Enjoyed lunch today on my work break. Ordered the combination plate of chicken & steak with onions, squash and rice. Also ordered the spring rolls (3). You order at the counter, a variety of items. Best choices appear to be Hibachi prepared dishes, but there is also sushi. Food is brought to your table, after calling out your name. The dining room is large with tables and booths, plus there’s covered outdoor seating.
The food was good, served hot and seasoned as expected. I did like the spring rolls, and also enjoyed the hibachi chicken & steak. Service was basic. If you’re looking for something different, tired of burgers and sandwiches for lunch, then out Jimmyz Hibachi House.

I called and asked if they delivered and the lady said ‚“no it is past the time.” and promptly ended the call. At the time I called it was still early like 5:30ish in the afternoon. So I had my friend call and ask if they delivered and they said yes and were asking for her information. So I called the other jimmyz and asked if they would deliver and they said that the pine island was the one that delivered to my area. So I said I know but they said they aren’t delivering at this time. So she told me to call them because she had told them to accept my delivery. I didn’t call back because I was angry with the whole situation.

Was looking for a quick meal while the family ate at Broadway at the beach. Was going to 5 guys but gave jimmyz a try.
Had the chicken and rice with mixed vegetables. All were cooked perfectly. Will be stopping again whenever in Myrtle Beach

This place has okayish food that does the job when I’m at work and craving Asian. I wish they would use more of a selection of veggies in their hibachi… like ever heard of broccoli? Biggest downfall is the delivery time. I’m literally a mile away and it takes well over an hour and sometimes even 2 to get my food (even though they tell me 45 minutes on the phone.)

Sushi was awful, miso soup too…
But the veggie plate (hibachi veggies & rice) was FABULOUSSSSS. Moist rice, perfectly cooked and spiced veggies. Plenty of veggies! I WILL come again! And the price was decent at $ 8.99.
But, gahhhh, don’t get the California roll

First time ordering from here I was getting delivery I just moved here so I don’t know where everything is. I called to ask if they had hibachi chicken because I didn’t see it on the online menu on here. The girl that answered said yes, I also asked about the sushi and sauces coming with it, however she hung up on me before I could finish asking her, I called back and she did it again. Anyway, I got my order about 30 min later, not to long. However I opened my sushi and it had a weird smell and my chicken was burnt. But since my order cost 15 bucks I decided to eat my rice and chicken drenched in the orange sauce I got. But not the sushi it just smelled to weird and looked awful.

I like Jimmyz food. It’s decent hibachi. I wish they used more veggies than just zucchini. They are a little heavy-​handed on the onions. That said, the rice is very good, and I like the meats just fine. I also love that they offer delivery.

Typically I love Jimmy z, but tonight not so much. Service was horrible. 54.00 for dinner and for the service to be HORRIBLE makes it hard to want to come back. We dont have to spend our money we choose to, not sure if I will choose to do that anymore.

I use to love Jimmyz until we moved by the Coastal Grand Mall location. I called to have them deliver. After 2 hours of waiting and 4 phone calls i was told the driver was stuck in traffic for 40 minutes and did I still want the food. I will never ever go there again. They were not helpful, sympathetic, or apologetic. Go somewhere else where they value their customers

Wanted to try something quick & a little less expensive while on vacation. This little spot was perfect. Hibachi style food without paying the price to watch the same old shows as the Japanese Steakhouse. We had teriyaki chicken & steak with spring rolls. Everything was good & there were full bottles of yum yum & ginger right on each table.

I’m a huge fan of JimmyZ — they are always willing to accommodate my gluten allergy. They will clean the grill, not sure soy sauce or teriyaki on the veggies, and chicken, and give me white rice.
What more can one ask for!
This is the nicest and newest of the locations!

Great quick Japanese food. The 2 combination meal with a drink was tasty but it was for 11 bucks. Only gripe was the quantity but quality was satisfactory. Atmosphere was laid back non casual. Service was decent and friendly. Parking was nice. It was not hard to turn into.

Good food, quick service. I had the chicken dinner bowl. Coupled with a serving of sushi it was perfect dinner. The volcano roll was good, but the cuts were a little large. I’d come back for sure, especially after seeing the amount of people in there at 8pm. Good food, good value.

Very late lunch. The food is great. The wait was long though considering they are not busy. I have the teriyaki chicken with veggies and hubby has the steak lunch plate. We will be back. Making sure we have a little time to wait though.

Excellent Japanese hibachi style fast food. They have a couple locations in Myrtle Beach but I have only been to this one. I had hoped to order their Korean beef but they were out so I opted instead for the teriyaki chicken. I wasn’t disappointed. The portions were large, the prices cheap and most importantly, the food tasted good.
My husband ordered the hibachi beef and that was also good. We shared one of their sushi rolls (crazy roll I think) and were pleasantly surprised. I didn’t have high expectations for it since it was in a fast food place but it was surprisingly good.
I would definitely come back again. You get the same food you’d receive from a fancy Japanese steakhouse without the hassle of the knife wielding chefs chucking molten hot pieces of shrimp at your face. That’s a win in my book.

Walked in around 8:30pm and the place was dead. However, I had high hopes due to the photos on here that made me super hungry.
The staff was kind of rude, especially to this older couple ahead of us who had special requests.
The food was pretty good though. However, it’s completely bland until you smother it in the delicious soy/​ginger sauce. They had a white sauce you could use too, but I opted out.
My husband had a steak rice bowl, and it was literally that. Steak and rice. I felt bad for the poor guy, lol. I had hibachi steak and my dish was two times the size of his and had a variety of veggies. Sushi was ok.
Definitely affordable. Two entrees and sushi for under $ 25.

Was visiting Myrtle Beach with my boyfriend and decided to try this place. It was good and the fact that they delivered made it even better. My order came out to $ 14 and some change but the delivery guy didn’t have any small bills so I ended up giving him the whole $ 20.
