Went to the location at north myrtle beach in Broadway and wow! It was TERRIBLE! We got chocolate covered pretzels, oreos and peanut butter cups and they were so awful we threw it all away. $ 35 in the trash. The pretzels and oreos were stale and the chocolate tasted old. Never again!

Super fun old fashioned candy store. You can watch them make pralines, salt water taffy and chocolate dipped treats. Great selection and delicious! Buy by weight so get just what you want. Fun tourist spot.

This is by far the best candy store in all of myrtle beach! To be honest, the best candy store I’ve ever been to! Friendliest staff I’ve ever met. Definitely try the free sample of their pralines you’ll love them and end up buying some! Fudge is amazing also and they have a sale buy a pound get half a pound free! So worth it. Also this location at Broadway at the beach defiantly beats out the barefoot landing location. It’s much bigger and so much more of a variety!

Omg this place, it made me revert to a childlike state of excitement. Fudge, pralines(which I’ve never had before, but they’re amazing), big chocolate sea shells, salt water taffy, and more! Just ask for a free sample! They have a taffy puller spinning in the window to entice you in, as well. We even got to see them MAKING and wrapping salt water taffy on their machine, and they tossed us free samples! This time it was watermelon. There were also tons of fruity, gummy candies, filling shelves in clear bins. And they were also playing all the best vintage dance music, so if course I started dancing too. This place was fantastic, and it really put me in a vacation mood with their ship’s bell, shiny red and silver scale and giant barrels of salt water taffy. Immediately became a highlight in an already awesome day.

Stop in for a free praline sample. The original flavor is the best! They always have the buy 1 pound get ½ pound free deal going on. One pound is $ 18 so it can be expensive.

Have only had their pralines, which are«PHENOMENAL!!!» Although you gotta get em while their hot or they turn hard & to pure sugar. However, the guy working told me if you put em in the microwave for a few seconds they’ll get soft again.

Please don’t take me here – I will eat almost everything. It’s that good… oh, I actually have write a coherent review, my bad. Let’s start over. This place is AWESOME. The caramel apples are absolutely delicious, and they cut them in the store, which makes for easy eating. I also tried(and then purchased) pralines for the first time in my life – I know, I’m such a Yankee. They were absolutely delicious. I had a quick conversation with the woman making them – nice lady! I picked up chocolate covered marshmallow sticks for my family, and they were gone within a few days. The fudge is also delicious, and my friend also reported that he liked the taffy – I’m not a taffy person myself. This place is a must stop if at Broadway at the Beach – you won’t be disappointed!
