing I can say is they were certainly out of a lot of items but that is all I can say! Wonderful place and will be back!

Below average food & presentation. Average service, décor & atmosphere. Bottom line, if they want to survive in this competitive market, they need to do much better. Very disappointed with my visit…& would not go back. I wish it was different…

Okay. I will admit that I have very little experience with this type of food so maybe I didn’t know what to order. But I took my wife here for Valentines day and was disappointed especially after reading the reviews. The atmosphere was awesome. We sat in the bar area and it was beautiful to look at. My wife ordered the chicken with olives. The problem was that when it came, that was all there was! It was just a chicken leg lying in a liquid with olives floating around. We did order some saffron rice to go with it when we saw that was all. I ordered the beef kabob that looked like a sausage cut in half. I probably could have blamed my disappointment on ignorance of the food, but the service left much to be desired. Our waiter seemed to forget about us, but in their defense, the other wait staff seemed to be on the ball. I’m not saying that this is not a good restaurant, but do some research and know what to order. The menu was not very descriptive for a novice like me and several things were crossed out and unavailable. We decided to go to Ruby Tuesday because we were still hungry and shared chicken fingers and a dessert.

Fresh! Lunch was perfect. We all ordered different sandwiches. Next time I’d like to try a sampling of appetizers. You can’t go wrong with any of the pita options. Lovely atmosphere. We were told in the summer they have belly dancing. Nice bar area.

Only a few people I know would hunt for hummus in South Carolina and find some of the best in the U.S. at this establishment. I don’t say that lightly folks, I take hummus very seriously. My experience went as such: I went for lunch, and wasn’t sure the restaurant was open, though I sure am glad they were! Turns out happy hour is 4 – 7, same as everywhere else around here. They have a beautiful bar and space to dance. Along with a beautiful collection of tagine pots, the space is filled with custom lighting and rounded archway doors with plenty of seating. The staff is attentive and the manager on duty takes their business seriously and kindly asked how things went. The falafel rivals those I’ve had in Chicago, and the hummus, as I’ve said, gets high marks. The stone oven pita is a nice touch. They also have hand crafted hot sauce available, yay! The catering business also appears to do well, as many orders were headed out. I’ll definitely go back for more. See you at happy hour my fellow hummus hunters!
