My family and I decided to try something different. Nice choice! We are typically a family of habit; we often go to Applebees or K&W. Poloski Deli was a pleasant change. Cheap prices too! We just got subs. If we get the chance to come again, we will try the perogies.

Had a nice relaxing lunch sitting outside. Owners were super friendly. Good sandwich made on high quality bread. Scratch made pierogies were a hit.

Amazing authentic food. Really sweet women working and they made awesome suggestions. If your looking for something different then the normal American crap and pancake houses, try this place. It’s a bit of a hidden gem. They also sell some specialized foods that look great.

I didn’t realize this was part tiny restaurant, part tiny convenience store. I would give it a 1 for atmosphere and a 4 for food. We had to listen to a local TV show with lawyers talking about worker’s compensation laws. I so wished the TV was muted. I had the meat perogis, but wasn’t quite sure what kind of meat was in them. Best guess was pork. My husband had a Brooklyn sub. The bread was very good and it was loaded with meat.

Stopped in for lunch on a Monday about 1p. Ordered right away and food was at the table shortly after. Wife got an Italian sub… certainly do not skimp on the meat portion in the sub! She wanted the cheese/potato perogies too so I got the sample with 3 of them, a cabbage roll, stew, sausage, and kraut. She ate kraut and perogies… everything I ate was wonderful.

Wonderful find through Unilocal!I would have never noticed this gem. Sweet ladies waiting on us and pierogis were wonderful. We noticed they were only open until 5 on Saturday so we walked over at 4:30 and had great service. I bright a Polska Kielbasa back to the condo for a snack and look forward to a late night snack!

Everything was delicious! Maggi greeted us with a smile and was the sweetest person when taking our order and delivering our food to us. We got the kielbasa sandwich and an order of pierogi! The pickles were so good too! She even brought extra for our son who LOVEDTHEM! Love these hidden gems in a town that have few and far between!

A hidden gem in Myrtle Beach. As a Polish native, I will say that they have great tradition Polish good with reasonable prices. It’s definitely not a restaurant, but if you’re looking for something quick to eat that’s definitely a place.

I know, I know, one doesn’t naturally pair Polish food and a trip to the beach. True enough. But I’d needed a little break from seafood, so I sought out this little gem. Well, that was one reason, but I admit my ulterior motive was checking out their small grocery area for pantry items I can’t find in the flyover states… all in all, my visit was a win on both counts. I found more than a couple of things I had to have — pickles and other pickled veg, especially. I also got some dairy items. Also available were a variety of commercial pierogi, sweets, a small selection of baked goods, Maggi(and other) mixes, jarred sour cherries, dried fish, and farmer’s cheeses. Plus the deli offerings — several kinds of kielbasa, dried sausage, bologna(no, not Wonderbread-mayo-bologna, but real bologna), and other nommy things. They have a lot of special(potentially seasonal?) offerings, like half sours and such — while all items may not be available at all times(the half sours I was craving, for example, were not), make sure to check out the handwritten signs in the grocery area to make sure you don’t miss out! The pierogi were fabulous — scratch made, both filling and dough, and served well(sometimes they can feel greasy or get gummy — these didn’t) with a sprinkle of yummy crispy onion on top. Their cabbage roll and the hunter’s cabbage stew were both catch-me-off-guard good, stick-to-your-ribs flavorful and clearly made with pride and love. Sauerkraut and kielbasa was tasty — they split and score their kielbasa, which makes more of a flavor difference than one might think. Perfect comfort food with great portions for a fair price. I got my order for takeaway and went back to the beach to eat, but there are several tables in a clean, comfortable deli dining area that is stocked with Polish-history /travel related books and memorabilia. Note: it’s around the side of the small strip mall at this location, not exactly visible from Kings Highway. Plan ahead if you want dinner, as they close fairly early. Spent 34 $. **Though I don’t usually review this sort of spot after one visit, I’m doing so to document the impact of one fairly off-grid tourist, traveling without family, just to make an HB2 related point**

The best Polish food in this area! And if you just want a sub sandwich– it’s pretty good too. Super friendly, helpful staff working behind the counter as well. Gosia prepared our meals: home made pierogi(meat & cabbage), kielbasa sub and turkey/cheese sub. I couldn’t resist buying some souvenirs from Poland before leaving. It was a very satisfying lunch. Prices for food are excellent.

My Wife and I suggested this place to our Harley Davidson Owners Group friends and 14 of us decided to ride down for lunch last weekend. We called and told them that we were bringing a group and what time to expect us. When we go there, they had set up a table large enough for all 14 of us to sit together. They took our orders and the food was there super fast. Once again, incredible food with awesome tastes for lunch. Had several of out group comment that they hadn’t had anything that good in quite a while. I’m sure that we will continue to return.

Enjoyed via take-out, the Polish Sampler Platter… so good! Fair prices. What a nice place. What stuck with us was that the place was so clean! This deli/restaurant also sells polish food products of all sorts. A nice take when in Myrtle Beach!

I grew up in Wisconsin and know good Polish food. This is excellent Polish food. I would recommend the potato or kraut pierogi over the meat. The cabbage/meat that is served under the sausage is rich and flavorful — I could eat just that! Plus, as an added bonus, the deli guy is cute! I’ll eat his kielbasa any day!

We had never noticed this place because it actually faces the side street while having a N. KING St address. We found it on Unilocal when our favorite lunch spot was closed for the weekend. Reading the reviews convinced us to give it a try. And while I came for a Sub after seeing the menu and smelling the aromas of the store I went for the sampler plate. It has Kielbasa, 3 Pierogies, a cabbage roll, cabbage stew, sauerkraut and a pickle for $ 10.95. Wow! Mary had the Cabbage Rolls, two came on the plate, and I shared a Pierogies. Our plates were empty because everything was great and we are going to buy some of the Kielbasa to take home for New Years Eve! And Mary said we will return. This proves once again how good the Unilocal reviews are. This is the fifth gem we have found here in Mrytle Beach in our last three visits. We are going to have to plan to extend our future stays to be able to visir them all!

An absolute must for European folks. I love Polish food and grew up on German and Czech food. So this hits home fairly well. The staff is Polish and super nice, hence the owner must be Polish. They have a fabulous idea. Restaurant plus store. You can get any good European items and authentic very well priced food. I will be returning each time I visit Myrtle Beach.

Surfside Beach was our destination to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. Whenever we travel, we look for hole-in-the-wall places to eat where you will find a grandma cooking in the kitchen. At Pulaski, if you order from their hot food menu, it will be food that a grandma made. And let me tell you, as a native from Chicago growing up eating the best pierogi’s in Humboldt Park at this polish diner on California and Haddon, the pierogi’s at Pulaski almost made me cry as it took me back. I have always favored the potato and cheese pierogi. These are the real deal! Their meat filled subs are just as good and super affordable– $ 6.95 with a pickle. I need to return and try their sampler plate. Gosh it looked good too! There is also a grocery section and its mostly items I have seen at the Polish corner store in Chicago. I love supporting these type of small businesses cranking out real homemade food. Plus, who doesn’t want to spend less $$$ going out to eat? If you are in the area, check out and support this small business. If polish food is not your thing, their huge subs are less than $ 7.
