Free tasting and friendly staff. The actual moonshine is easily as good as and about $ 10 cheaper than the other big brand of mason-jar moonshine commonly found in liquor stores. Fresh corn and ethanol on the nose but the taste is all fresh sweet corn, and sips a lot less hot than the proof implies. 105 proof and distilled from 100% food grade white corn in Anderson, SC. Recommend getting the bottles of flavoring and the white lightning separately over bottles of flavored moonshine.

What a cool place. Did I mention free tasting and history lesson. They make some of the best shine around. I am a big fan!

Everyone was very nice and helpful. They offer 4 types of moonshine: white lightning(plain), peach, blackberry, and apple pie. They also sell barbecue sauce, spices, and moonshine pickles; as well as clothes and memorabilia. The only reason we did do the samples is because it was 10am and they don’t start sampling until noon! Can’t wait to try our White Lightning!

We went here on a whim after seeing their cute mason jar flyer at our hotel the night before. We were lucky to get Lisa as our tasting guide and she was great! She explained how they made their moonshine the ingredients and how each could be mixed and matched to make great drinks! Then they explained how you can warm up the apple pie moonshine and add some Caramel syrup and then they let us taste some they had premixed already… OMG it was amazing!!! The apple pie moonshine by itself is awesome but add caramel it was so good!!! Thank goodness we stopped! We got great moonshine and great bbq sauce too! Thank you Lisa for the great experience!!!

This is a must do for adults from out of town! We were here for a family vacation, my husband and I got away for a date night and decided to come here for a tasting before we went out to dinner. I was a little nervous of the taste since I’m not a big drinker. The White Lightning was strong but I enjoyed the flavored Moonshine. They have Peach, Blackberry and my favorite Apple Pie! We probably spent a little too much but we really liked everything! My husband even got and home aging kit for the White Lightning. That would be a great gift idea!

This is a place that sells legal moonshine. They offer tastings. They sell their White Lightning, which is strong then some flavored shines cut with flavors such as peach and apple pie. You can also buy separate mixes there along with other other souvenir things they sell. The shine comes in mason jars. They sell special lids with pouring spouts. I did not know how to rate the price range, since I have never been to a comparable place. I payed $ 28 for my jar of shine. If they also sold craft beer it would be perfect.
