There furniture is so poorly made. They get you with interest free payments so you spread your payments on crap over a long period. Bought sectional couch that we have had to put wood under cushions to keep it from sagging severely. Customer service is a joke.

Update to the review below. Finally a few days ago I got my money back from Rooms to go for the couch protector that they didnt put on my couch. Now an update on the couch I purchased. I purchased the Cindy Crawford white slipcover beach side couch and loveseat. ITS A PIECEOFCRAP! I have only had a few months and the cushions are already smashed flat looks like I have owned to 10 years! I hate it. I have to flip the cushions every day pretty much because they are so flattened out after you sit on them. Looks horrible and most uncomfortable couch to sit on. Biggest piece of junk furniture that I have ever purchased! Between the incident with the fabric protector, the way I was treated by the rooms to go employees at the store and the piece of cheap made furniture. I cut my Rooms to go card up and will NEVER purchase anything from them again! Just purchased a couch and purchased the fabric protector. When couch arrived I immediately knew it hadn’t been applied. The delivery guys had to borrow my screwdriver to remove the wood blocks holding the cardboard and plastic on the couch which means nothing had been done to it because only the plastic would be there. I immediately called as soon as the store opened to let salesperson know he said don’t worry about it you will still have the warranty if something happens. I was stunned ok first of all I want what I paid $ 160 for I want it on my couch to keep something from happening! He then laughed and said I see what your saying. I mean seriously? He said they were going to have the technician call me and set up a time to apply. Well I call later and get their office manager on the phone which got into an argument with both me and my husband. The next day I called and she answers the phone anytime anyone calls and asked for a manager and of course she tells me again there isn’t one there. I then call back she answers the phone and ask to speak to my sales rep she knew it was me and put me on hold for over 15 min and never came back to the phone so I got in my car and drove down there. I had the assistant manager pretty much call me a liar. Anyway in a nut shell. I finally got a guy at the RTG corporate that use to work in the warehouse and he told me if they had to remove wood blocks with screwdriver to remove the plastic and cardboard then I was correct my couch had not been touched with the fabric protector. This man resolved my problem because the employees at this store refused to help me. DONTPURCHASEANYTHINGFROMTHISSTORE! The salesman wont help and the girls that work in the office were like dealing with a bunch of high school girls that acted like bullies! I felt like I was dealing with children the way they handled the situation. They don’t get it without the customer they have NOJOB! Do yourself a favor go somewhere else where hopefully the employees are actual people that act like grown ups and care about you AFTERTHESALE. Also if you buy the fabric protector make sure its actually on your couch when you receive it!

If anyone is considering, or planning on buying leather furniture from Rooms To Go, think twice and maybe even a third time, Don’t, do it, We have had our furniture less than two years, in a second home in Myrtle Beach, this furniture has been sat on maybe a dozen times, and it has cracked and the leather is peeling off of areas that are not even touch by a human body. Contacted store manager,(with very little personality) he told us he would forward our complaint to customer service. Customer service called and we were informed that they were not going to do anything about it, because Rooms To Go has no warranty on leather. Ugh. They did not even want to come look at it, The same day we purchased this leather sectional, we purchased 3 bedrooms, and dining room furniture, we spent a big chunk of $$ with Rooms To Go, Never again, Not only will I never step foot in Rooms To Go, but I will tell anyone that will listen, that they do not and will not stand behind their furniture especially leather.

The single most unpleasant customer service experience I’ve ever endured was at the hands of, Rooms To Go. The bonded leather furniture we were sold literally started to disintegrate shortly after 24 months of ownership. Repeated attempts at resolution got us nowhere. Faced with the option, I would live on lawn chairs and milk crates before walking though their front door again. Come to think of it, I’ve actually owned lawn furniture that wore better and lasted longer. Lesson learned. –Neil NOTE: If you’re even remotely considering bonded furniture, Google the topic and do your homework, first. There’s a lot more info out there compared to when we purchased. I just noticed a quick search, using the words«Rooms to go and bonded leather furniture» pulls up numerous complaints.

We walked in with a specific couch in mind, and were immdiately accosted by a saleswoman. She gave us her name for commision purposes, and hovered behind us. All this is standard for the furniture store, as far as I know. The part that irked me was after we had decided on a couch. As our saleslady did not know how to ring up the order, she had another salesman come over to help her. They asked me to buy the ‘protection package’, and I declined. They asked again, and again I declined. As they started to insist that it was something I needed, I told them that no meant no, and that would be the end of the discussion. The ‘experienced’ salesman started in again, saying he was just doing his job(which I understand, but…). At this point I told him to drop it, we weren’t going to buy it. Astoundingly, he started in again, at which point I asked for the manager, to explain to her why she was losing my business. After she got there(5 minutes), she not only did not apologize, she started in on me too! She told me that they hardly ever hear no, and she was surprised we wouldn’t want it. Were we sure? I bought the couch, since it matched our other one in the living room, but I doubt if I will be back. The customer isn’t always right, I know, but no means no. No X 5 should really mean no!
