We went to happy hour and the food served during that time could not have been the regular food served. The nachos were served on hard taco shells. Quesadilla was not regular size.

First of all the best part of the experience was our service. On a weekend trip from Maryland my boyfriend and I went here craving some Mexican food as I read really great reviews. We came in sat down and quickly introduced to Michael. If we could give him more than 5 stars we would. We’ve both served and are extremely critical of our service when we go out! He knew his stuff, he went out of his way to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. He gave us some useful information for our way back to MD, was extremely extremely nice and attentive. Should def be recognized by management. Everything was clean. The food tasted fresh and came out fast. it wasn’t the most amazing Mexican food I’ve ever had but it was def great for a chain restaurant one of the most authentic I’ve had, and I would totally come back.

Best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever ate at. Three different salsas(mild, pineapple verde, smoky hot) with plenty of tortilla chips(all free of course). The enchiladas and tacos were the best I’ve tasted at a Mexican restaurant. The ground beef is perfectly seasoned as well. Don’t miss out on their homemade Queso dip, it’s delicious. The décor is set up like a fancy coat and tie required restaurant, with the casual feel. I highly recommend this establishment.

Amazing food! I went for the first time today and was very pleased. They bring you three different types of salsa when you sit down. The prices are higher than your typical Mexican restaurant but the food is on point. You get what you pay for. Jacob was our server, I recommend you ask for him when you go. He provided great service and assisted with recommendations. This place will forever be our«go to» when we are craving Mexican food.

Mexican food probably has to be my favorite food there is. I can honestly say this is the BEST Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. My family go here twice every year on our vaca. My food has always been great and the service is right on. It’s a very clean place. For the portion and quality of food you get the price can’t be beat. The 5 layer dip is so good. If you’re in the area and you love Mexican food you should defiantly come here!

Stopped in for lunch with my wife. She had the lunch chimichanga and I had the lunch Durango burrito. Nothing bad to write. Chips and 3 kinds of salsa were great. The meals were the right size and delicious. The side of rice was unbelievable tasty not your usual Mexican rice. Will definitely be back. Service was great also.

What more can I say than this is some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had outside of Houston. The Papas ARE the best I’ve ever tasted. I highly recommend the carnitas enchiladas with carne sauce.

Asked to sit outside but denied because there were no servers. 5 minutes later, a large party gets seated outside. Hostess not too pleasant. Everything in the restaurant was sticky. Overcharged for our meal. No thank you.

Went for happy hour. Drinks were great and bartender was awesome. I had the quesadillia, which was very good. The only disappointment was the mini shrimp cocktail. The texture was off putting and it lacked flavor.

Nice place for groups/families. The servers were friendly but the food was a little salty. I got the chicken enchiladas, refried beans, and rice. Although, the salsa dips they gave us as appetizers were all very good.

I honestly dont understand the reviews that say ‘they finally have good mexican food in Myrtle Beach” WHAT? Do you even know what real authentic mexican food is? Ive tried this place not 2, but 3 times to give it a chance. All 3 times the food was horrible. Margaritas watered down… horrible service. There wont be a 4th time for sure. GOOD mexican food? If oyu are looking for chain style food, try Burro Loco. If you are looking for the REAL mexican food, try La Poblanita. Now, THAT is real mexican food.

This is an upscale overpriced Mexican restaurant. The chips and dips they give upon being seated are good. The staff was friendly and although the portion sizes are good, even the kids meals, the food is just so so. I can make better Mexican food at home. I ordered the chicken fajitas and the bell peppers on the skillet were barely cooked at all! Upon leaving, my husband & I both remarked that we would be ok never returning.

The salsa/guacamole were good and that’s about it. Atmosphere reminded me of a Las Vegas buffet restaurant although this isn’t a buffet, super loud over the top, which is fine didn’t bother me much. We didn’t know it was a chain until we got there. Service was subpar nothing special. FOOD disgusting. I ordered the very expensive chicken tacos and the tortillas were soggy rice crunchy beans like they had been sitting all day and it ALLTASTEDLIKEITWASMICROWAVEDFOOD!!! BLEH!!! Food was not hot either all room temp. I have driven cross country and gotten tacos from WaWa’s and Sheetz(gas station chains) and got better FRESHER chicken tacos for 1⁄3 the price. I CANTUNDERSTANDPEOPLES love for this place. I guess palates within regions of the US are just different.

We have finally found our Mexican good go-to restaurant in Myrtle Beach! The décor is fun and festive and the Happy Hour drink specials are fantastic(don’t miss The Swirl!!). The menu is extensive without being overwhelming and the service is super friendly and attentive. We had the Queso for our appetizer and there were complimentary chips and salsa for the table. The chips are served hot and were very thin, very crispy, and very delicious! The Salsa Verde was fantastic! Our entrees included a Fajita Salad, Chimichangas, Fajitas, and Seared Tuna. Entire family raved about the food. My only complaint was the mustard sauce that came with the Tuna. In a word… YUK!!! However, the Salsa Verde was a perfect replacement. They also have technology where you can pay your bill with your credit card via a table-top device and it sends a receipt to your email. Very cool! If not for the 45 minute wait for our food, I would have given 5 stars instead of 4. We will dine here every time we visit!

5 stars for the waitress and the hostesses. The food is nothing more than preprocessed — frozen food they most heat up there. The quac is not made there for sure. Good morning Candido, thanks for your note. We also had the: ABUELO’S DIPSAMPLER Our Chile con Queso, Queso Diablo, and Avocado Cream. This was, as other reviews said, the best thing ever! We were surprised that the quac wasn’t made table side — that would have been fun. Compared the quac I’ve had elsewhere and from when we make it fresh at home, it had a different texture. The menu says: GUACAMOLE Perfectly seasoned guacamole made with fresh avocado. It was nicely seasoned. My daughter and I talked about the menu wording at the table. «Made with fresh avocado» doesn’t necessarily mean made fresh there at the time of your order, so maybe we misunderstood the menu when we ordered. I ordered a 1800HANDSHAKENMARGARITA Our Number 1 selling mix of 1800 Reposado, Agavero Orange Liqueur and naturally-sweetened lime juice served up in a personal shaker. This was pretty good! I ordered the PESCADOGUERRERO for dinner: Fire-grilled Barramundi topped with shrimp, sea scallops, mushrooms, spinach and roasted peppers, in a white wine sauce. With this dish, there is no question about it that the veggies on the side were frozen. The shrimp and scallops weren’t amazing, but the sauce was. I didn’t even really eat the Barramundi, so I can’t comment. And CHICKENFAJITAS Our signature chicken fajitas are fire-grilled chicken breast served sizzling hot with traditional onions and peppers and your choice of two signature sides. Plus, unlimited servings of homemade guacamole, sour cream, shredded lettuce, shredded cheeses and pico de gall. Choose fresh, handmade flour tortillas or Romaine lettuce for wrapping. As other reviews mentioned, unfortunately there was no sizzle. The entire dish was actually room temp. The server didn’t even need to warn us the plate was hot or hold it with a towel like usual when you order fajitas. The peppers and onions didn’t seem to have cooked much and were almost raw. And I’m sorry to say, the chicken didn’t seem to have just come off of a fire-grill(not warm) And again, maybe we misunderstood or took«homemade guacamole and flour tortillas» to mean, made right there, that day.

This is a favorite visit for me while I am at Myrtle Beach. The food is always so good. Our waiter was extremely friendly and service was very good. The chips and three sauces were very good. Freshly baked chips. It’s hard to find good sauce variety that comes with the chips at other Mexican Restaurants. Margarita was decent. I forgot how much tequila will mess you up… Goodness me! I also tried a Queso Cheese sauce and it was very good. The burrito entrée was very good. I wasn’t happy to see the tiny squirt of refried beans. It was crusted dry. The rice portion was lacking volume too. The avocados used were great quality, bright green in color. All in all the food was wonderful and the atmosphere is quite nice and spacious.

Dive in to chips, a trio of salsas and some tasty tex-mes entrees. I wish we had an Abuelo’s nearby to where we live. Mix some of the hot salsa with the cool pineapple(green) salsa for a zesty, sweet dip. I had the Juarez: a crispy beef taco, tamale, sour cream chicken enchilada and cheese enchilada. The flavors were delicious and the serving size huge, although the taco seemed a little light on filling. No matter since I had oodles of food with the other parts of the meal, but beware if you’re ordering just tacos. Kids’ meals come with drink, rice and refried beans. Our server let us substitute black beans instead of the refried. Atmosphere is pleasant here and the tables aren’t squished together. Chips and drinks were refilled constantly. One odd thing are these tiny screens on each table. I think they’re for digital browsing of the menu and maybe ordering drinks from the table, but it seemed to me like a germ-covered thing that was in the way.
